I have no  right vocabulary to describe this "AWESOME " place. KIM was the one who took care of me and I felt like in heaven. I whis yelp can offer more stars to describe my experience with her. She started turning on the massage chair and almost felt asleep while she worked on my pedicure. I even got a great feet massage. It was great to stop by and absolutely recommend to any one who wants to be treated with kindness and respect while getting a service in a such a friendly nails shop. I had a great experience at Lisa Nail today. I called in for a last minute appointment and lucky for me, Lisa was able to squeeze me in for a gel manicure. She was very sweet and very detailed during the service. Even though it was a simple gel manicure, she took great care when taking off my previous gel manicure, cutting and filing my nails, trimming my cuticles, and applying the nail polish. While applying the polish she got as close to the edge of my cuticles as possible so that the gel would last longer when my nails grow out. This place on the outside looked really sketchy, but on the inside it was really nice. I came here to do acrylic nails so I called a day before to make an appointment. Even though I came 30 minutes early, they still sat me down right away and started to do my nails. The overall process took about 1 hour and 20 minutes and the lady who did my nails was so nice and started a conversation with me. I was really really indecisive about my nails, but she managed to do something really nice with what I had in mind. She put it on super neat and really close to the cuticles, but not on them. I loved the nail shape and color. Although it's $25 for acrylics, she charged me $35? Not sure why but it might be because of the extra sparkles. I had an amazing experience here. The entire staff was warm and friendly and extremely accommodating to all of my requests (I got an acrylic set and basic pedicure). They did a detailed and thorough job and I had no problems getting an appointment. This was by far the best pedicure ever! Kim is great, and very friendly.  The place is very clean,  and they take their time to make sure you leave happy. Love my gel mani from Lisa. She was really accommodating. I came in about fourty minutes before they closed and the owner, Lisa, did my gel mani herself. She didn't rush it through it and kept working ten minutes after closing. She also was really sweet and added glitter to two of my nails for free! Also her prices are very fair (gel mani under $25). Definitely recommend her. Also this color is Island Oasis (I think #438) and perfect for summer! Definitely new Fremont nail spot. Read Less

I have been to Lisa Nails for many years and like the work that Tony does on my nails and how Kim does my pedicure.  Too make things easier for themselves, instead of washing the pedicure tubs attached to the chairs, like they use to, they put plastics liners then throw it away.  Saves time and customers do not have to wait for them to clean the tubs. They sanitize the equipment after use. My husband likes how his pedicure feels after he gets it done.  The staff there are very friendly. Read Less

I came in for shellac removal. You get what you pay for. I didn't want to buy acetone and do it myself since I get my nails done twice in a decade lmao. I called around and this place was the cheapest, $5 so why not. Given that I came on a weekday morning when school was still in session, there was no wait. The staff explained that other places probably charge more because they'd trim my nails and make everything look nice. But today I'm only paying to get it removed. She tried to convince me to pay for $18 worth of treatment to look nice and natural LOL. IMIG? But no thanks! The staff seemed distracted and greeted everyone who entered the salon and kept conversing with her coworker. When she was done, I noticed that there were still gel bits on the tips but...forget it. If you think this is an awesome job, why bother continuing the service. ...............................I just remembered that when I researched how to remove shellac, most sites say to place my fingernails in acetone for 10-15 minutes and it'll slip off. The staff only wrapped acetone on me for 5 minutes...probably why it took so much effort to chisel it off? Read Less

I've been a regular at Lisa Nails for the past half a year. I highly recommend their deluxe pedicure, and I've never been to a salon that has given such thorough leg massages. I absolutely love Lisa's acrylic manicures, she definitely spends her time making sure it is thin and even, and the shape is perfect. Kim, Tony, and Cathy are all very sweet and kind (and Lisa reminds me of a stern schoolteacher who is soft on the inside), and I don't get the catty vibes that I've experienced at other salons, and that makes me happy to be a returning customer. This is hands down the worst manicure I've ever had. I was sat a station that hadn't been cleaned, nail trimming everywhere. The grooming part of the services went fine, however when the painting process began, everything went wrong. There was no base coat used. He would paint over hair/fuzz that had stuck to my nail. I'm pretty picky about the sides of my nails being paints, so I always let my manicurist know that before they paint the second coat so that care is taken to paint them. I had to ask that EVERY nail be painted. And then the top coat didn't even give a nice finish. He offered to fix them, but I couldn't bare to struggle through another awful manicure. Read Less

I went in for my first time based off the good reviews here Yelp.I liked how nice Kim was and how she carefully worked on my nails. No rushing like the previous nail salon I had gone to. I came on my lunch break (an hour) to get my nails done, starts off ok. They switched people for whatever reason, so I got moved stations. Which isn't terrible, but not as relaxing as I anticipated. Then I have a cut on my finger I warned him plenty of times & he cut pressing it (like bro that shit hurts). He added about 5 layers of gel polish, then tried to put the alcohol on at the end to remove the excess gel, which didn't work. So he had to add yet ANOTHER coat of polish it to make sure that it didn't have the little bubbles that were previously there. Overall I wasn't happy that I paid $31 for a fucking fill!!!
