I took my grand daughter to get her nails done today and we usually go to teresa but she said she was booked so she offered her co worker, Leti, we were there for over 3 hours. I just had surgery on my back so i was not very happy and teresa knew it but she did not even say anything. So unprofessional of them.  Leti still charges me $45.00 after 3 hours of torture. The good: best nails in town. My acrylics look like I paid good money for them. I've seen $20 full sets and they look like $10. But not here. Even growing out, my nails look great. The bad: Teresa left file marks on my nails and didn't polish all the way to the tip. The freehand graphic was poorly centered and she filed an arch under my nails. The atmosphere is NOT CHILD FRIENDLY. They openly discuss sex and other inappropriate topics like race. They drop everything to play on their cellphone but when you message them, you can't get a reply. Lastly, they never tell you how much your appointment will cost. No matter how many times you ask, they never answer. So the final bill is always more than it should be and there's nothing you can do about it. I have been waiting to go to iCandy because I thought they were a little expensive, especially for being a college student. Despite that I wanted to try it because I follow them on Instagram and I love their work. I called to make an appointment and got a text from Sin 10 minutes later to make an appointment. She asked me for some referral images so she could be prepared. I sent her my idea and she seemed super happy, she said it was right up her alley. On the day of my appointment she welcomed me at the front door. She was super tall which was intimidating at first but over my entire appointment we got to know each other. She didn't ask me what I wanted because she already had my image pulled up on her phone. I feel like she's more than just my manicurist now, I feel like we can be good friends as well. She was so down to Earth, very easy to talk to, and just an all around great person. When it came time to pay I was still nervous but it very afforable for a fill and amazing artwork. I liked her so much that I referred my mother over to her and I don't plan on changing manicurist ever again. Thank you so much Sin. I'm so upset. My nail appointment ruined my day! I'm a new customer....don't stick me with someone who is so new and probably fresh out of school!!! My nails look so bad..it's absolutely embarrassing. My nail tech was shaking the entire time. She didn't stick Amy tips on because she couldn't get her glue to come out!!! She the. I got my nails done for my wedding, it was a specialized theme (the Disney movie "Up") and I wanted my nails to match. Sin was my amazing technician. She worked tirelessly and the results are amazing. It's been a couple of weeks and the art hasn't chipped at all! Sent in an email requesting info and feedback, received no response. Called in for an appointment for my friend and i, we were given to 2 young girls that have been doing nails less then 6 months and the other less then 1 1/2 yrs. Extremely SLOW on pedi, she even thank me for not having calluses, pedi setup is NOT your typical pedi spa. I do Not recommend. The bench seating with pillows is extremely uncomfortable and does not offer a relaxing environment. My Pink and Whites, with back fill are more like yellow and whites. The powder this new girl used said pink but is extremely lite in color and after 1st week has turned yellowish. I have had to buff, glue and paint to get these nails to stay on two weeks. They are open mon to Fri per their website and I saw the work the well seasoned workers were doing and it was beautiful. RECOMMENDED TO ASK FOR A PROFESSIONAL AND INSIST ON NO ONE NEW.. Read Less

Jennifer was so kind, sweet, takes her time and is such an artist! I have super thin, fragile, weak nails and she was so attentive. Most acrylics I get at other salons will lift within a week. I've had mine from Jennifer for 2 1/2 weeks now and they are standing strong. Loved my experience. Read Less

I HAD been a customer for over a year and a half.In that time I HAD to change nail techs twice, and left the shop after the third.First tech, Mika....the most AWESOME art and nails were good. Problem, Mika didn't show up for our appointments.I was sent to Second tech, Kristy...Her nails were not consistent. Some thin, some thick...not a good job. The art was just okay.Third round was Elaina.She was by far the best. IN THE BEGINNING, she was great with scheduling, always there, and she was always very consciences of her work. It was always beautiful, and she does a very good job on the nails themselves.The problem began over a six month period. I was WAITING 30-45 minutes for MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. NEVER ONCE was I apologized to, instead I was told that was part of the business.....I disagree with that. My time is important, and I'm paying you for a service. So let me tell you all , iCANDY is amazing with their work ! But ONE of their hair stylist employee did my hair a horrible job ! & I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED & will never in my life return to her or recommend her to anyone &  my hair is black / brown at the time I went to get my hair done , I wanted to get my hair done blonde steak with blonde ombre on the bottom . I posted a picture that my hair was suppose to be . This was my first time going to a salon too . Usually I gotten my hair by friends & myself . This girl that was doing my hair name is "ROXANNE" . I repeatedly asked her if she can actually turn my hair blonde the way the pictures shows & I even told her about my hair history , she still continue to say she can still do it & it probably take process . So while she was doing my hair I notice it wasn't changing any color .  She then keep telling me when it's done , I will see a difference . So my respond was okay , it was just a waiting game till it was done . When she was washing my hair out , she was telling me their is a differences . She charge me $165 . I actually tip her $5 too . I came home after 8/9 hours getting my hair done & my hair color came out like this (picture posted) . I wanted my hair fix cause it's not nearly the color I even wanted & she said she will charge me again . Great place for nails but probably not for hair. Well, only the hair dresser/stylist I went to. She didn't listen to what I wanted & in the end, ended up over processing my hair. It looked nice at first but then my hair ended up having so many fried ends. I had to go to another hair salon to get my hair fixed. Told my friends my experience & they ended up not going to her. After having a bad experience with another nails salon, Sino had me come in the following evening to have it all fix. This time i have a three color Ombre with sparkle. I have been coming to iCandy for a little over 8 months and I have never been disappointed! Theresa is the best I always leave 100% satisfied. They are very busy and you have to make and appointment however they have a lot of manicurists and can usually get you in. I have a few friends that go to other girls in the salon and there nails always look awesome so you can't go wrong with anyone you choose. Keep in mind that art takes time but it's totally worth it!! Decided to book an appointment with at iCandy because I desperately needed my nails done. I ended up booking an appointment with Mika, and I can say she definitely gained a loyal customer. She was so sweet, and did my nails exactly how I like them. If you want cheap, basic nails don't go to iCandy. If you want your money's worth and quality, Mika is your girl!
