I went in for a manicure and pedicure this morning at around 10:30.  The guy that was there (didn't get his name) got started on me right away.  He asked if I wanted gel or regular and I decided on gel.  He was super nice and friendly. He took his time and made sure every nail was nicely done. Then the lady that gave me my pedicure was great as well. I didn't get her name either but she was an older lady. She was really friendly and talkative which made me feel really comfortable. I think everything turned out really nicely. I have an up and down experience coming here, my nails always look absolutely amazing and almost flawless. Jack is a bit rude to me everytime im there but everyone else in the salon is very kind. Ricky gives an amazing pedicure, an if you don't mind spending the money honestly a little more than most salons come here because its worth it. Despite customer service jack does a perfect coffin nail and polish, my acrylic is always perfectly smooth, but a $30 fill & they charge additional for everything. I've been on the hunt for a decent nail shop in Sacramento for a while now. I Yelped and found this place that is literally down the street from my house. When I walked in, I was greeted and Ricky quickly took me to the pedicure chair. He was very attentive, clean and thorough. He cleaned my feet and nails well and took his time. I came here for the first time today ever. Needed to get my nails done for a wedding I'm going to later this week & also a 3 week vacation, so I just wanted to treat myself so to speak. I scheduled an appointment but I called prior to other salons to get some price ranges. For those of you wondering, for this place the starting price for acrylics is 26$ and then it goes up. I got coffin nails done & I gave him a reference photo for the kind of nails I wanted. The coffin shape is an additional 5$ to the 26$. My nail technician today was Jack. He made small talk & I didn't feel uncomfortable when we were in silence because I wasn't in the mood to talk really. He was very thorough & asked me after he finished a step to see if I was satisfactory with the process of my nails. Which I really appreciated since I haven't gotten my nails done in a really long time. I usually do my own. I would have to say he was a little abrasive when it came to the shaping of my acrylic, but I didn't really mind it. I paid $49 for my nails today! Which isn't as expensive as I thought my nails were going to be. But I'm overall satisfied with the job & would specifically recommend Jack! Get in and get out, literally. You'll never have to experience a wait (at least for the times I've been here). Came here a few times and got a pedicure from the gentlemen who I presume to be the owner. He was great! Made my toes look fresh and I have to admit he gives the best pedicure foot massage. None of that soft, touch-less rub that every other nail salon provides. Price is decent and comparable to other salons. No complaints. Will be back. Read Less

This used to be my go-to nail place. Jack usually did my nails. The first time I got them done I loved them. However when I came back for a few more visits I was very regretful. I always get full set: gel over acrylic. I would be charged around $40-$42 sometimes and other places would only charge me $30-$35 for a one color gel over acrylic manicure. I'm glad I tried a different nail shop because I realized I was being way over charged for a mediocre manicure. The last time I went there. I made an appointment at 5pm and Jack said come in a little later instead because he has a client before me and it might take a little longer than expected. I came in and still had to wait. When I finally got to his station I told him I wanted almond shape but instead he gave me the sharp stiletto shape and said these look better...uh what?! The paint job was sloppy and I was not satisfied. Since I was his last client and he kept saying he was tired, I felt like It was very rushed. The employees are nice to me but I feel like that's just because I'm Asian.. I won't be returning to this place because there are cheaper nail shops that do a much better job with better customer service. Read Less

I came in on a Monday morning and I'm sure I was their first customer. This was the first time I've ever tried out this nail salon, and it won't be my last. The very moment I walked in I was greeted kindly and offered water. The workers there were very friendly. Now let's get to the good stuff. I came in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Philip did my nails, and I couldn't catch the lady that did my toes but they were BOTH AMAZING!!!!! I've never had anyone be so detailed in their work. They took their time and made sure it looked perfect! It was my birthday and I thought it was very sweet that they offered to give me a free design on my toes. I was looking for a salon. I was in Elk Grove looking at several salons and I walked into X nails on Saturday the 16th of April 2016. They were so friendly and the atmosphere was so clean and family oriented. I went home, called made an appointment with Jack for Sunday 17th of April 2016. From the time I walked in for my appointment until the time I left everyone was so so friendly. It was an amazing experience! Jack is absolutely amazing! I wanted to try a new salon because I was in dire need of a pedicure and I think I've found my new go to. The first thing I noticed was the place was very clean. Everybody was extremely friendly greeting me with smiles and saying hello. One woman who I think was the manager noticed it was my first time and personally introduced herself to me and stopped what she was doing to say goodbye to me when I left! Anyways so I was recommended to try the $30 deluxe pedicure and though I didn't intend to spend that much, I tried it anyways, and let me tell you, it was well worth every penny. I was rubbed with oils and different gels, one that cooled my legs and one that warmed them and they smelled really good, too! They wrapped my legs and feet with warm towels and massaged me with warm rocks. The whole experience was very soothing I could've fallen asleep right there in the seat. They even offer to let you take home some of the supplies they use on you (nail file, pumice stone, etc)! On top of their excellent customer service they have a very huge range of opi colors which I liked a lot. This was the first time I actually had a little trouble deciding which color I wanted to go with. I ended up tipping the girl $10 (which I rarely do, only when it's definitely deserved) I will definitely be going back here soon! Read Less
