So I decided to bleach my hair at home. After I saw my hair was yellow I decided to tone it myself. I ended up calling this salon because I've heard great things from friends. I came in for a consultation about color correction on Monday, and I made an appointment for Wednesday to get my hair fixed. Through this whole process of me messing my hair up Allie has been amazing. She's has taken the time to make sure my hair was taken care of correctly and her manager Raquel made sure I was taken care of as well. This salon is amazing. She took my orange yellow hair and made me look like a natural blonde. I'm so in love with my hair. I'm telling all my friends and family to come see Allie. I'm shook at how incredible my hair looks. This is the worst spa in town. I had 40 units of Botox administered last January. Achieved less results than 20 units administered by my eye MD. It left a painful lump that lasted well beyond the minimal effects of the Botox she administered. Then I played phone tag to purchase Latisse on and off for a year. I would go in and they wouldn't have any. I would go again and no one was there to sell it to me. Then I called and played phone tag for two weeks only to be told they could not sell it to me because it was a year since I had been evaluated, oh, and of course, the nurse was not there. I still have not bought the Latisse. I will never do business with The Spa again, and I will tell anyone who asks to avoid this sorry excuse for a Spa. I would leave no stars if that was an option.  Since posting this I received a call from The Spa saying it is not them. The services I described are provided by Advanced Body and Laser who provide services at The Spa. Either way, any medical spa services provided at this location are substandard and should be avoided. I had an appointment for 2 pm today for a haircut as a new client. I arrived ten minutes early and was told I would be helped in 15 minutes. I waited until 2:30 and finally went to the receptionist to let her know I would no longer be waiting since it was now 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The stylist walks up to the desk and says oh I'll help you now. I said no, I have places to be and waiting 30 minutes is ridiculous. That is not how you treat clients, especially a potential new one. Worst customer service!The salon manager called me about an hour after I left to apologize and offer a complimentary cut. We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Spa Fig Garden Village! Our family gathered from out of town for a 'Baby Sprinkle' Day of Pampering for our new "Mommy to be". From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by the wonderful staff and guided through our day of facials, massages, pedicures and manicures. I had scheduled an appointment with Wyniece for a cut and dye. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was a dark brown to a blonde ombre and when she finished my hair I was in shock with how bad it looked. The result was orangeish patchy blonde strips of hair that looked like outgrown highlights. I told her I wasn't happy with it however I still had to pay for the cut and dye. I paid and they rescheduled me for a free session with Ashley instead. The result with Ashley came out better but it wasn't much better there was only subtle differences such as the "ombre " being more gradient. It still wasn't blond and looked like just a caramel ombre. She told me if I wanted it blonde (which is what I came in there originally for) I'd have to pay $175 for another session. I've been getting my hair cut by jessica here for 6 years now!! She does beautifully! I just had 1 bad experience where she was quite rushed because i needed a trim for my bangs. I came in for a massage and was unpleasantly surprised. I told the lady what I was looking for and instead of feeling relaxed throughout the whole massage and having my knots worked on , I felt like i was being shaken to death crossed with a breathing exercise class. I hate leaving a bad review because I come here for other services and the lady was nice, but for the cost of the massage, I feel like it was overpriced and was anything but relaxing. I did feel relaxed towards the end of the massage but that was until the very end when I was facing up. I also booked a massage for my sister, stating 1 hour for both. Had a deep tissue massage there on Saturday and it was great. The Masseuse was Carla and she was wonderful. Very sweet, attentive, gave a great massage inline with my requests in spite of being late in the day [I like a very firm massage]. I did book a repeat session in a few weeks.I gave one star off because the spa its self is getting a bit run down. The massage room was comfortable and I had no objections, but the waiting room was a little dated and the waterfall was leaking on the inside, with an irritating drop - drop - drop - drop which made the wait seem longer. At the prices they charge, I would expect that they keep things in perfect working order and keep it as lux as they try to present.I was missing a spa tub, that would be a wonderful addition, if anyone at TSHHS is listening. The sauna was a wonderful way to extend the massage and get in a bit more relaxation and the shower room was clean and tidy. All in all a wonderful experience. Truly the best relaxation message in Fresno. I came here years ago, but was disappointed they didn't have plus sized robes or towels. I tried them again earlier this year and they have fixed this. I needed only a hair-cut so I can make another appointment, go home, and head out for the long weekend. But jeez, someone needs to let her know that the high horse she is strutting on is going to knock her the F off one day. This review is for the nail salon part of it. I had a gift card, so I wanted a gel manicure. The young lady that did my nails was really nice and laid-back. One star for that, the other star is for the waiting area/entrance being very comfy and clean. The salon on the other hand is very small and crowded. My gel nails came off in one week. I didn't even get a manicure, just gel color & it was 45$. Not Worth It. I was willing to try the spa part of it later with the rest of my gift card, but now I'm skeptical. There were 12 of us and 2 flower girls, so they came to our house and set up their stations and got us all beautified! Everything went so smooth with the help of Lexie who was there as an assistant and to keep everyone on track with timing. Megan did my make up and between her, Mercy and Jenee, they had all of our make up done and our faces looking flawless. Kannon did my hair and between her, Lacy, and Alyssa they had all of our hair done looking exactly like the pictures that I brought in to Lexie. Came in for a haircut (trim) on a whim.  This is a scary thing for me as I trust the gal that does my hair but I moved, and it is way too hard to drive three hours just for a cut.  I called Hungry Hair and was scheduled for a cut with Ashley.  I was scared, very scared.  It's my hair after all.  It took me a long time to find someone I could trust it with.  Having to start all over again is overwhelming but has to be done.
