out of all the nail salons ive been to this is by far the worse nail salon ever!! i can't even begin to express how upset i was last night after the experience i had there for my second visit. and to think i was excited about getting my nails done. i walked in yesterday and immediately sensed something was different from the 1st time. last night there was on 4 workers there and of course the one lady who walks back and forth speaking in her language. after being seated in the spa seat i decided to just get a mani ($12) & pedi ($28). i waited about 20 minutes before a male worker walked in from being outside in front on his phone and sat down win front of me. he barely spoke any english. not aware i began to tell i'm i want my toe nails cut really short and all he would do is look up at me and smile then give me a thumbs up. but the whole time looking like he was confused and didn't really know what to do. he grabbed a filer and began to file my toenails. i repeated myself about him cutting my nails as short as he could. as im sitting her typing this, i find myself getting upset again. i would like to express everything that happened in detail but it will be way to much. but seriously i am not even rating them 1 star. i would never recommend this place to anyone and i mean that. the guy who was supposed to be doing my pedi made me feel like he has no experience in this line of business. he never cut my nails like i requested and then the lady that walks around she ended up being the one who cut my nails. after that she got up from the chair and the same male guy came back with that same lady sitting near by directing him who and what to do. next he attempted to do the callus remover. which also was done very poorly. at this point i begin to express myself and requested to have someone more experienced finish my feet. the lady began to get upset. and i told her if someone else can finish my feet more experienced then just forget it. basically i walked out of there with extremely unsatisfied service. my mani & pedi never being completed yet that lady is charging me $45 bucks. again i expressed to her that she needs to think about training him more before she allows him to work on any other customers. and her reply was she feels that by her sitting near him directing him what to do that he will do a good job. i explained to her he does not know what he is doing or how to do it. i showed her my feet and said he didnt even remove the skin from my heels. by now im pissed and gave her the damn money because i just wanted to leave. she began to yell and said well then ill give back $5 for callus remover. i paid $40 bucks to this lady to sit there! i wasted money i really dont have to get nothing that i wanted. im extremely upset my toes are not even decent enough for me to wear sandles. im not even gonna begin to talk about my mani. i just cant express enough that this is the worse place to go for any serivces that they advertise. i will never go  back here and i will make it a point to tell others never to go there as well. they dont even deserve the 1 star rating i had to give. I use to go to Andy when he was in Lakewood which was still pretty far from where, I live all the way in Alhambra so I was devastated when he moved even further, I tried places near me like nail pro but they're nothing but cheaters and charging extra for shit they didn't do. I had a manicure & pedicure done here with my friends. Two of us decided to do the mani-pedi deal for $28 but in the end we both ended up paying over $40. There was this lady walking around, I believe she was the owner or manager, she pretty much hustled us. She told me that the pedicure was going to be $18 and then with the manicure it would be $28 so I was excited because I thought that would be a good deal but the she told me that manicure would be $15 extra but that she would give me a deal and charge me $12 for a manicure, when a manicure on their menu is already $12. When I got my manicure they sat me in the back and basically left me there until they were ready. Employees were just on their phones ignoring me and a pregnant lady was also walking around making rude comments to my friend who opted of getting a pedicure. The manicure was also poorly done. The lady seemed as if she did not want to do my manicure as she did not even try to shape my nails or anything she just barely filed them. She then left me to dry nails while she used her phone in front of me and never once checked if my nails were dry until the manager wanted to charge me. When the manager rang me up she was covering the amount she charged on my card. I am definitely not okay with that, but I paid what she charged I just decided to never, ever go there again and hope you do the same. This place is a total SCAM. I would definitely not recommend. Tom did a phenomenal job! My nails have never looked better. I have been to almost every nail salon in the Uniontown area and no one has ever listened to me or gave me what I wanted! I tried Sky Nail Salon because I moved to Fullerton not that long ago. When I first came, it was also the first time I've ever tried Gel polish. I was immediately greeted by the front staff and taken care of by Sylvi and Tracy. These ladies are absolutely wonderful!!! They always keep the conversation going and are very sweet! 3 weeks after I got my gel mani and pedi, my nails didn't budge one bit! The color was still vibrant and no chips at all! So impressed! I came back specifically for Sylvi and even brought my mom and niece this time around! Again, they embraced us and took us back for our manis and pedis without a wait at all! In my quest for a new nail salon, I gave this shop a try because I received a coupon in the mail and it was close to my home.  Shop is clean and I witnessed the sterilizer in use.  Before having my acrylic fill and pedicure, I showed them a picture of my botched fill from the salon I visited previously.  They grimaced.  Trish performed both services and I was very pleased with the results.  She was friendly and we had no problems communicating.  She shaped my nails just the way I like them.  She did a good job on my pedicure but didn't provide much of a massage.  For this reason I can't rate 5 stars.  I will return to the shop and try another technician for the pedicure.  A nice plus was being offered cold, bottled water.  I recommend this salon. Found this place on yelp; gel mani and regular pedi for $28. I added some jewels to my design for $5 more. My nails look great, and my technician was wonderful. I left feeling very pampered, the package included lotion/massage and hot towel. I was offered a bottle of water towards the end of my time there. The only irritating thing was another customer who insisted on being in control of all the televisions. She even turned the volume down on the tv nearest me so she could hear her tv better. She was very inconsiderate, but obviously that is no fault of the business or nail techs. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends/Fam, and will be going back myself. Read Less

Not impressed. I've had my Gel for about a week and it's already peeling off, the base by the cuticle is jagged and my friends gel chipped in two days! Also my Gel is definitely not the color I asked for. When I was there instead of rubbing the lotion into my hands and arms she covered them with lotion and wiped it off with a warm towel. The manicurist was very friendly and did a terrific job on my pedicure. With the massage and spa pedicure, I felt very relaxed and pampered. However, at the end I checked into Yelp for $2 off, but they wouldn't apply the discount until I wrote a 5-star review. I told them both Yelp and the sign on the window said only a check-in was necessary. They said no discount without a 5-star review. Brand new nail salon in Fullerton therefore, their chairs are new and the salon is very clean. OPI and Essie are the polishes of choice. They advertise free water, coffee and even wine but I've gone here twice and have never been offered any. A basic mani pedi is $26 which is eat more than what I usually pay for in town. They also charge extra for using a card which I find ridiculous when stores do that. Ive gone here twice so far bc of their grand opening coupon for $18 mani/pedi. I'm always on the lookout for new places to get my nails done, as gel manicures are probably my one true indulgence the majority of the time.This new place has sooo many spa chairs just waiting for buns to occupy them! It was practically empty when i walked in and i was taken to a manicure table right away and offered coffee or water. I accepted the water and the manicurist got to work. She seemed a bit new at this but knew all of the correct steps to take, and soon enough i was walking out with a shiny new gel manicure.For $19 and a $3 gel polish removal fee, it was a pretty good deal. It was my first time there. The place was clean and lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and thorough. Nails and toes were done beautifully. Only complaint is that they charge individually for nails, gel powder instead of one set price. I have not gotten nails done in a long time so this may be how salons charge now. The owners gave us a discount which was very nice and I appreciated it. I would recommend this place.
