I did a waxing and it was horrible. The way person did, was very clear that either she hasn't handled a customer for waxing from long time, or that's the way they follow. Most of time, she was just peeling off hair on skin from previously used wax remains on used tissue. It was painful and a real bad experience. To add on, I have ended up with a very bad rashes on arms which is itchy and painful. I have been taking waxing services for now more than 10 years and this is first time ever such a bad experience. I just had my first pedicure with Mary and it was wonderful! They offer a variety of pedicures but, I opted for the basic ($25) and it was fantastic. I'm extremely particular and very very pleased. I've finally found my new "Nail Home". I'm the pickiest person I know when it comes to my nails - ok when it comes to most anything. Today's experience is the best one I've had at any nail salon in a loooong time. Since my Vietnamese language skills are zero, it is important that the manicurist be able to communicate with more than a nod or a point. Everyone here seems to speak fairly good English 😁. The salon is CLEAN 😁! My manicurist understood I didn't want thick and fat nails. It's cool if that's your thing, it's just not mine. By the way, I was told I should ask for "coffin" ⚰️ shape. First time in and was very impressed. They were pretty busy with pedicures but I got sat for my dipping powder manicure right away and my two friends got seated in the pedicure chairs right after me. They have a huge selection of dipping powders and gel colors. All of the staff was super friendly and seemed to be genuinely happy. I got the lemon drop pedicure which was fabulous. They do powder dip nails. It was my first time trying it out having been curious for a while. I had a really friendly girl named Lynn who did mine and I am very happy with my results. She listened to what I wanted and worked closely with me, took her time to understand the design I wanted, and answered my questions when I was curious. I'm definitely going back. Wow! The best powder dip manicure I have ever received.  Was it a fluke?  My daughter also had a powder dip manicure and it was perfect as well!I especially like the selection of dip colors, the attention to detail and the cleanliness of this salon.Anna took her time to complete my manicure and loved that she went the extra step to clean up my cuticles and apply oil with light hand Massage after.My daughter had Lynn and she was wonderful.  My daughter is very nervous when the electric file is being used and Lynn took extra time and caution to calm her nerves.Sadly I do not remember the names of the two ladies that performed our pedicures but have to say they were incredible as well.  Beautiful nail art and done so quickly.  They also offer holographic gel nail styles in tons of different colors.Will be making this my new home salon!!! I have been searching for a place to get my nails done since my go to place (Style Nails) changed ownership. Essence is clean, the ladies are so friendly, and they do quality work. I have only seen Hannah to do my nails and I got a full set. It lasted 3 weeks with no lifting! All the ladies help pick out a color that works for you and are ok with whatever you decide. Shape, style, etc. (I say that because sometimes you go places and you tell them you want something and they say "this will look better") They have a variety of pedicures ranging from $25-$43. My sister and I had a phenomenal experience here! Incredibly clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. We don't get our nails done very often, so we don't always know the right words to use, or what products we want to use. Polish, Gel, Powder? They have it all! Ok where to begin... first off I know I made a mistake by going on Memorial Day, but my family was trying to do something nice for me while a surprise birthday party was being put together that day. BUT, when I have an appointment and then am not seen until an hour and a half later because the nail lady "thought I wasn't going to show up" so she took another client instead, is ridiculous!!! STRIKE ONE...Then, there were only three people working and they had to turn away several clients because she said they're too busy. But while sitting there waiting for me to be seen, another one of their workers showed up and had his girlfriend with him. Did he help anyone waiting? NO! He proceeded to do his girlfriend's nails instead!!! STRIKE TWO!!!Then finally the lady takes me back to the back and puts me in this torn up, broken chair at the pedicure station and says "what are you doing today?" After waiting almost two hours and still haven't gotten anything done... I was frustrated (and I had my baby at home so I couldn't be gone forever as he is exclusively breastfeeding)... I was unable to get the SPA EXPERIENCE I was hoping for and could NOT get the mani pedi combo!!! I ended up just having her remove my calluses from my feet and giving me a very basic manicure... Well.... their idea of removing calluses was to use one of their manicure grinders (which I could tell had been used before-unsanitary) to remove my calluses. (She charged me $10 to do that and it wasn't even that good) She didn't even try to use the creams or gels they use and a scrubber... STRIKE THREETHEN... she proceeded to give me my BASIC manicure which consisted of ripping off my cuticles, painting my nails with gel and giving me a half assed massage with some not good smelling lotion and then said "all done!" She didn't try to smile or hold a conversation with me (not that she could, she didn't speak any English). STRIKE FOUR!!! The only thing that saved the day was that she actually can draw straight lines and a good heart on my nails. Total cost: too much $50and four hours!!! Thanks for the terrible experience... Overall, the place was filthy, the staff was rude, and the customer service was mediocre... I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

In my 30 years, this is hands down the BEST place I've been!! I got a manicure and the Green Tea pedicure with gel polish! Perfection! The most sanitary nail salon I've ever been to!!!!! EVER!!!!!! The energy and the employees attitudes and customer service waa the utmost and very positive. Will definitely be my place from now on. Tbh, this might be one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. I brought my mom with me to get mani-pedis because she hasn't been feeling well and I'm so glad I did. The girls who did our nails were so sweet and engaging. My mom had expressed to them how she had been feeling sick and how relaxed she felt while getting the foot massage. Her nail lady, Ling, responded by extending her massage for several minutes. I thought that was so kind of her to do for my mom. Their leg massages were already awesome but to not rush through them like many other salons do in addition to already adding on time left a really good impression on me. Furthermore, I've found that when I tell businesses that I have a Groupon or that I am a Yelp user and therefore can redeem some sort of deal if I check in, many workers are dismissive or they make up something about how it's only redeemable on weekdays or it's expired now. They make you feel like an inconvenience and don't care as much about pleasing you as a customer because they don't make as much money when you have a coupon or some sort of deal. However, we told Ling we had a coupon, she seemed almost excited for us and happily applied the discount. It was so cute. They were very receptive, accommodating, and calm. They also offered us water which I thought was nice. We all got along very well and my mom agrees that it's one of the best salons we've been to.
