I've been going to Elegant Nails for 4 years regularly. Mot Tran is the sweetest, most talented nail artist - but My, his wife & the owner, is extremely unprofessional and rude. I want to give all my business and beautiful nails credit to Mot, but My makes it difficult to keep returning. Any regular customer would understand my frusteration. She talks down to new clients, makes fun of them, fights you on your nail choice if she doesn't prefer it as her usual, etc. Very bittersweet. Read Less

I gave Elegant Nails 2 stars because of the price but they have horrible customer service! I wanted to get a third coat of polish on my nails because I could see through my nails when I went outside so I called to see if Kim was working and the lady who answered was arguing with me about it (which is the same lady who did my eyebrows)! Saying we can't do that you already did 2 coats it won't look good we can only put top coat on but next time don't ask us or you can go somewhere else! She keeps going on and on about it! I went in and she started doing the same shit again! Kim seriously put only a top coat over my nails which is not what I wanted! The lady (forgot her name she does waxing) literally said no we can't put another coat of polish. I gave them both a great tip when I first went in so I don't know why she was being so damn rude! The price can't be beat! I got a full set with gel for $27. Not only is the price amazing, but so is the customer service. Upon arriving they offered me and my friend cold water bottles. And helped me choose a "neutral" color that I liked. The man doing my nails spent time doing it. He wasn't rushing. He always asked and made sure he wasn't hurting me at all. Come here if you want some bomb nails!!I got a pedicure for the first time with my friend here and I loved it. Less than an hour we were there, the salon started filling up with ladies and it's easy to see why. The salon is clean and the prices are the best I've seen. The customer service is great and one woman was funny and also complimented my natural nails, which of course makes me as a customer grin from ear to ear.The nail technician who helped me did a lovely job. The gentleman who helped my friend worked very carefully and gave her a manicure that is easily worth twice the amount they charged. I will definitely come back to Elegant Nails :) Read Less

While visiting in the area, we made an appointment for two pedicures.  This place was quite busy with several people working and walk-ins continually.  It seems that most of the staff here do not speak English so not a lot of conversation going on, although there did seem to be a couple of 'regulars' in at the time of our visit which is reassuring.We were seated in some older stations that were not in the best physical condition, but they did have the 'back massage' option which is nice. One young woman filled the basins and we were left to soak for a bit. She returned and was working on my friend and I had an older woman.  The pedicure was just OK.  They don't give you that nice leg and foot massage that I have become accustomed to at my 'regular' place. They did give the heels a good scrubbing but I noticed they do not use any disposable items meaning who knows what is embedded on the file. The young woman cut my friends foot to a degree that she ended up with an infection.  Both these items makes me concerned as to the sterility of their equipment and the skill of their staff.My pedi looked fine, but by the next morning some of the polish was already peeling.  In three days all but 3 toes were completely bare of polish.  I chose this location based on the reviews and had high hopes but based on the quality of my experience I can not recommend this venue, at least for the pedicure. I am VERY picky with my nails and I LOVE this place. I come to visit Sacramento every few months and always make a trip here for a gel manicure. I'm NOT kidding they are the best, longest lasting manicure I've ever found. I travel a lot and have been to many places, they win. I have no clue why they charge so little. I would pay $50 for a manicure here. My lady in San Diego charges $60 and she's not near as good. It's a gem. And the service is incredible. Read Less

I got the VIP pedicure, with gel. The manicurist did a great job. My manicure looks flawless. My gel pedicure looks fun...just like I asked for. Staff were very sweet. Equipment was cleaned after each customer. Prices were terrific. They were pretty busy, so you will probably want to make an appointment. Read Less
