Came in for a fill Tues night and the lovely lady who did my nails did an amazing job! 5 stars for shape and color! 5 stars for the price! Making my appt for my pedi for this weekend. Came here on a Friday afternoon and wasn't busy. The employees here are very nice and accommodating! I took about 10 mins picking a nail color and the lady doing my pedicure was very patient. The owner was welcoming and offered me water. I picked the classic spa pedicure. The water was warm and the bath was lined. I feel safe when i visit nail salons that have the liners. The massages from my legs to the toes were nice! They definitely don't skip or give you a crappy massage. The massage lasted about 20 minutes. It was rejuvenating after a long week. The lady i had had braces and she was one of the sweetest nail technicians I've ever met! She helped me with putting on my birks when i didn't expect her to do it. She made my visit so relaxing. Great nail salon with excellent customer service and one of the most soothing pedicures I've had in a long time. Walked in with no appointment on a Sunday morning and received a deluxe pedicure. The massage that comes with the pedicure lasted about 30-35 min, extending from just below the knees all the way down to the toes. Best part of the whole service! I visited friendly nails today with a friend. We both got Mani-Pedi's, but I got the most basic of service. We were both treated great regardless of price. Water was offered, a pillow, and the massage chairs are great. They do not rush through your service. We will definitely be back as their customer service was excellent. Read Less

A little late in posting my review. I visited this spot 4 days after it opened. I saw a sign outside, change in management. I ordered chicken tikka and chicken biryani to go. I waited for like 25 minutes for the food to be cooked. And it was in the afternoon when there was no one in the restaurant. While I waited two tables were quickly filled. The chicken biryani flavors were ok. But the chicken was favorful and not dry. And chicken tikka was fairly okay too. Read Less

JoJo did my nails, she was very pleasant and took her time although  they close at 7:30. I love my nails and I will def. Be back for a pedicure and nails. This was my first visit to Friendly Nails and it was the worst experience.  I don't like leaving negative reviews but felt I had to share my experience since I rely heavily on other reviews to decide if I will try a place or not.  Many of the other reviews seemed okay and I really thought this would be a nice place to try after reading all the other reviews.  So I arrived at 9a but I guess they actually don't open til 9:30a but no one showed up until 9:45am on a Wednesday morning. I went on August 16th. I went with a friend. JoJo did my friend's pedicure and I got Nina (if that's even her real name). I was not happy at all with Nina's service. She rushed through my pedi. I think I was done in less than 15 minutes. I got the Classic pedi it says $25 on the price list because I needed the exfoliation but I think I actually received just the Basic.  The exfoliation was nothing and I barely got a few minutes of a massage. I was watching JoJo work on my friend's and thought she was doing a great job and took her time with my friends pedi. I felt like was being cheated since I was already done and just sitting there watching.  If you want to try this place be sure you don't get Nina maybe ask for JoJo. There was another client waiting and I felt she rushed through my pedi just to get to the other client which really pisses me off since I'm a paying client as well and I came for a service.  Maybe she felt since I was already sitting in a chair she was afraid the other client would leave she would rush through me before the other lady left? JoJo offered to only charge the Basic pedi which is $20.  I think she may have been the owner even though I asked her but she denied she was. Place is nice and clean five stars. ... but If you look like minority thats what you get treated like!  If you are not of a light complexion YOU do not get offered water, pillow to rest your head, or get the massage chair turned on for you. Absolutely love getting my nails done here. Their name is friendly nails because they truly are friendly! Always so nice, they gave good prices and tons of colors to choose from! I personally get gel set of acrylics, eyebrows and pedicures done by Jojo and recommend her. She will take her time if you're not in a hurry and does her best every time. I visited Friendly Nails on July 26th.  The experience was wonderful.  My pedicure/manicure was done by 2 very experienced and friendly ladies. Both took their time and treated me with respect. This is based off of a non busy day. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite slow. They took their time doing my nails as there weren't any other customers to attend to. I've read a lot of reviews that said they rush the work on your nails when there are customers waiting. Hopefully they continue to tend to their customers as if they're the only ones there. I came here because of the good yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Attention pregnant ladies: the spa pedicure will be the best $30 you spend! It was the best pedicure I've ever had and included foot mask and exfoliation, massage, parafin wax, hot stone massage and polish. And they give you a warm neck pillow! The place is super clean. They have the disposable foot bath liners. Great selection of polish colors and lots of gel colors too. I also got a gel manicure for $25. Very good. The staff was very kind. (The lady doing my nails actually apologized for speaking in Vietnamese to her co workers and said that English is difficult for them.) I will be back and you should try it out too! Read Less

Love everything about this place: great customer service, clean, on time when I have an appointment, great service, super terrific gel pedicures, gel and or pink and white manicures/fills always look fresh and just done plus they last 2-3 weeks. I love Tina, the gal who has been doing my nails since early 2016. She is an absolute joy, used to be the shop owner and now is an independent nail tech. She texts me appointment reminders, gives me advance warning if she has to change my time or is running early or late, giving me ample time to get there. She's creative and always adds a little "sparkle" or design to make my nails look different, I like this.  Pricing is moderate and worth it.  I text her with my time frames and availability for my next appointment, and she responds back.  I also like that when she's doing my nails, she's focused on that rather than talking on the phone, chatting to the other gals.  It's not that I mind but she's there for me.  The salon is conveniently located with ample parking, set access. The salon is fairly quiet except for music. Some places are LOUD, this one is not.  I'm 100% satisfied with Tina. If she were to leave, I'd follow her to wherever she went to work. Read Less

I called on a Sunday evening wondering if they were  still taking clients. I was quickly told yes of course.. I walked in and yes it was busy. I ultimately wanted to get my pedicure AND nails done for a family photo shoot the following day. But considering they're closing soon I only asked for a Pedicure. I was greeted with a warm smile from this lady named Mary. Mary handed me a cold bottle of water and a warm heated neck pad(omg) I was immediately relaxed. Mary was very attentive, thorough, polite, gentle, and professional with her work. -I -admit I haven't had a pedicure for quite sometime I know. Halfway through my pedicure, it's past 7 and Mary noticed my nails were bare and untouched. -She politely asked would you like your nails done? Past closing time and almost 8pm and every nail technician is still working on their clients. With smiles! I got my nails and Mary had me set for my photo shoot. As I was driving to another nail spot to get my manicure and pedicure, I noticed this place in the borders complex. I quickly checked the review, it was 4.5 star. Hmm. I should have questioned myself whether 31 reviews were good enough to walk into the nail salon. To my dismay the AC was not working at this spot. And when I asked they said we are turning it ON. After sitting there for few minutes they gave me the fan since I was pregnant and feeling super hot.and they offered bottle water. They use clean bags for each customer.  They did a great job on the pedicure but I was not quite impressed with the way my hands nail paint was done. They were in a rush to help out other customers since several people were waiting. The nails paint looks strange. Thick on certain sides. My friend and I did a walk-in about an hour before closing. They really hold true to their name, the women who helped us were super friendly! I had a great time talking to them while I was getting a pedicure.  This was probably one of the best pedicures I've had for a very reasonable price, $20. I absolutely love this shop! The owners are a very nice couple who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the service they provide. My mother and I went in this past Monday (7/4) and enjoyed pedicures. We were the only ones... of course it was a holiday so I wasn't expecting there to be much foot traffic. It was a perfect "mother daughter day".Our pedicures included a mask, scrub, massage, and hot rocks! I have to say, this has been the best place I've gone to for a pedicure. I am not one to get my nails done on the regs. I'm that person who is bored and swings by to get their nails because why not? I'm hella overweight with questionable nail health.This place rocks. I didn't feel judged; I felt appreciated, in all honesty, as I didn't make a fuss about an accidental smudge or waiting for a few minutes. I wanted to chill and be a bit pampered and this place delivered. Note: (And this goes for any business) Remember that these people are cleaning your nails for a living. Don't be a dick. Seriously. It started off well, they seated me and a lady started doing my pedi and then the guy - I didn't get his name - started doing my gel manicure and when he was cleaning my thumb he clipped my skin and now it's hurting and throbbing so bad. He didn't even apologize when it happened he acted like nothing happened. Then u showed him it was bleeding and he put alcohol on it. He didn't offer me a discount or any apology.
