Gel manicure is highest price in the area and mediocre at best. Only accept cash and the employees are rude. They have an extra charge for everything. First impression was good and it seemed like a decent place so I went ahead and told them I needed a manicure and gel.  They immediately directed me to the next open tech.  So, I sat down, picked a color and she seemed very kind and warm.  Then, she began yanking my hand instead of communicating that she needed me to move it (she spoke enough English to communicate).  Then, she kept turning around to watch tv and was taking her sweet time.  I was in a time-bind but arrived with sufficient time so figured it would be fine.  I noticed I was running out of time so I said "Let's just do a regular manicure and I'll have to get the gel a different time." She immediately stopped cutting my cuticles and seemed upset.  She then started slathering lotion on me and then instructed me to wash my hands.  She became disgruntled because I told her I didn't have time but she was taking forever and I would probably have gone past an hour had I just sat there and let her keep taking her sweet time.So, I wash my hands and then return and she asks me what color and who I believe may be the owner said "no color, she return."  So she said "you return now?" And I thought more about it and said well maybe she can just do gel quickly within 10-15 minutes.  So I asked.  She said no and the other gal said yes.  So I asked "which is it, yes or no? Because she's saying no and you're saying yes."  She said well she can do it but the gal doing my nails still kept nodding and I said don't worry about it.  She told me my total 3-4 times - $15.  Okay, heard you the other times you said it.  I got cash out (because mind you, they don't accept cards/only ATM) and tipped her $5 (underserved, really) and then I jetted out.I really need to begin taking yelp reviews more serious.  Don't know that I'll give it another chance.  P.S. Horrible, horrible customer service. Went here several times, because it's close, and  convenient, but 3 times I've had my gel polish chip after a day or 2. The last time it happened I went in to the salon, showed the owner my terribly chipped nails, and she said that they would only fix the 2 that were completely peeled off, not the others that were chipped. Well, let's see.I feel so bad that I stiffed the technicians.I requested a pedicure ($25) and a gel polish change for my hands ($15). I showed them on the menu exactly what I wanted and I intended to tip $10 for a total of $50The pedicure was very good. Love the hot rocks.My nails look good.I was happy with the service. But at the end she said it was $50 for the service. So I just figured they upped the price, which happens a lot.Anyway, they are a cash only business so I used their in-house atm and took out $60.I asked for $10 back thinking that would include the tip. It wasn't until I got home and several hours later that I realised I stiffed them!Also, I checked my online banking and it appears they helped themselves to an extra $2.50. I stopped in for the first time with my daughter to get a gel mani. I see this salon had 3 stars but it was convenient to go here so I tried it. My daughter sat down and I told them she wanted a gel manicure and how much. They said full set is $35. I said full set?!? Not sure what full set meant. I told her just a gel manicure then she said $30. Then they told me to sit in two different chairs. I finally sat down and got started. My lady started to remove my powder nails (they are like acrylic). She didn't soak them, she ended up grabbing a fake nail and pushed it in between my nail and the acrylic. It was painful and I asked her why she's not soaking them. She said it's faster this way. Fine, I dealt with it. Once she got them off she started to file and shape my nails. Never asking me how I like them shape she started to shape them round. I told her I like them square she seemed very irritated that I told her that. She said your nails are too short to file square so I took the file from her and showed her what I wanted. She then got up got the warm water to start my manicure started on one hand then stopped spoke to the other girl and her language and left. The other girl who was almost done with my daughter at this point said I will finish your nails she needs to eat since she hasn't stopped to have lunch yet. Once my daughter was done I told them I ran out of time and we need to go. So now I have raw torn nails and lost the time I would've had to get my nails done. I'm already heated that at this stage the lady gets up and goes to lunch. It's time to pay, they don't accept credit card but have an ATM that charges you $1.95 to get cash out. Again, making it difficult for me to want to come back. She then tells me my total is $30 for my daughter and $10 for me. Mind you I have not even had a manicure yet. I ask her why $10 for me? She says it was to take off my acrylic. I bite my tongue because I am more than frustrated at this point and I do not want to be an ungodly woman in front of my daughter. I should've read the reviews and drove half a mile down the street to another salon that gives great manicures. In over 20 years of getting my nails done I've never had this bad of an experience and wasted my time and still had to pay for having worse nails then what I walked in with. I gave her $40 told her I would like my $10 back she refused. I left and will never return again. There are other nail salons with better reviews and I will be going to one of them tomorrow I get my nails done. I don't recommend this place unless you want bad service and unprofessional people. I had pedicure, and as the foot massage was wonderful, I give a star. Otherwise, NO stars! The tech using regular polish instead of the gel and having confusion when it didn't set was one thing, but to have to do it all over again was frustrating because she drew blood grinding off the old gel and prepping the nails the 1st time! I have scabs on 4 toes!! The polish looks very sloppy (still hasn't come off my skin around the nails). It took 2 hours of misery stuck in their dilapidated chairs! I will never go back!!! Read Less

Won't go back. Gel mani & #3 pedi.... took FOREVER! Was there over 1.5 hours. I'm ok for taking your time, but then I expect my polish to be perfect. It wasn't. My friend got her cuticle gouged, and my gel was so sloppy that I had color all over my fingers... still trying to get it off. Not a great nail color selection. Cash only- fine (there's an ATM in store). People were very nice, a few of the ladies didn't speak much English at all- made it difficult to explain what we wanted done. This lady named Karen did my nails today. And it seemed she was in a rush to get my nails done. I asked for a full set of gel acrylic nails and as soon as I sat down she rushed to get my nails done. She didn't even do a new full set, she just did a fill. Just because there was one person waiting after me. The nail paint job was sloppy. I don't recommend going here when it's busy! When I called they told me they had immediate openings. I was at the Starbucks just 100 yards away, and when I got here literally 60 seconds later, they had no openings. I waited for 30 minutes, and a lady who came in 15 minutes after I did said she was going to go somewhere else. They took her over me. My lady was VERY rough with my hands, and this had to be the most uncomfortable manicure I have ever received. These two ladies that were waiting said they were going to leave, then my lady said, "no, you stay, I'm done now." Um, hell no she wasn't done, she just wanted to get them to stay and leave me with an unfinished manicure. Well, the ladies ended up leaving, and my lady rushed through the rest of the manicure. I had a great experience here! Randomly stopped in with my friend for pedicures. Even though it was literally a minute before closing time the staff invited us in. We chose the most deluxe pedicure package which was also the longest and let me tell you they didn't try to rush or short change us to get out on a Sunday evening. We were there for over an hour and a half and they were still open to giving us more services like extra massages or manicures if we wished. They were friendly and professional. Did a great job for both of us!Their salon was very clean/sanitary and organized. Their massage chairs are a little worn but still comfortable and well maintained. It's cash only but they do have an ATM that charges a $1.50 fee. They are located in a shopping center on the corner of Sunrise and Madison Ave so there's plenty of parking and access. They also offer waxing services but I did not inquire about them.I Will be going again and will recommend Dynasty Nails to anyone interested in great Nails and service For reasonable prices. First time here and pleasantly surprised. I came on a Saturday afternoon as a walk-in and was seated right away. I chose the #1, basic pedicure and it was wonderful! This place is a scam, there ATM machine has a skimmer on there ATM machine, my card was declined (keep in mind I have plenty of money) call my bank and they advised me they declined my card because they detected there skimmer. The people were nice, but it took 2 1/2 hours for a pedicure!! Here's why... We walked in, waited about 5 minutes and sat... We chose the $45 pedi which had a "callus" remover job, hot wax, hot stone massage... The woman began my pedi and took off 1 toe nail of my polish, then told me to wait for someone else to finish.. Ok, waiting... Waiting... Cold water, my mom already getting her toe nails trimmed... Waiting... 30 min later another girl came and worked on my feet. My moms were done and she had to sit and wait another hour for mine to be finished. No cushion in the chair I was in, cold water and sore butt... Go to leave and she puts those foam shoes on me bc my sandals were too difficult .. Go to pay.. No cards??!! No signs.. Ummmm.. A 1.50$ atm fee later I pay her and she wants the slippers back?! Ok, never again. Sad thing is I haven't had a pedi for 3 years and was so excited to have my mom visit and go spoil ourselves. Bummer :( Btw: my moms skin on the side of her feet were rubbed off!!! Went in yesterday after running some errands wanting a Pedicure. I thought they closed at 7 but I guess they close at 5 on Sundays. It was around 4:30 when I walked in. The lady that greeted me was very friendly and surprisingly knew her English pretty well. She told me it would be a15 minute wait. I got a regular $25.00 Pedi. According to the reviews I just now read on here, that regular Pedi  comes with a Hot Stone Massage. The lady that gave me a Pedi for some reason gave me a regular massage. I will definitely be calling them when they open up. As I'm sitting there almost done, I see 2 different people trying to use the ATM machine located inside the Salon. One had to run out to get cash and the other one had a check book. The lady working there said that the machine  was working just fine in the morning. After everyone leaves and I'm the only client in there she opens up the ATM and puts money in there. So I try to get money out but the ATM machine was still not working so the lady asked me if I had a checkbook with me and I said no I only use credit or cash (like everyone else in todays generation) so then I go to Jamba Juice near by and figured I could get cash back but they don't do cash back so I then had to go to Raley's near by and wait in a long line just to buy one thing and get money back so I can go pay them. I had to go through All of this Trouble because they have no sign posted informing people that they do not take credit. By this point I was pissed. And told them that they should post a sign up and all the lady said was thank you.So not worth it!!! So, I'm new to the area, and I wanted to treat myself to a manicure-pedicure after a week of moving. I was running errands in this plaza and figured I would give Dynasty a shot. My pedicure was fabulous. Everything from the temperature of the water, the paint job and of course the massage and hot stones. I had a classic pedi for $25 and I was quite satisfied.My manicure experience wasn't quite as smooth. I originally wanted a very thin coat of acrylic overlay and then gel polish because polish never sticks to my nails. The color was cute but the experience was sub par. I had nicks in my cuticles, the acrylic was set very thick and the gel polish was applied very sloppily. The next day I gave them a call and told them I was dissatisfied. Without any hesitation the woman on the phone told me to drop in and they would thin out the acrylic and fix them. This simple courtesy made all the difference. I walked in. I was seen immediately. I showed them exactly the areas I wasn't happy with and immediately a woman named Trem started filing them down to perfection. I knew immediately I was in good hands. She clearly knew what she was doing and she listened to my concerns. She had an appointment come in at 4 so she sweetly handed me over to Mary who finished up the buffing and applied a seamless application of gel polish. She promised she would apply it thinly and she delivered. I think that I will definitely give them another chance but request Trem or Mary from the start. Does not accept credit cards which is all I had on me. My friend had to pay for mine with cash which was embarrassing. No signs stating they don't accept credit cards and wasn't told until I was done. $35 for a gel fill is absolutely ridiculous. The sign said $22 for a gel fill but was charged $35 for a regular fill, no designs. All of my nails are all different lengths and shapes and are very sharp. CROOKS!  I had been shopping in the area and stopped in for a holiday manicure.  They did a nice job with the manicure itself, but it is the no credit card thing that got me!   They have an ATM machine in the salon but it declined my card.  So I went next door to Trader Joes where my ATM was again declined. I then called my personal banker and he informed me they declined my debit requeset at the nail salon because a skimmer was detected.  DO NOT USE THEIR ATMDO NOT USE THIS SALON! Favorite nail place right next to Trader Joes.I've been going there for a few years. I've tried other places but i always go back. I go to Donna for gel nails. I get gel pedicures too. They are great in the summer of course because it doesn't chip and looks good for as long as 6 weeks. I go to yoga so I do them year round. My fiance's and I came in this afternoon to get mani-pedis for our anniversary tomorrow.My first thought was that the place was clean and had several spa pedicure chairs.  They were not really busy and we able to take us right away.We got spa chairs right next to each other and each had someone get started right away on our pedicures.  The woman that did my Fiance's pedicure had a scowl on her face the whole time and didnt say one word to him the entire time.  She gave him a half-assed massage and barely scrubbed his feet at all.  She didn't even offer him callus remover, which he really wanted, but he didnt know what it was called.  The guy that did my pedicure was not social at all either.  He barely scrubbed my foot and gave me a brief massage with a rock of sorts.  After he started, he handed me a menu with prices that were really high for the level of service we were getting. The cheapest pedicure was $25 and was pretty much the bare minimum.  I also got a manicure, which is decent.  I was going to get the shellac manicure, but when I asked about it, the man doing my pedicure gave me an attitude and implied that I couldn't afford the $30 manicure.My nails look "okay," which I gave them 2 stars, but the fact that either of us felt welcomed, I wont be back. I really hope this place updates their profile - they are now called Dynasty Nails, but it's the same wonderful nail salon, with even better service. The "extra special" pedicure includes a hot stone massage, which is especially delightful this chilly winter, along with a paraffin treatment, scrub, masque, lotion, massage, and some other magic that always makes me feel better when I leave. Not a bad deal for $45. Plus, they are amazingly accommodating - even enthusiastic! - when I go in with my kids, age 2.5 (girl) and 5 (boy). So much so that we now do occasional "family pedicure dates," and the kid pedicure prices ($25 for both kids, but I don't know if that's an official figure) is roughly the same cost as hiring a babysitter, and a whole lot more fun. Walk-ins are welcome, and we've never had to wait long to get settled in one of their fabulous massage chairs. And on the occasions that we *have* had to wait (rarely more than 20 mins), there's a very handy Trader Joe's, right next door! Read Less

I have been visiting this salon for 5+ years now and I am a fan "only" based on the final product.  I would recommend Lani (only) to do your pedicure...the other techs are not as good and not even close to her level of expertise...although, Lani has a bit of an attitude and is the shop manager (for lack of a better word).  She does a GREAT job but gets disrupted frequently!  The atmosphere is not the greatest and they do not use new tools everytime, they use the standard disinfecting solutions as most salons, I choose to bring my own tools....JUST a preference...Good price for a pedicure with parafin wax, $ 25.00 and the pedi lasts me about 4-5 weeks....love that....Great parking and right next door to Trader Joes and a Starbucks...cannot go wrong there....No appointment necessary but they can get busy on the weekends...CASH ONLY.....Enjoy!
