I am so grateful for coming into this nail salon. The nail tech who helped me is Danny, and he was the absolute best! I came in to OC Nails very nervous because of a terrible experience with a nail tech in the past. In November, while visiting a friend in Moreno Valley, I went to my friend's local salon to get a gel manicure where the nail tech filed them down with the drill so much that my nails were so sensitive when touched and would bend easily. There were deep dips in my nails that hurt so bad. After this experience, I went to my usual salon to remove the gel polish and had them add acrylic on my nails to prevent them from being so sensitive and bendy. Since the acrylic was done in December, I had been growing my nails out because I was terrified that my next nail tech would hurt me again with the nail drill. I grew them out for about a little over a month before my mom dragged me to OC Nails because she couldn't stand seeing them. The nail tech, Danny, took me in to do my nails. Danny noticed I was jumpy when he tried taking off the acrylic with the nail drill, so I explained to him my situation. After that he was incredibly gentle and took the time to slowly peel off the acrylic from each nail rather than file it down. He was able to see the dips in my nails where the nail tech went in too deep with the drill. Danny noticed my nail tips were really bendy so he put Gel Builder on to help thicken my nails, then polished my nails with a lavender gel polish. I have to say that I am very very pleased with his patience and appreciated him taking extra care with my nails. Plus they turned out great! I was searching all around the Fullerton area for a decent nail salon and i am SO glad i found this place! I am solely writing a review only on my experience with acrylics, since that is the only service i went in for. Upon reading reviews, the one name that kept appearing was Daisy, so i had to book an appointment with her. She was able to see me the same day and i cant begin to explain how awesome she is! Daisy is a true professional and a master of her craft. She specializes in acrylics and watching her take time and effort with each nail really made me appreciate her work. I've gotten acrylics done before and every time they always end up too thick, there is residue inside the tip and end up looking very crooked. With Daisy, not only did she make sure there was no residue left over, she makes the acrylics looks so natural! Very nice experience. I took my 4yr old who had Jenni, and she was wonderful. Very patient and even added little flowers to her toes and fingers. They were very thorough and and the mani/pedi was very well done. You didn't feel rushed at all. We were also seated very quickly, especially for a Saturday. The inside was clean as well. Okay I thought I'd give this place a shot since I haven't really found a good nail spot in the Fullerton area. I went about a week ago and will definitely be back. This place is awesome. It's clean, bright and beautiful. These are all important to me. Nothing grosses me out more than a dirty or disorganized nail salon. Listen to the yelp reviews and don't waste your money!! We came here to give it a second chance as they had changed the name and maybe owners too, but yet again it was a complete disappointment! I personally did not go before but my family I was with had. It's really nice inside and it had great potential, but it just wasn't there. The guy in the front was very nice, seemed like maybe he was running the show, but the lady who did my nails was rude and pushy. I got a gel manicure and a pedi. Basically I just soaked my hands in water, she cleaned underneath them, and bam I was done. To top it off, my nail, my GEL polished nail... chipped in less than 2 days!! We were there on Saturday and by Monday after noon it was chipped. My niece had polish all over her fingers, how hard is it to take a brush with nail polish remover and clean it up? It looked like when I try to paint my  left hand on my own... lol a mess! Anyway seems like everyone had a bad experience except for our mother in law who only got her toes done. OC Nail Spa is the best. They always listen to what I want and do there best to make sure I'm happy with my nails when I walk out the door. I was waiting in line for early bird cafe and decided to peek in and see if they could take me quickly. The place is Beautiful and clean. Very friendly staff, owner is really lovely and did my gel nails perfect. Kim did my pedicure and did a lovely job! I will certainly be back! Read Less

The salon is nice and the prices are about average for the area.  Wine or champagne with the most expensive services.  I went here on a whim to try to de-stress and the lady doing my manicure started becoming obviously frustrated with me and kept telling me "RELAX!  I'll do it!" sternly; at one point I felt like I was being treated like child.  The UV dryer didn't start properly and she blamed me; she smudged one of my freshly painted nails and of course that was my fault.  I stopped doing ANYTHING until she condescendingly told me to do something.   The entire experience was ruined by this and I just wanted to get out of there.  My right arm has two bruises on it from the massage she gave.  She also neglected to mention there was an up charge for having glitter gel put on my ring fingers (NBD, but why not just mention it?)  I also picked a color that I thought was opaque and rather than let me know it was translucent, she just slapped it on.  Two of my nails have chipped and the gel has peeled up from one in just three days. I sprang for the $45 pedicure thinking that being a little spoiled might be nice. That package is supposed to come with a 20 minute massage a glass of wine and a few other things. The massage was very rushed, and not even a full 20. I asked about the wine and my nail girl just laughed. I asked again a little while later and she just said no. The pedicure turned out ok, although she left quite a bit of polish on the skin and not my nail. Overly priced and filled with false information. Second time coming here but needless to say I will never return again. If you have in writing what your package is supposed to come with fulfill it or get it off your little "menu." Definitely not worth the price they are asking. Never making this mistake again. Read Less

I love this place, I came in for a full set of acrylics. I wanted a certain look for my birthday, and daisy was so helpful with getting me the perfect look.  She really listened to what I want, and helped me achieve it! I really wanted to like this place. I can be Goldilocks when it comes to nail salons, but to be fair I gave this place two chances. They don't really have the best menu options or nail colors in my opinion. I don't even remember seeing China Glaze or Essie. A few OPI sprinkled through no-name polishes. Each time I went I got the pamper me pedi. The first time my massage didn't last the entire 12 minutes and the woman scraped the inside of my ankle because she was a bit too rough. I even had a bit of a scab for awhile. I think it's awkward that they use a timer for their massages, if anything...  Yes, it's nice that they time it, but the women just spend the entire time checking the timer. They seem miserable throughout, just waiting for the time to be up. I don't relish the idea of massaging feet, and I hate when people say this, but... It's their job.The second time went similar to the first. I didn't really like the way she cut/shaped my toes. It lasted 99% of the 12 minutes for this massage at least. It's new but it doesn't mean it's great. I probably had the worst experience at a nail salon here than I did any where else. The facility is new so it's clean and spacious. They do not offer a large selection of colors as they directed to us to a small section of the wall where they had a sad selection of colors for us to pick from. Anyhow.... upon arriving the workers were nice and greeted us promptly and sat us down pretty fast. I was given a menu of services that I can pick from and I went with the deluxe pedicure.  My nail tech, Kelly was sweet at first and I told her please don't touch my right baby toe because it's hurting me. She agreed and said ok but once she started cutting and using the cuticle cutter, she kept touching that toe and was so aggressive with my big toe. I told her to please listen and not touch the baby toe but she said to me not to worry and it isn't bleeding and kept doing what she wanted even when I asked her to stop. At the end she still tried to cut more with that cuticle clippers after numerous times telling her no more cutting. She had no respect what the customer wanted. This just rubbed me the wrong way! Listen when your customer tells you to stop if it hurts and don't ignore off what their telling you. Crappy leg massage too. If it's just minor I like to come and give it another try but this tech... hit a nerve with me and definitely have no desire to try this place out ever again! Read Less

This new store has reasonable costs, and clear pricing on menu, so there is no hard sales pitch. The new furniture is great - the spa chairs are nice. They show you a time for the massage so you get what you paid for. Got the Pamper me Pedi. They have facials also. Read Less

I went to stater bros a month ago and noticed there was a dry bar and nail place in the same shopping center. Ive visited this nail place twice already and each time Daisy has done an amazing job. She is easy to talk to and shes up to date with the latest polish trends.  When i met her the first time i really liked the color on her nails so i asked for the same color on mine. The gel lasted me over a month and it helped my nails grow long and strong. After a month i finally went back again and Daisy remembered me and the color on my nails too. She was painting new gel color palettes with mood polish so i asked for nude to pink. She also just got in these new metallic colors that change based on the lighting and i did one finger on each hand with that metallic green/purple color and i love it. When i got home i touched my nails to an ice pack and the mood changing polish went from nude to pink.Love it and will definitely be going back to get metallic nails on all fingers. Hehe. Read Less
