I just moved recently and was looking for a new nail salon to call home! Diamond nails had amazing reviews on here and I couldn't just pass up the opportunity to get a quick fill and nail repair here. There shop is very cute and has a friendly staff as well. I asked kindly how long the wait would be for a fill, with gel and they surprisingly took me right away! And on a Saturday afternoon nonetheless  Ivy was at my station in no less than a minute and immediately started to work on me. I highly recommend Ivy; she's very detail oriented and I love that in a nail technician. She even repaired my broken nails at no charge and it wasn't even her work! Cassidy has such a fun personality and is very skilled. She knows her craft very well and makes good recommendations! I'm really picky about my nails being even in length on both hands, and she made sure to shape them perfectly! The gel manicure I got is absolutely perfect -- no bubbles and super smooth. This place. So I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago and I walk in and thy are totally swamped and they tell me they can't keep my appointment. Right now I walk in and they say they can't do a pedicure because they have appointments. Ok? So when you make an appointment they won't keep it and when you just walk in they won't take you either. Such a hole in the wall type of place, this was my first time here and I'm super hesitant when it comes to switching nail salons but I loved it. I've been going to Diamond for a year now - all of the techs are great.  Linda runs a tight ship - I LOVE that she will not overbook - I've never had to wait because if you make an appt, they are ready for you when you walk in.   And I have never, ever had a tech better than Tracy for my hands.  She is the business.  All of the ladies are great, and they all get their repeat customers.  Linda hires only the best!  Love this spot. PS - make an appointment.  Walk-ins rarely get seen, and rightly so.  They are always full, because the quality is so great - and the gel color selection - my gosh I have never seen so many choices.  Annnnnd every gel has a matching non-gel for pedicures! She asked me how I wanted my nails and showed me how it looked on one nail before doing the whole thing, which I appreciated. I live in Irvine and have literally been to every nail salon in the area. All of which are expensive with mediocre service and quality. I'm constantly left paying way too much for a gel manicure only to discover air bubbles in it or have it peel off and start chipping in less than a week. I discovered Diamond Nails when visiting my boyfriend in Fullerton and have not found anywhere better since! Diamond nails is clean, professional, and affordable. The nail technicians are very sweet and make sure you're completely happy with what you're getting. They're experienced and will advise you on what will and won't look good and stay on your nails even if it means they won't be getting as much money from you. No charge for previous gel removal because they don't want you to try removing them yourself in an attempt to save money and end up damaging your nails. Color selection is amazing! There's been a few times I show up with a broken nail and they're able to fix the broken nail like no place has ever done before. I'm highly impressed and completely satisfied every time! Read Less

I came with a friend and we were greeted with friendly staff. Our pedis were excellent. Both our manis were terrible and we don't want to come back just because of that. Regular mani+pedi for $29Add French tips +$3Not too many selections for polishes. They have one brand that can do both regular and gel..forget the name of the brand.Pedicure was perfect. The lady who did mine was thorough and was able to safely remove the ingrown part of few of toenails. I wish I got her name but she was fantastic.Manicure is a whole different story. I was not satisfied with how my French mani turned out. The polish was painted unevenly with bumps. I chose a blue glitter polish and I love the color because it's so summery.This particular polish has a base no glitter blue first, then glitter blue on top. The glitter polish was very goopy.. They need to throw old polishes out. She put on some sort of top but it did not have a nice shiny finish.I was drying my nails when I accidentally hit the table and messed up one of my nails. I didn't really care to get it fixed but the owner insisted. Then she realized that all the rest of nails didn't have the correct top coat and immediately brought out the manicurist and educated her on the spot to always put on the top coat.My friend also had a bad mani where her mani looked like it wasn't fully done. Her manicurist failed to paint her entire nail. I will be seeking out a salon with better staff next time. Glad to have given this place a try but wont be back. 2 stars for the pedicure only. Got a regular mani here (only $14!) with Gracie, if I remember correctly. She was great and took her time while being efficient, and she wasn't a huge talker, which works perfectly for me. My mani lasted a whole week without chipping, and would've lasted longer if my nails didn't grow out so fast and I changed the color myself. Only complaint I have is that the polish was a tad streaky in some places but maybe that's because my nails were uneven from having gel nails previously? She did file them, though!Just FYI if you use Google Maps to find it, it led me to somewhere completely not here. So maybe look up Giovanni's or Republic which are right next door. Small parking lot, but there was no issues finding parking on a Saturday when I went. So I went to Diamond NailsToday and was told they could not help me unless I had an appointment?  There sign clearly says walk ins welcome! When I walked in they asked me what I needed and I told them manicure and pedicure and I sat down . She than told me they were busy and I had to come another day unless I had made an appointment !! Why ask me what I need if your not going to help me? I got up from my chair as everyone is staring at me like I'm a criminal and left . I have been here one time before after I had yelped a good place to go to and I had a nice experience when I went (went on a Friday at same time as today ) never going back . I've only had pedicures here so I can't speak to the other services. There are only 4 pedicure chairs and they are angled weirdly so you can't really talk to your friends. They are always busy and I would recommend you make an appointment.The good thing is that they have lots of colors to select from, everything is clean, and they do there best to make you feel relaxed. Came in on a Thursday afternoon called ahead got an appointment within hour. Pedicure: by Lynn i got the deluxe spa pedicure 30$ as advertised I'm pregnant and when I walked in it smelled really strong of all the chemicals, i asked for a face mask and they actully had a disposable one (which in my past experiences hasnt been the case) they didnt make me feel awkward about it either.  Lynn was very nice made conversation. And I'm really happy woth the outcome of my nails. No bumps,lumps or complaints ill be coming back for sure. Tip: make an appointment ahead of time they are good here so always busy. LISTEN TO ME LINDA! ugh, so conflicted with this review. this place was super easy to find & had plenty of parking. my mother & i decided to try a new place since our usual spot was closed. we're almost immediately seated & taken to our chairs. the seating is weird because it's at an angle so if you want to have a conversation with a friend, it's awkward. i took a look at their menu of services. my mom came in for a gel fill & pedicure. i got a new pink & white set with a pedicure. the menu stated my pink & white was $35. i got linda for my nails & sadly didn't catch the name of the gal working on my toes. linda was spacy. she started doing her own thing. i had to stop her & tell her i wanted pink & white... not whatever she was currently doing. she apologized then proceeded to tell me if i knew the pink & white was $45. i showed her the menu & she said that, that was the fill price. umm, below the pink & white fill price was $30. she told me she's honor the price this one time due to her daughter's typo. she honored the price without the gel finish so that sucks. as soon as the gal was done with my awesome pedicure, they moved my mom & i to sit down to finish our nails. i don't like moving so it was a bummer. at the multiple salons we've gone to, they do everything at the massage chairs. the quality is good. i'd say a 4 out of 5. everything is perfect except for the attention to detail & the fact i have a crooked nail.so basically in a nutshell: PROS: fast. (in & out in about an hour for everything) quality is better than average. CONS: prices are wrong & pretty expensive. seating & moving. not clear on the grand total. (i think she charged me incorrectly but whatever) i don't think i'll be back. i mean maybe if i'm in a pickle or short on time. Read Less

Linh and Ivy did my pedicure and manicure. They were so sweet, friendly and went the extra mile to make my experience amazing. Ivy was meticulous and quite the perfectionist when it came to my nails. She got out the tiniest brush to make sure the color leading up to my cuticles was thoroughly coated. At the end, they do a little massage with warm lotion. And I love the sparkly details they added. My actual manicure and pedicure came out well which is the only reason why I gave this place two stars. Parking was absolutely horrible. My friend who was meeting me there was routed to a trailer park when putting in the address on yelp. The ladies there said its very common for whatever reason. The spa chairs are not quite side-by-side and are at a 45° angle so it makes it difficult to talk to the person you're sitting next to. I found a couple of the ladies quite rude. Great service!! They were so nice and helpful. I got a really simple negative space design and my technician was very careful to make sure we had the same idea in mind and it looked perfect. I even picked a lighter color at first that didn't pop and she tried one nail, asked my thoughts and then let me pick a better one. I wish I'd gotten her name. She was younger and really pretty - it seemed like she might be one of the main girls to do designs there though. I went here for the first time based off of recommendation from friends, and I loved it! At first, I was told to call ahead to schedule an appointment which is very true. Make sure to call ahead so they are ready for you. I was taken care of by Holly and she is very friendly and pays attention to detail. I got a manicure, acrylics, with gel and that was $39. The only disappointing thing was that I couldn't find prices online and when I called the woman ignored me when I asked for prices. I was discouraged by this but when I first got there I could tell they were busy so I forgot about it. The building is very small and narrow but it's also very cute. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I'm a local here so it's nice that I found such a familiar area to get my nails done :) I've never gone to a place where I thought my nails were flawless until I went here! Read Less
