Fabians is a exceptional restaurant! We we're overwhelmed by the quality of our meals. Farm to Fork , local, sustainable ingredients. I had ravoli with spring peas in a lemon cream sauce, melon and mozzarella in vingerette. The tiramisu was incredible!!!! Fortaleza in the same plaza ( Almond Orchard, fair oaks) Is also owned by the same people. Can't wait to try Fortaleza! This place is a hidden gem. There really aren't a ton of restaurants close Orangevale. It has a really nice, outdoor patio tucked away by plants. Food was delish, but thought the prices were a little high for what we got. Also, not really kid friendly. Better for a date night than family night. Read Less

This is a very nice spot with an amazing patio! Friendly servers, good tasting comfort food. You must try the cheese sampler tray. Also the salmon is excellent it has a nice twist with a hint of spicy but savory! Read Less

Fantastic italian specialties with decadent desserts and wine! Everything is amazing and the menu changes every so often to behold even more amazing dishes! I just discovered this restaurant as I was passing through the parking lot of this center at the NW corner of Madison & Fair Oaks Blvd (Almond Orchard?). It looked sort of cute with unbrella-covered outdoor dining, so I went in. It was lunchtime and I just wanted to grab a bite so without even looking at the menu I asked for a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It arrived fast for a nice sit-down restaurant (5 min?) and I was blown away! First of all....quality meat (I can tell) like you would find at a steak house, the cheese & onions were very tasty and the bread was incredibilly fresh. It was so good, I ate it too fast, next time I'll eat like I am suppose to and enjoy it even more. If this place can make a sandwich taste like a fine dining experience (and at a sandwich price), I have faith that dinner here may be an even bigger surprise...Can't wait. Read Less

We really want Fabian's to succeed- The locality is excellant - the size is just right - but food needs improvemnt. First time , my friend ordered meat ball sandwich - meatballs were cold , I had chicken pesto - chicken was dry. Second time , grilled cheese sandwich, absolutely no flavor , no zing to the cheese. No one ever offered refill on coffee, when I got up to get my own, girl handled the cup from the top, after she had handled money. The place wasn't crowded. They need to go to Amor's, same type set up, you order, your food is brought to the table, coffe , water, etc. are always filled. Went to the Moth Hole after, other dissastified customers there.
