My first time there yesterday and never going back. The skinny lady with glasses that helped me was sooo rude! My French tip pedicure came out horrible and must've been done in old polish because it never dried and smudged bad hours later. Also the water was cold and she scrubbed and rubbed my feet for like 2 seconds. She also started painting my fingernails in a color that didn't match the one I picked and got mad at me for pointing it out. There's a difference between dark purple and blue!! She ended up kicking me out of her spot to go with another lady like if I was too hard to deal with and was talking crap in her language. I live in town and have always gone to Moorpark or the valley because I am super super picky. I decided to save myself some time and give the salon in town a shot and I was super impressed with my gels and pedi. For me, my cuticles are important and the neatness of the polish. I returned and was hesitant because the woman I wanted again was busy, come to find the second manicurist I had was just as good if not better. I took a break and returned to have a third person do my nails and I loved her too. 3/3 people I've seen have been amazing  any negative reviews sounds like people who don't get regular work done or would be unhappy no matter where they go. I have been coming here regularly (once every 2 weeks) for about a year since moving back to Fillmore and I used to visit when I lived in town 5 years ago. I've never had any problems at this salon and the ladies do a good job, they also have a good selection of gel polish. Read Less

By far the worst customer service. Would never go there again! Walked in was given attitude by the owner of manager. Was there 2 months ago and my toe nails were peeling paper thin. I asked to put an acrylic on. They refused service to me said I never went to them and this looks like a year old injury????? I was disgusted they even argued with me. Then they looked at my fingers as I do dishes all day every day and they said aw you have to many hang nails to do a gel manicure. I said you are the ones who did this to my nails. They kept argueing with me. They started talking crap about me in Vietnamese. Wow. I said I was completely affended because I know that language. There attitude changed right away. But they still said they never did a pedicure on me. Which is a complete lie. They said I must have injured my toe. I want to know the owner of all the Fancy Nails. I used to love coming here to get my nails done all the time but recently the poor work on nails is showing. Before my nails would last me a full month before i had to get my fill now im lucky if they even stay on for a full week. Helen the owner does a great job tho. DO NOT GO HERE!!! By far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I have gone here about 4 times, hoping that the service and quality of nails gets better, IT HAS NOT!! The technicians are rude and give inaccurate wait times, when asking about wait they get upset and say another 15 mins. Don't waste your time only nail salon in Fillmore and they don't need to provide good customer service. I've lived here for a year and this is the only business in town that has horrible customer service. I always make an appointment and wait forever anyway today was last time.Every chair full waiting and some over an hour. I left after waiting half hour after my appointment no end in sight. Don't go here! Rude nail techs!!! Horrible customer service and overcharge! I was charged $17 for a nail polish change and told that maybe I should go back to LA , where I'm from to get charged cheaper. WOW!!! Never again! Don't go here! They even open their shop 10 min late!!! 5 ladies were waiting outside and said its "normal" for them to open late....this shop should be closed down or get a whole new team of PROFESSIONAL nail techs. Have gone to Lillian twice now, she is a very kind and helpful nail technician.  She treats me very well and is eager to make me content with her service.  The woman that answers the phone may be the owner and has been pleasant on the phone to me twice as well, she sits by the front desk.  Will be taking Lillian some oranges from our garden soon, she's that sweet! This place is horrible! I don't believe the nail techs are properly trained.  I was replacing a set of Nails and they just ripped them off without soaking or taking time to remove them carefully.  Instead she ended up ripping and causing bleeding from 8 of the acrylics she removed!!  I did not allow them to replace the set.  I then started going in for pedicures and for the most part I was very happy until my last visit.  The young lady was trimming my nails and chose to rip out what could potentially turn into an ingrown.  She ripped it completely out,  I bled and had a swollen toe that I had problems walking on for weeks!  I now drive to Ventura and the first words out of my nail tech was "who did this to your toe"  I was informed that if she would of just clipped the tip instead of ripping the nail out it would have been fine. Went in for new tips, ugly, awful job!  When trimming my nails the lady cut my skin & I bled.  Went back after a month for removal, the lady split my pinky nail. This is after I told her we should soak them.  That time rose from my chair & threw down $5 and left never to return!!  Found a nice shop in Moorpark. Read Less
