This was my first time coming here and I have no complaints. I don't usually get nails done, but my friend and I made an appt on Sunday for the same day and they took us just fine. We both got full set acrylics and were extremely happy with the service, price, and atmosphere. Went in as a walk in for a new set of nails and a pedicure. T gave me the best pedicure I've ever had, she noticed little issues that no one else has ever noticed and took care of it. My other girl removed my old nails and put on a brand new set super fast. My new nails are absolutely beautiful!!! The act that both girls did was absolutely beautiful. Thank you!!! I went in as a walk in with my daughter for pedis and a full set for myself. They took us in right away. They were very polite. The salon looked very clean and sanitary. We had one of the best pedis yet. I love that they make sure you approve of everything before taking their next step. The young ladies worked very efficiently and worked as a team. I Googled the best nail salon in Fresno and I am so glad I did. Not only did I go there on a Sunday with no appointment at noon but I had to have my nails soaked off for 45 minutes because of the bad job the last nail salon had done. They had turned yellow in the Sun. They used a different technique on me that actually makes my nails feel better and the clean job that Amy did was amazing. I had a good experience here, but I'm a little mixed on whether to return.First off the staff are friendly, I went in on a quiet Monday and they spoke to me right away and were ready for me as a walk-in within about 5 minutes. My nail tech was chatty and friendly, established what I wanted and made small talk. One thing I wasn't happy about was that she didn't use a sealed nail file, but a dirty old one that was pretty much entirely white. Not hygienic. Which surprised me since so many of the reviews here praised the place for its cleanliness.The manicure itself came out well. My cuticles are really sensitive and tend to bleed if the nail tech isn't gentle. I mentioned that when she started on cuticle work - though afterwards I thought she could have trimmed them a little more. There was one air bubble on my right thumb, too. Other than that she did a good job, I was happy with how my French tips came out. At the end she put on some lotion and gave me a quick hand massage. It came to $30 before tip.So here's the thing that puts me off returning - when the payment came off my card they'd added on $2... I'm less annoyed about the money and more annoyed at the cheek of this. This has never happened to me before and strikes me as kinda shady and dishonest. I probably would have come back if this hadn't happened so, on balance, I'm not sure how I feel about this place.
