Unfortunately I did a walk in and asked if they did Gel Powder. The woman lied and answered yes and showed me her gel powder colors. Turns out she didn't know how and I had to point out where she went wrong. When I did so her response was "no the powder looks different" she then stopped, called her daughter and asked her how to do it. I'm certain she did this because she told me she did. The woman attempted to correct the issue with my nails but by the end of it just kept telling me if I don't like the results she won't charge me. I can't like the results if you never complete the job and especially if you do it incorrectly. I'm sure this salon does great in other scenarios but you most certainly should not tell a customer you know how to use a certain product if you do not know how to do so. I will get this gel removed and redone at another salon and hopefully this won't happen again. Read Less

This is the first time I've been to Forever Nails and Ahn took care of me. She did the best acrylic/gel stiletto manicure that I've ever had. I needed my nails done urgently because it was the morning of my cousins graduation and we were having a party. I called the store at 9:50am and was quoted $30 for a full set french tip acrylic which isn't to bad price wise in my opinion. I asked if I could come in today to get them done and Anh said probably not until 1pm. I told her that I wouldn't be able to do it that late, and was disappointed because that meant I would have to find a different shop to get my nails done at. She then told me that I could come in at 10:20 and she could do them for me. Excited I headed over to the nail salon right after my workout and was eager to get my nails done. We sat there talking while she was doing my nails, but she was rushing pretty hard. She kept telling me that she had an appointment that was supposed to be there at 11am and asked if it would be okay if I could come back after that one (if we didn't finish the full set) kind of appalled that someone would ask a customer to leave and come back to finish their nails, I acted nonchalant and said that wouldn't be a problem.  Still she rushed vigorously to try and finish my nails in time, even though her 11 o'clock appointment never showed up. I left with pretty mediocre nails and had to tidy them up when I got home. There was fiberglass all around my cuticles, under my nails, and white nail polish from the painted french tip on the tips of my fingers and under my nails, something a 5th grader would do. From the top they looked decent, minus the excess acrylic around my cuticles, but underneath was pathetic. I didn't even want to take a picture to post because it was sad. I am thankful she took me on such short notice but am greatly disappointed not only because you should say you can deliver something if you're going to be too rushed, but also because I was hoping I would really like this place after the reviews I saw. Overall the acrylic application looks great no lifting or anything and they hold really well, and not too thick (minus the cuticles that I had to clean up) it looks real, even my boyfriend thinks they look real, and they aren't super thick, but the rushing, sloppy clean-up of the nails and insisting I come back later if she couldn't finish ruined it for me.Personally I won't be returning unless it's a last resort. The BEST manicure and pedicure I've EVER gotten! I cannot say enough GREAT things about this location! It's conveniently located right next to the dmv, which is less than 5 minutes from my home! Today was my first visit, Marianne did my manicure while Anh did my pedicure. Anh and Marianne are an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL mother-daughter team with the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've EVER received!!!! I'm usually pretty quiet and have difficulty understanding questions asked at other nail salons but NOT today! Anh and Marianne kept our conversation flowing, were incredibly easy to open up to, and chat with! I really appreciate the time Marianne spent getting to know me today as a first time client.Anh and Marianne spend a little extra time making sure that your nails are PERFECT and that you leave COMPLETELY satisfied! The A+++ customer service that they provide shows that they truly care about EACH AND EVERY client! I HIGHLY recommend this location to EVERYONE! Ahn (Ann) does an amazing job! Her nails don't lift and they are not too thick. I like my nails to look and feel as natural as they can, and she does exactly that. Love this place! Best most attentive nail salon I've been in a long time. Mother daughter team that really treat their customers great. They do excellent work and I always have a great experience. I appreciate that they won't overbooked and if they don't have room they'll book an appointment when they can give you full attention. Great selection of colors, very skilled technique and clean tools. Also very reasonably priced. I'm always willing to pay a little more for great experience and great work. Wow, Wow, Wow. I wish I could give Forever Nails 10 stars for their fabulous customer service. I have NEVER been treated so kindly by a nail salon. I took my 12 yr daughter and 3 of her friends in to get manicures for her birthday. I was a little skeptical at first, thinking when we got there, we would have to wait (even though I made an appt), but nope, they were already waiting for us. They interacted with the girls and were patient when they were being pre-teens and moving around the shop. Marianne did awesome designs on each of the girls, and both Ann and Marianne took their time on the girls manicures. I'm so glad I checked the Yelp reviews on this place, otherwise I would have probably ended up at another salon with little or no customer service. The cherry on top is there prices. A friend and I just wanted to have basic pedicure and manicure done. We drove through Folsom and picked "Forever Nails" Ann and one of the other ladies did our services. Both the ladies spoke English and we shared a discussion on the election that had just taken place. The chairs are new the shop was very clean and we came away with new fall colors at a competitive price. Very happy - we will be going back and as you can see I will be telling others to use them.
