This place is clean and honest what more do you need?  My last nail salon place was nickel and diming me too death.  Don't you hate when you come get a relaxing ManiPedi and they charge you $5 for a scrub and $5 for a longer massage and you have to deflect a gazillion sales pitches as you try to enjoy yourself?  I do.  I just want to get my nails done and leave and this place was amazing.   They take their time with you without chatting you up and trying to double what you came to pay for.  I found it on Yelp and I'm happy.  Thanks for the amazing massage too.  I will be back with my friends. I was recommended by a coworker of mine, as she comes all the way from Pasadena (yes through all that traffic) to come to this place! It is so worth it! The place is very clean and welcoming! This family run business is the best balance between great service and great value. I got a gel french pedicure and the dipping powder natural pink on my nails. The nail technicians here are detail oriented and they are very skilled. No chipping and still shiny even after wearing close-toed work shoes all day! Really great place and the staff are so nice, sweet and attentive! Came here after having gone to another nail salon that I was very disappointed with. I will start off by saying the only reason I am giving two stars is because the people here are so very nice but I would give no stars to the work done that I payed $83.00 for +$10.00tip because I will never go anywhere and not tip for a service unless a person is terribly rude. Now let me tell you I have never spent that kind of money on nails with no design or anything. I went in for a manicure (gel builder as they called it) and pedicure. Upon asking for a regular pedicure they lady kindly said I should really get rid of the dead skin on my feet and how it's not good for me. Feeling good about the day I said sure ok and she explained it was only $5 more so I'm assuming no more than $30 maybe $33 for my pedicure. When it was done the lady already started on my nails (no one wears name tags and when I asked what her name was I couldn't understand her as she mumbled that). While she was doing my nails I was trying to touch the bottom of my foot because it felt like the towel was sticking to my foot but the lady doing my nails said I shouldn't touch anything because she thinks I will mess them up. The lady doing my feet also hurt me cutting my nails multiple times and I had to ask her to be a little more soft with my nails as it felt like she was ripping skin. So I leave and drive home the second I get in bed my feet are catching my blanket. I got up and rubbed the bottom of my feet and it feels like sand paper. I've been putting lotion on my feet for two days now trying to restore some softness to my skin because their products dried my skin and whatever she used to scrub my feet now has them feeling like sand paper. Now for my nails, yes I know gel builder is more expensive but the job done was very poor compared to what I have experienced in the past for this price I am very confused. $50 I'm assuming I payed, plus a $10 tip. My thumb has a hump that doesn't happen on my natural nail and when I mentioned it she said most people have that hump in their nails (well I don't). Every finger is shaped a little different, I asked for a coffin shape and yes individually my nails look coffin shaped but all are different sizes, I don't know if it's just because I've seen better but I was very upset because most people take pride in their nail shaping as it is a big deal to most people. My natura nail is peeking through the bottom as if she didn't drag the gel down enough and to top it all off I left with nail polish on my hands around my nails because she didn't clean them well (I was going on a dinner date with my husband and cleaned them as I was in a hurry to get ready when I got home. Now I am not saying the price is that bad but the work put into my nails was very careless and that is something I didn't expect from a place that has so many positive ratings. Three of my nails look not straight, my thumb is messed up beyond fixing (I would need to get the nail off and redone, and my feel feel awful even after two days and lots of lotion. Thought i would try out this place because of the reviews so i called and made an appt for 5. Walked in , and not one person greeted me or acknowledged that i was there! Not one! I sat there for about 3 or 4 minutes and waited for somebody to say "i'll be right with you" but still nothing. Some people stared at me like i was a ghost or an alien . Teresa and her family are the best! I used to be a nail salon hopper, but I finally found the perfect salon. They are welcoming and have a homey ambiance. It's a small boutique-like salon, so there aren't many nail techs. However, all the nail techs do an excellent job, so it doesn't matter who ends up working with you! Even though I always go by myself, PNS knows my sisters and friends since I referred them and they now go here regularly too. It was my first time at this nail salon and Cindy was the one who did my acrylics. She went into detail and did it the way I wanted! Price is reasonable for how much effort she puts in. First time here because I'm just around LA for the weekend and i literally wish that this salon was near home. I come in and these workers are honestly the most generous people ever. They welcome you, which was very surprising because compared to other places, they just stare at you as if you're the one that's suppose to say "welcome to my store, how can I help you". What I love about this place is that they take their time on cleaning your nails and also making sure you're satisfied. Not only that, they talk to you in a way where you feel so welcomed! definitely coming back here if I ever visit LA again, but I highly recommend this place knowing I go to a lot of nail salons. My old nail salon was getting lazy but, I was hesitant to switch it up since it's all I've known for the last 3 years...until I saw the reviews on this place and the convenience of it being on the way home from work. This was my first time here and I made an appointment with Teresa because of all her rave reviews. She did not disappoint! My nails look beautiful! I stumbled upon this salon in a small strip mall while visiting a friend in the area.  Figuring I had enough time to kill before heading home and the fact that I hadn't had my nails done in Fountain Valley (a city my friends have lovingly dubbed the "nail salon capital of the OC")..Giirl, I decided to take my chances and get my nails did.I was greeted by Jimmy, who was with another customer, but Jackie jumped into action and welcomed me with a big smile.  I wanted a mani/pedi.Compared to other nail salons I have been to, Foxy's selection of nail polish seemed a bit lacking.  I felt there could've been a wider variety of colors instead of the shimmery shades of reds, purples, pinks, and whites. -1 star.  Jackie was very pleasant and meticulous.  As a product of that, the mani/pedi session took about 1 hr and 20 minutes.  My feet were baby smooth with all my little piggies painted.  The manicure was very nice as expected.  HOWEVER, unlike what I've experienced at other nail salons, my manicure was not done while I was seated in the massage chair having my toes done.  After my pedicure was finished, I had to walk barefoot to have my manicure done at the table across from the chair.  I am a huge germophobe, and I thought that was pretty disgusting.  -1 star.  I understand that I don't know the dynamics of what the salon would be like on a busy day.  Maybe it's a slow day and they're short-staffed and couldn't do my hands and feet at the same time.  Who knows?  Jackie was understanding and placed a towel under my bare feet. Eeew, germs!All in all, SWEET deal. $26 for a regular mani/pedi.  I really liked that Jackie had me pay before she painted my fingernails just so I wouldn't  have to risk smudging the polish while reaching into my wallet.  That's smart THINKING AHEAD.  Freaking awesome, I must say.  Not a lot of nail salons think about that. This place is great. I've lived on the other side of Mile Square Park for 2 years and had no idea it was even here. The thing that makes this place so great is the quality of the service. The lady and gentleman that run this place are so sweet. They take their time and they are SO gentle. They don't up-sell which I love. If you can, come during the week in the afternoon.
