Overpriced kids pedicure.. the super grand red and gold chair has a portable food soaker that you'd purchase from Walmart, and one of the little kids chairs are broken. I had an appointment which I felt like the staff and no idea about because I had to explain several times that we're celebrating my moms birthday and it was my nieces first manicure/pedicure. They were trying to figure out a way for us to sit together etc. I should have known though because when I initially set the appointment up I was rushed on the phone and felt like I called someone's cell phone, not an actual business line. The pedicures were ok. The staff gossiped and talked about a hair appointment for another client that needed to happen, but the client was upset blah blah. Bottom line, it didn't feel like a professional environment. I encourage the owner to communicate with her employees... I don't feel like they aren't capable or need a stern talking to because of something they did... I just feel like there is a disconnect and the staff isn't happy therefore they don't seem thrilled to be there. As a customer I want to enjoy my services and have reasons to leave a nice tip. I wanted to love this place. Michelle the owner is great, she didn't do my nails but I watched as she did stiletto nails for another customer. I came in with a bridal party on friday and she had drinks, cut fruit, chocolate covered strawberries, and candies for us to enjoy while we got our nails done. The staff I interacted with was nice and we had a few laughs. Personally, I enjoyed the salon. Just didn't enjoy my mani. I asked for a light pink gel with French tips. The woman who did my nails, I didn't catch her name, showed me two colors one looked more orange than pink and the one I went with had a pink tint-ish, but it was pretty weak. I figured it would be ok. I never had gel nails done before in a salon,  I usually do my own nails. So when she gave those options, I just went with it. The end result was a milky looking color, didn't notice a few bubbles until after i left. She only did one layer saying she didn't want to make it heavy, but later in the day i was wishing she had done at least another layer cause it didn't look even at all in the light. The whole thing just felt rushed, compared to the rest of the girls in our party.It's now Sunday evening and the gel on one of my nails already lifted. I took my boyfriend's mom here on Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. I understood it was a busy weekend so i thought an appointment would suffice. I scheduled an appointment at 10am. Once we arrived, I noticed that there were only 4 workers and the phones were ringing off the hook. They would try to squeeze all of their appointment clients AND walk-ins. We didn't get seated until 10:30am and there were so many women switching off doing my nails and my bf's mom's nails, it was hard to keep track who was doing what. They tried too hard to get everybody which lowered the quality of their service. I did gel mani but I noticed they only needed me to put my hand in the UV dryer for 30 seconds. It was not long at all. This resulted in my nails peeling off a few days later. Fast forward a week, all of my gel peeled off on the edges so I started ripping them off. I feel like this salon tried so hard to get all their clients in but there needs to be a point you need to say no. How are you going to tell 4 different clients on the phone to come in after 12:30pm? This was my first time here and I don't know why they have been so highly rated. First, I was told to take a seat and wait for Michelle with whom I had an appointment for an acrylic fill. She finally attended to me about 10-15 min later and looked at my nails and immediately told me that if I wanted it cut shorter and filed in the same u-shape my nails are in, it would cost me an extra 5 dollars. She told me it's an art to file in u-shape. I've never heard of this and I've been getting my nails done for 15 years. And to top it all, she was either on the phone or talking to others. I've made appointments for the last five times I've visited. Four of the five times, I had to wait for an excess of 20 mins past my appointment time because they were "understaffed". They're all very nice but it's not a place to go if you're expecting your time to be respected. Plus, I've noticed my nails are shaped crooked most of the time and I have to fix it. I called and was given an appointment immediately, did not have to wait after getting there. The young man who did my manicure was pleasant and did a fantastic job. Hands down my new favorite nails place! I decided to try this place after seeing the nearly perfect yelp reviews, and I am glad I did! Super friendly and welcoming and they really took their time with the service. I got the treatment pedicure which included salt scrub, callus removal, parafin wax, and a really good massage. Had a acrylic set done by Sierra. After filing my nails down, she didn't even wipe off all the nail particles and proceeded to put tips on. Then the acrylic was so thick and uneven. The polish was put on very streaky and the edges looked like a child did it. I did try to correct her politely but there was just mistake after mistake. Weird that she is even allowed to do acrylic sets. She needs to take her time and not be in a rush. Read Less

I called and they were ready to take me in so I went right away! They're very welcoming and nice from the moment I entered to the moment i left.It cost me 28.50 which is decent for a french Gel. The quality is great, it can be improved but I'm happy with it. Jennifer did my french gel manicure and it's really good. She knows what she's doing. I wanted something equivalent to Essie's sugar daddy color for the base but since they don't have Essie, Jen brought something very close and it turned out nice! The payment is an easy process on a tablet with an option for an e-receipt to email. I love that! This is my third nail salon in California; one in San Diego which was horrible. One 2 years ago in fresno, was ok and now out of business. And then this one which I liked! So I don't have a lot of experience to compare and three of them can't be compared to some I tried oversees which normal french manicure with hand massage would cost $25 so it's probably more expensive to do it oversees but the quality is incomparable. I've been here 4 times because I love Emmi but today will be my last visit. I want to like this salon but the disorganization has made each appointment stressful. If this salon could follow their appointment schedule and not have clients wait over 40 minutes I would be a regular customer. I haven't been to their new location until today. They're on Sommerville and Perrin now. They took over All Season Nails. Cyndi has done my pedi in the past and while she's thorough with the cleanings, my toes are never evenly cut or shaped. The pedi massage was very light and I preferred a more firm massage. Kara (or Karie) dos my mani and she was just amazing. All of my nails were evenly shaped and the massage was great. I got some basic nail art done but the colors started to bleed. I don't normally get my nails done because I'm capable of doing them myself at the same caliber, but it's just nice to treat yourself once in a while. Michelle is really the guru here which shouldn't be a surprise since she's the owner. Lol. Nail art is $5 for all nails unless it's real intricate, then you have to ask Michelle. Prices are pretty reasonable with manis $16.50 and pedis at $25.50. They're having their grand opening next Tuesday (14?). All in all, everything was good. I've been going to this salon since I was 13. That's 11 years of my coming back to the same place! I've been to other salons all over the place and there's no place like home!They do an amazing job for a really reasonable price! I recommend this salon to anyone and take all my friends and family here. They have made some serious renovations and it's so nice inside now! Like I said- it's always clean and always enjoyable! this is my favorite nail salon of all time. the owner michele is there with her parents who garauntee superior service and perfect nails everytime- they cut my cuticles flawlessly and applied a gell manicure that lasted more than a month- my pedicure lasted two months! gell is the way to go!
