Came in for the first time, on a Saturday morning without an appointment, and was seated right away.  They have a large team so I was very pleased that I did not have a wait! I loved my eurpoean spa pedicure. Nancy took great care of me and I appreciated how professional she was. She didn't try to talk to me as I wanted some relaxation and pampering. I have been to elegant  Nails and spa  at least 4 times now they have great products but something definitely fishy is going on  I usually get  alyaric nail or gel nail which usually got about 40 to 45 dollars plus I get powder nails polish which cost $7 dollars. But tell why I was chartered 35 dollars for a regular spa and nail which says on there banner cost $12I should have only been charged 12 for a regular spa manicure and 7 for the fancy nail powder which should of been a total of $19 dollars. I like coming here because they use quality products. I usually ask for Kim who does a fabulous job doing my gel manicure. Most of the rest of the manicurists (so far) do a good job with my pedicure so it's usually whoever is available while Kim does my mani. If you use a credit card, there's a small fee, so they want you to use debit or cash. Also, they only take cash tips and not to be added to the credit card. Read Less

There are some Horrible employees there I was complaining about how last time I came my nails didn't even last a week they were chipping and they missed spots on the corners and looked bad. And the lady in the front was literally ignoring me and left me talking trying to act like She didn't know what I was talking about and moved away. I then told her "I was in the middle of talking to u" and she looked away again! Also the lady who was doing my nails was throwing things around as if she was mad and screamed at me when I asked a question. I literally experience horrible costumer service every time I come but I always hope I get a good person and never do! Maybe they're tired.. don't get me wrong they do good, but it just ruins your whole day!! Never coming back. Wish I could add 0 stars on this rude nail place. I just got my nails done by Sno and she by far has been the best nail tech I have ever had. My nails are amazing. I'm an owner of a hair salon and have experienced many different nail salons. I wish I could give them no stars. I just moved to Escondido and I'm in search for a great new nail place... this is not the one. I walked in and the man who greeted me was very nice. He told me to sit down and the technician would be right over. Well she came over and tried to persuade me 3 times to get gel and I didn't want gel I just wanted my regular acrylic. She scoffed at me and then didn't say another word to me for the next 20 min. Now, I'm all about being quick if you do a good job. I have been getting my nails done for a while now and I've been getting acrylic for over 3 years. I know it usually takes up to 40 min to do them. It took her about 15 min. She didn't even use nail polish remover. She used the dremal for taking my polish off. And when she went to shape my nails they where all crooked. I didn't want to be rude and I also wanted to get the hell out if there. This was probably the worst nail job I have ever had. Thank God it only cost me $15 because if it was my usual $25 It would have pissed me off even more. I guess I'll be fixing my own nails and will continue my search for a better nail salon Read Less

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had a nail salon. I went in for a gel manicure to treat myself before my brothers wedding. The manicurist sloppily laid the polish on, and put my hands under the uv. She didn't use a timer and just pulled them out quickly to add more coats. The whole time she's fussing around with her hands and paying no attention. The nails were a mess! There was polish on my fingers; globs of polish on my nails. It was so sloppy the polish sunk on one end like a curtain and dried in bubbles and clumps. She knew she did a horrible job and that she had to start over. What followed was he painful process of soaking and removing gel polish. What a complete disregard for time and for money. Once she took the polish off I got out of there as quickly as I could. They only charged me for the pedicure but honestly they should have compensated me for both as this was such a horrendous experience.Don't waste your time or your money. I get my nails, pedicures and waxing done here. When I get a full set done, my hands don't hurt afterwards or peel like in other places.They do a great job and I love the employees. Very friendly, clean. Read Less

I've been going here for about 3 years. Quality and customer service have declined. I often feel uncomfortable when the women all talk in a foreign language to each other and it seems like they are commenting on how rough my feet are or that I'm being picky because they didn't cover the entire nail with polish. Arguing with me about whether or not there's a hair stuck in the polish (then just painting over it to make it go away), or how short I wanted my toenails. I'm pretty sure I know what I requested because I request the same thing every time. I really don't need somebody arguing with me about it when I'm trying to relax. It's just rude and makes me feel very uncomfortable. Also, the files they use to file nails are too rough and cause my very healthy nails to peel. I comment on this almost every time, but only occasionally do they do something about it. Maybe they just don't understand, but maybe they just don't care. I'm looking for a new place. Read Less

A friend took me in & I just called to tell them that they lost a possible new customer because if the lousy manicure I received. She was in such a hurry (only my friend & I were there) that the "repair" she did is a glob of glue on top of my nail. It broke yesterday, my manicure was the day before. Not only r there bumps & brush strokes in the paint job, it is easy to see on several nails that the 2nd coat did not cover the entire nail, so there r also color ridges on the nail. Probably the 2nd worst manicure I have ever received. The 1st was also @ this salon several years ago. I requested a refund then. They made me insist on it tho. Many better salons in the area.
