I was referred here by a friend. I went in about a week and half ago. When I walked in the people just looked at me and was talking to one another and did not acknowledge me.  Little did they know I understood everything they were saying... The older lady was telling the older man that my face does not look trust worthy so you should take her. Eventually the older man took me. He was very unprofessional and he did not look happy with his job. Every time he was done filing he would toss my hand. Eventually he ask me what's my nationality. He took a few guess and eventually asked me. So when he found out I was vietnamese his whole attitude  changed. He was smiling, asking me questions and making me feel welcome. Usually when I get bad service I simply just dont go back. The only reason why I'm writing this review is because I paid $35 and my nails only lasted about a week and 2 days. I'm very unsatisfied. The staff was rude and 3 of my nails popped off after 4 days ! My sister got her nails done as well and 2 of hers fell off. When I called to see if they would just fix our nails the lady was very rude and said “it’s already been too long! We can’t do it for free! We’ll charge you.” We spent over 80 dollars that day for 2 full sets !!... and just to last for 4 days ?? I do not recommend this place! Read Less

I walked in and was sat right away. Asked for Gel mani and Gel pedi and I had two older women work on me. They both did an AMAZING job. It's been awhile since I got my nails done, I'm busy with life - but today I made the exception. I am so so happy with what they accomplished. I went in for a pedi and first asked how much and was told $16 after I sat down they showed me a chart of the "specialties" they give for a pedi and turns out its actually $25 for the pedi that you are suppose to normally be provided at any other place the scrub off of dead skin and all the other qualities.. The $16 "pedi" is just trim nail and paint NOT ingrown nail removal or dead skin scrub off.. They're good they sit you down feet in the water and stick you with a chart! SMH never going back and plus I did have a ingrown nail and she got it out but after taking it out she still kept digging in my toe and left me tender on my toe !! And after painting my nails they put in my sandals and didn't put a fan on me to completely dry they put them on like as in leave already type of vibe so unprofessional if you know your job so well you should know to put a fan or let the person know about nail still wet and yes they have small selection of colors but it seems for they're favorites they have a different stash.. Honestly a bit disappointed after reading the great reviews on here . My nails were crooked and totally bad paint job . Wish I took pictures to post but I had to change the color a week later cause the paint was chipping on the side already and the polish was so clumpy and so un even . I have found my go to spot. Diana is outgoing, awesome and sweet. She gets down on nails and doesn't sugar coat anything. She did my uncles nails and what he requested she delivered. I got my nails done by one of the guys and he did a great job but kept suggesting designs without giving me a price. I spent $63.00 for a full set with matte and chrome nails and my uncle got a fill in with a nail trim. They accept walk ins and appointments. I made an appointment to go with Diana. Read Less

I came in a few days ago. I got a full set and a pedi for my daughter and I. I got charged 50$ for my nails and 16$ for the pedi. I absolutely loved my nails. But someone tell me is 50$ too much?? I'd say make a appointment cause it gets packed.  This will definitely be my nail place. Read Less

Love! Love! Love! Dalena is awesome! Too bad I didn't come here sooner. I'm new to the IE, relocated from LA. I've had the hardest time finding a good nail tech and good nail shop period. I found Star Nails on Yelp, seen the reviews and recommendations about Dalena so I decided to give them a shot. I called Dalena and made an appt with her and she scheduled me with no problem. I previously had an appointment at another shop at 6pm. I got there early and when 6:30 came around I left. Plus they wanted $40. Went in two weeks ago and Dalena did an amazing job on my new set. I went in with not knowing what color or design I wanted and even after everything I seen I still didn't know what to choose they have everything and much more. I came out with chrome nails. I fell in love with them. Everyone gave me compliments. Went in today for a fill with Diana and she also did a good job. And once again I went in without an idea of what I wanted and she suggested some colors and let me tell you guys I LOVE THEM. it took me some time to find a place I like and that the nails actually last. Absolutely amazing!! Star Nails really knows eyebrows! I have eyebrows but the hair is so thin and barely visible without make up, however super sharply brows is NOT my thing... I was a little reluctant because of how dark other eyebrow tattoos are, but Star Nails technique is perfect! this was my first time coming. i got my nails done for prom and they did an amazing job. I love how they are on trend with things such as having options for "holographic" nails l, cat eye nails, and matte nails. I was there for 30 mins for a full set manicure nd my nails came out amazing! their prices are also great, i was charged for a total of $35, which compared to other places is awesome. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone. First time here. Just didn't like she didnt take me seriously i guess because i didnt give her tip. And also could tell because she was on the phone talking her language and i could understand something about a tip. didn't bother to look at her finished product. Maybe she thought i was new to getting my nails done when she asked if it was my first time. From what short conversation i had with what it seemed with owner, business is family owned with daughters as nail tech. And i dont know if anyone has ever been to a nail salon but when you say goodnight and thank you everybody says Thank you goodnight etc. Dont expect that here. He ripped my nails off and said this is how your suppose to do it... I told him no soak it.. then he said he would charge me... So torture me by ripping them off... Nails came out looking like cat nails . Rushed toward the end because I guess a regular came in ..No hand massage no lotion just left in pain . Diana is amazing at acrylics, I highly recommend her! She is very detailed oriented and quick at the same time! So happy I found to her!! I had been searching for a local nail salon in Fontana that can do good acrylics, so hard to find. The salon is clean yet small but has excellent customer service.
