I've had better pedicures but they are nice people. When I asked about getting a design on my big toe Kim seemed like she didn't want to do it because she was trying to talk me out of it by saying that it wouldn't be a good contrast of colors. To me it was enough contrast but she insisted that it wouldn't be. Mind you that the base color was medium blue and the design color was going to be white. When you're trying to talk me out of something I want and that you say you offer, it comes across as you are being lazy and not wanting to do your job or your not confident in your abilities to do the job. This is my go to spot now for my nails. Phil always hooks it up. I walk in and I'm warmly created by him and his wife Kim. I usually never have to wait long. All i have to do is show Phil a picture and he's gonna make it happen! He works very quickly and efficiently without sacrificing the quality of work. I had my first visit at MC nails about a month ago and I really enjoyed the time here, Phil and his wife were very friendly which made the time go by faster. I have to say this is the best full set I've had done while here in Fairfield. I've never had to pay extra for coffin shaped nails until I came here, but it wasn't the end of the world as the work was great. In total for a gel coffin shaped full set and gel pedicure I paid about $85. I will definitely be returning as I feel the service and quality was well worth it. Read Less

This nail salon refused service to my daughter that has Down Syndrome. I was devastated at first they thought the appointment was for me and when they found out that it was from my daughter they lied and said that they were too busy and that I should take her someplace else. I immediately went there face to face and told him how disappointed I was and that they had bad business and that they discriminated against my daughter again they lied I've also f filed with the Better Business Bureau I will never ever in life go there ever again because they discriminated against a special needs person. Very very disappointed extremely hurt and my daughter cried but there's other places that accept her she's a grown woman she can take care of herself and she is very independent so we have a very nice place that we go to and she loved Sarah and she takes good care of her but this place needs to be shut down that's what's wrong with people she is a 100% United States citizen that was born here and people that come here think that they and the fact that they can come here  and treat us bad but they just forgetting that they just got here she has been here all of her life she is a US citizen so you just paying rent here as far as I'm concerned we will never go there again if anybody is lucky you need to stop going there  drinking that water that  they're selling . I've been a customer for many years. I returned to MC Nails due to the fact that I received a gel fill in on Saturday 9/3/16 and on 9/7/16 the polish on my right thumb was half chipped off and my left thumb nail chipped. The owner attempted to charge me 26.00 for a gel polish change and to mend the chip... Not replace but mend . I'm extremely hurt by the fact that I feel this was extreme. My nails (GEL) didn't last 4 days and I'm a regular long time customer. I refused to pay 5.00 for the mending of my left thumb and told the owner the price was rediculous . Kim is super nice however she didn't do my nails. It was Phil (male). First timer here and although the hospitality was great ex: warm welcome soon as I walked through the door, offered me beverages, conversed throughout the whole visit, clean environment, mellow music, thousands of colors to choose from... The service was not so great!  Came in for a fill and fix two nails. Was told its $15. A full set is $20. Not bad price right?? The issue I have was that my nails were already shaped coffin style (which they charged me for anyways because of the the extra two nails he had to shape???) Annoying! Total charge $25. I'm not complaining about the price.. It was the quality I was more disappointed in. I'm pretty particular when it comes to my nails from the shape down to making sure each nail is fully colored, not bubbled up, etc .... So here's the outcome: The nail polish was thick and nail not fully covered with paint. Acrylic under and on the side of my nails, the edges were not smooth. I'd definitely scratch myself or my kids with these bad boys. See attached pics. Yes, I said something but I prefer to get the heck out of a place and fix it myself rather than wasting my time waiting for them to do another crappy job.It's too bad their hospitality wasn't equal to their service. I usually go to different salons outside of the city but living in Suisun city and trying out different salons made me feel skeptic about how I wanted my nails to be done. I was recommended by my client and her mother to try their go to salon. I've had a wonderful experience with this salon. My first time I was able to get gel nails fixed by Phil. I've been here on two different occasions and both times, my nails came out great bit the experience while in the nail shop was terrible. I, personally, hate getting my nails done during the weekend but I had no choice this day. I went in on a Saturday with a appointment at 4pm. I waited 30mins just to be put in the spa chair. Once I was put in the chair, I soaked my feet for a whole hour. Phil finally finished someone's hands took me out of the spa chair, took care of my nails&put me back in the spa chair. There was a whole lot of migrating going on and not enough relaxation with all the girls in the shop arguing with him about how they been waiting for to long and rushing him to finish. If you have a bad experience here, it's because the owners don't know how to handle their customers. Phil does a GREAT job with designs but this is a really busy place so be aware that it may take you up to 3-4 hours to get your nails done. This is one of the first nail salons I tried out when moving to this area. I loved them and how they always made friends with you. I still love all their work because all their staff is really talented but I stopped going because they started getting really pricey! Other than that, if your willing to spend some extra bucks I'd recommend them, nothing against their work. I have been a customer at MC nails since 2008 when the original owner "MC" was working at this location. Since Phillip and his family took over, they have really improved the place and made "MC NAILS" one of the top Nail Salons in all of Fairfield. Everyone is so sweet, the atmosphere is clean and decorated very nice for a Nail Salon. It's becoming a Salon and Spa, and I'm excited to see how much more they improve their business. Phillip is so very talented and his personality is humorous and witty! He only hires the best, and wants his staff to be able to create artistic and perfect nails and designs that are just as good as his own work. I have been going to nails by mc for 4 years now off and on. Philip has always been overly polite and professional. He does great work. Each time he does my nails I get countless compliments. He just did a SEA SHELL set for me a week ago. The very next day at work I had a customer ask to take a picture of my nails as she was leaving cuz she loved them so much. He is reasonable price wise. I have been going to Mc Nails for about 3 years now , and I can honestly say they are the best in fairfield. The owner Phil is verrrry reasonable and works with whatever prices, I do no have any bad things to say about the employees at Mc Nails. They are very SANITARY and your nails will always come out very beautiful. . I have not had to do a new set of nails in about 6 months, and even then i do not need a new set I just do it. My natural nails are very healthy and the acrylic used does not hardly lift . . So if you're in town go to Mc Nails and you'll be saticefied!! I have been going to MC nails for about a year now--Phil the owner does some very unique designs and they are pretty good--His prices were reasonable until lately.  He talks bad about his employees and his former employees while he is taking care of other customers.  He talks bad about other peoples work on a regular.  His prices have went up alot--I used to pay 60 for fill,pedicure,with designs.  On new Years eve I went in there and it took him 4hrs to do a full set and a pedicure no designs and no polish on my toes he said come back on Wednesday and I will finish. Wednesday he was not there and between fri and sun all my nails had cracked.  I wend in Wednesday for one of his other girls to fix them--however she could not do designs--then he says come back tomorrow I will do your designs for you.  I called him at 7:30pm he says come in at 8 but I have a customer so you will have to wait but come at 8 anyway.  At 8:30 I go in there and he tells me that my designs are going to cost me an extra $30.00.  Nope not this dummy I left he can keep his unique designs.  So if you want unique designs he is the guy, but you will wait several hours and get crappy nails out of it.   You will be putting a new set of nails one once a month and you will pay for it. $90.00 for full set of gel,pedicure, with design.  I will find a new nail shop Read Less
