One good thing about my gel manicure was that the lady did a pretty good job with my cuticles, even though she cut a bit deep on one nail, I forgive her. Also, she put enough coats of polish without me having to ask, so another point for her. However, one nail had a debris stuck in it, and she didn't fix it so I left with my nail looking blah. Also, she didn't use a new towel, it was so gross. When she did my nails, there was already gunk (from someone elses cuticle clippings) stuck on there and the towel was just not clean. At one point she tried shaking the towel off but that stuff stayed on the towel. And then, as I was looking around, I saw sooooo much dust on the lamps at all their stations. Like a thiiiick layer. First and last time coming here, first off the weren't welcoming at all, the lady who did my nails literally took 2 hours I sat in her chair at 440 left the place at 645. They kept switching from girl to girl just for a gel full set. Also they don't have much colors to choose from and they charge way to much for a gel full set. Went to get my nails done over here the other day and it was the worse service ever. I usually go somewhere else, but I decided to give this place a chance.  The person who was doing my nails was very rude to me and did not listen to me when I told him what I wanted and I showed him the color I wanted for my nails to get a similar color and to make the process to go by faster. I have been going to Nice Nails for over 7 years now and I have no idea why this is my first review..lol. Used to love this place. But thier services have become way too expensive since they raised prices at the beginning of 2017. They only have ONE manicurest and several people who do pedicures. Why?? I've been going here for acrylic nails for years. Everyone here is amazing and does a great job, very attentive! Expensive for the quality. They literally charge for everything, for example, they charge an amount because it's a set, another amount to shape, another amount if you get glitter and a separate amount if you get gel. I don't know about you but generally acrylic nails for me consist of all these for one general price. What are acrylic nails without gel or getting them shaped? They also don't even make the nail, they just glue one on. I got extremely simple nails and paid almost $50. Also got my first pedi here, both of the people I got were rude and didn't really seem to care for my service. First time here, my daughter looked it up and said it had great rating. She has been wanting to try a new place. So here we are, we made appointments at 4:30 for two and one at 4:45. We arrive about 10 minutes late, but we arrive and let them know we have appointments and the response is we will get to you as soon as we can. We seat here and wait, there is only standing room. After my daughter asks how long the wait is they offer her a seat. They start her nails. As we sit here and wait, I finally ask how much longer once again the answer is we will get you in as soon as we can. But they offer my friend with a 4:45 appointment a seat. Yes she came in about 15 after me. Here we are 50 minutes past my arrival time and I am still siting here waiting. This is a bad first impression. As I am sitting here waiting one of the workers keeps on looking at my family and I. My son whispers to me, this lady won't stop staring. It made him feel uncomfortable. This is not a place I will come back for service that is for sure. We will see how my friends and daughters nails turn out. At this rate I don't know if I will get my done.Ok after they finally sat me down I was happy. They were nice and did a good job.. the wait was terrible but the end product was good. I have my had nails dipped twice and and a pedicure. I love how peticular and professional they are. I was going to another nail salon and they were always rushed trying to accommodate everyone. I first went here and had Tracy. She was very nice and did a great job to where my nails lasted. My second time was Matthew and I am just in love. My very first pedicure, my wife convinced me after several years. Lan was excellent she did an excellent job. I have issues with my toenails. I need extra steps in my pedicure. I love Cindy, her gentleness and her artwork that she can do on my big toenails to camouflage the bruising, which can appear as a shadow under the gel polish. The price for services there is reasonable and all of the people working there are friendly and nice. The shop is conveniently located by Remke's and my hair dresser too. I usually do my own pedicures but when I treat myself I always go here. I've been to many other places but honestly this place is the best so far.
