I love coming here to get my gel nails completed. I had these done yesterday and they lasted me all night long with no chipping! I informed Rose that my nails tend to chip really easily because of how rough I am on them and my line of work. She took extra steps to prime and prep the nail so chipping would not occur. I was in Fresno on a business trip, and decided to treat myself to a manicure. I saw this salon had amazing reviews and great nail art, so I dropped in. I have never been so happy with my how my nails turned out!! Rose is a phenomenal artist! I showed her a picture I got from Pinterest and she created it with no hesitation!! This is after over a week of outgrow and you can barely tell! Kim was the one doing my nails and she did an amazing job! She also was very friendly and made pleasant conversation while she worked, instead of just sitting in awkward silence. They even got me in last minute! If you are fearful of departing from your current mediocre nail salon, take the leap, and come here! I cannot recommend this salon enough. I typically schedule my gel manicures with Kim, the manager, and she is fantastic. You can tell she truly cares about you walking out with a quality product. I usually schedule gel pedicures with whoever is available, and not once have I been disappointed with my experience. All employees here are top notch. I typically come to the salon week nights and can attest that the support staff and nail techs here goes above and beyond to try and get everyone in that calls/walks in, while not rushing the quality of their current client's nail services. I highly recommend scheduling your services ahead of time, however, because this is such an awesome salon, they are busy! My only suggestion is that I wish the support staff (non-nail techs) received part of the tips acquired. They help out tremendously with scheduling and preparation of services. I was a walk in and the job that Jenny did on my hands and Vera did on my feet was unlike any experience I've ever had in San Diego! They were very attentive to my requests and extremely personable. Kim is an excellent business proprietor. Her girls do a really good job and they are conscientious of the amount of time it takes in order to get your services done. Continually amazed at the cleanliness of the shop. They bag their feet basins between each customer you can tell that they change instruments for each customer the bathroom is even most of the time 100% clean. Their employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to try and get two operators to do your services like if you do your hands and your toes they almost always accommodate you by giving you to do your hands and someone get your toes. The atmosphere between the employees is a friendly atmosphere and you can tell that these girls really like working with each other. I always get my nails done here with Kim. She's great. She takes her time with your nails and makes sure she gives you the nails you want to leave with. Especially if you are picky with the shape or you want her to fix something that does not feel right, she will provide you that excellent customer service. Kim is someone you can trust with your nails.I came in as a walk-in, hoping to see Kim. I was told Kim doesn't work on Monday's, so I saw someone else. I went in for acrylic removal and with a new full set. I had one girl remove my acrylic and then a different girl continue to remove the acrylic and give me a full set. The girl who was attempting to remove the acrylic set I had before, gave me two cuts on my right ring finger while using the drill tool to remove the acrylic. I'm sure it was on accident but still shouldn't leave the salon with two cuts on my finger. The second girl Song, who did my nails, did a good job. But my ring finger with the cuts stung during the whole process.One thing I do not agree with is when people wear their earphones while they do people's nails. My mom came with me when I got my nails done with Kim. Kim did a great job and she's the reason why I always come back. While I had my appointment, my mom was a walk-in and had a manicure & pedicure done at the same time. I do not remember her name but the one doing the pedicure was on her phone with her earphones on. I could hear her music blasting so loud that I knew what song she was listening to through her earphones. Eventually, she made a phone call to her children's school about a parent student meeting. I understand those are priorities that need to be done but not during your main priority which is work and focusing on your job, helping customers. Because this is long over due...I called heavenly one day for same day appointment. I was heading to Madrid the next morning and my nails were in crisis! (Little boy nails) Alyssa saved the day and my wine pictures came out fab  but needless to say ever since I moved I've appreciated her even more the amazing work she did every time. Hidden gem next to pampered pets grooming and behind Denny's restaurant. Diverse staff, clean establishment, friendly, and non-rushed service. The pricing is fair and the quality is outstanding. They gently removed my acrylic nails to keep them from becoming extra thin which was my biggest concern. I popped in here on a Friday afternoon for a manicure. Chancing my luck, really, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn they could fit me in right away.I was seated with Jen within a few minutes and she set to work on a regular manicure for me. I like my natural nails so I asked for a full service with regular polish, French tips. The cashier checked whether I wanted any specific colors before I sat down, too. Jen did a great job on my nails and cuticles, getting the shape just right and taking her time to make sure both hands were even. My cuticles can be really sensitive and she managed not to cut them or make them bleed - which is a rarity for me! She also did a quick hand massage with lotion. We chatted a little and I read on my Kindle for a bit.The French tips turned out great - they look really even and have lasted great for the first few days. She also added a third top coat to make sure everything set properly before adding a little cuticle oil. I think I was her last client of the day but I didn't feel that she was rushing and she took good care double and triple-checking that everything looked even. For $20 I was really happy with the final product.The salon is clean and it was busy. A little cramped for space in the lobby area, but it didn't get too loud despite being quite full. They prefer cash for tips and were happy to give me some change out of a $20 note. All in all, I'm pleased with the service here and will be back. Read Less

I was searching for a new nail tech when I googled freeform nails. Yelp directed me to several places, I read the reviews and opted for Alyssa at this salon.I am a veteran nail tech so I know alot of the in and outs of freeform nails and I must say, "She did an awwesome job". I had been going to Heavenly Nails here and there only for special occasions to get acrylic. Jen and Kim have done them and always did an awesome job! Now I've been going but to get gel nail manicures and Alyssa did a great job and my gel lasted for 5 weeks with very little chipping and my real nails were long! My toes done by Susie also have lasted a really long time. But today, I want to give a big shout out to Vera for saving my nails!  I broke my actual nail on my car door and she was able to fix it and still keep my nails long! Thank you so much! Decided to pamper myself with a pedicure today because I'm on my feet all day and I don't have time to make them look cute. I LOVED the service I received. I feel awful that I can't remember the lady's name that did my nails, but she was very thorough, professional, and sweet. I liked her and the results so much I booked an appointment for 2 weeks from now. The chairs are great too, fits plus size (me) comfortably, and they have a remote with various massage options. I was very excited to try this place based on previous reviews. Was able to get right in at 10:30 am on a Saturday with no appointment woohoo! (Go me). Nice selection of polish, place was clean and current. Pedi chairs in great shape. Wonderful receptionist. The first thing I noticed was absolute quietness. No music, no soft bubbling brook, no chatter with patrons , and all non-busy technicians were on their cell phones. The next thing I noticed was they used large shower caps as liners in the pedi bowl ( not a bad idea) , but because of that the spa effect couldn't be used ( and no foot soak was added to water-which means no sterilization was used) take that as you will. The tech was very diligent and took great care to prune my nails beautifully. Nice paint job too. Unfortunately that is all I can say positive. The attention taken on rough and dry skin was non existent, the massage was simply rubbing lotion on my legs. There was no conversation as she didn't speak English. She was annoyed that I had the message chair on so she turned it off . Now I have to say, my daughter was enjoying a pedicure at the same time and her experience was no where near mine. Not worth my money. There was a cat just roaming back and forth in the place. The lady didn't wash her hands when she touched the cat and clients hands. It was the quickest pedicure ever with no real scrubbing. It was basic cut, 2 second scrubbing, polish and that was it. I wasted my money on this place. you couldn't even tell I got a pedi. Without a doubt the best nail salon I have been to! I decided to check this place out based on all of the positive reviews and am SO glad I did. I went in today for a free form acrylic since I really don't like the way fake tips but wanted something to shape and strengthen my nails. Alyssa did a great job and I am so pleased with her work -- she took the time to listen to my needs and was very articulate with her work. The salon was clean and all of the staff was very friendly :) I am so excited to FINALLY find a nail place in Fresno after moving back over a year and a half ago.
