Got a new employee. First time I was ever charged for removal of my existing polish.  I got a gel mani and pedi and it all started peeling off within a week. Worst hair cut ever!  Asked to shape it with long layers. She was literally done in 5 minutes and barely cut any hair off. I had to ask her to cut more and shape it.  Not coming back. Read Less

Called and was asked which stylist for my hair cut (like I'm supposed to know) so I picked Katie. It was not a good experience and I won't be back here. I have to pay someone else to fix my hair so I'm leaving a review. I showed her a picture. I asked for a" cute, fun layered bob". Katie washed and cut and was mindful about the length. She straightened the crap out of it for a dry cut. She then took 30-40 minutes trimming it with an electric trimmer(???). She had me turned away from the mirror the entire time (some element of surprise?). Nor did she communicate with me during the hair cut about how I wanted it (is she certified?).This was upsetting; how do I tell you how I want my hair if I can't see what you're doing? Once she was finished, she revealed a bob haircut(Nothing like the picture - she took 'bob' and ran with it). At this point, I looked in the hand mirror and I asked for more layers - "all around". I didn't scold her, or raise my voice...so I'm confused why she got a passive-aggressive attitude. "You said a bob" "well you don't like the first cut I give you". She desperately tried to layer out my ends, the meanwhile reminding me that I didn't like the first cut. I realized she wasn't understanding my request so I asked her to stop MULTIPLE times.  She asked me to straighten my hair and I again reminded her I was done - and that "I don't need my thin hair straightened". Sarah is the best!!! I've been going to her for over a year now and she has done my haircuts/trims, highlights, root touch-ups and pedicures. Alyssa goes above and beyond in every way from her services to the customers and the overall pride in her work. Her staff is also wonderful and does a good job. It is a shame there is negative comments on here when she does not deserve it. I have been going to her salon since it opened and could not be any happier. For those that have made the bad comments you cannot expect to pay so little for the amount of work you want done. These workers have a family to feed to. If you want cheap go to a low budget salon in Stockton Blvd and get cheap. You will be lucky if you come out with a decent hair cut. I've gone to this salon multiple times and have ALWAYS had a more then positive experience. Not only have I had the best customer service experience herr but I have ALWAYS left feeling content with how my nails where done. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but at the same time closed mouths don't get fed people. We are the paying customers so in the event you are not happy with the service that is YOUR responsibility to let the manager know prior to you leaving. You have to be fair and give them the chance to make things right before even considering leaving such negative comments here. Alyssa is a hard working mother of two and works 7 days a week to be nothing less then 100% about her workers and making sure she does everything in her power to keep her clients happy before they walk out that door! Katie gives the BEST manicures plus she's super sweet. She noticed a cut on my finger while doing my nails & went out of her way to grab me some Neosporin for it- so thoughtful. SERVICEI come here to get pedicures. I like that it's next door to Starbucks so I have my bux while I'm getting a service :)The nail technicians go above and beyond to accomodate my nail requests. I usually ask for things difficult, like a bunny on my big toe or a pumpkin, depending on the season. They take their time to do that for me and it's greatly appreciated. They could just tell me that they cannot. Also, I bring my 2 year old with me and they are very sweet and accommodating to her. Been here a few times now for their $15 (used to be $12 I think?) haircuts and it's literally such a steal, they do a good job! :) All their services here are resonably priced, I still can't believe I haven't gotten my nails done here yet! I've been coming here for probably over a year now and it's my happy relaxation oasis. I always go to Katie and she's awesome at what she does. She always takes care of my nails and makes them super cute. I suffer from ingrown toe nails and she's always able to get them out safely with out the pain. They are super sanitary here and always use sterilized products for every customer. It's a full service salon where you can get a wax, haircut, color, nails, etc.  The owner Alyssa is super talented and friendly and makes it a fun and inviting environment. I was in desperate need of color and a cut. I do have a specific person I go to religiously, but my sisters (and my baby niece) recommended that I try out another salon. I made an appointment with Alyssa at Aye Salon.She has a really cute and humble salon located in Laguna. Her shop is purple (my favorite color!) and it was very easy on the eyes. Simple and clean with 2 tvs to keep ourselves entertained.Alyssa was very attentive to what I wanted. I asked for certain colors and she went ahead and showed me the colors that she had. She also helped me yank out a few stubborn white hair that I could never reach! We had a few conversations about the worst haircut I've had, to colors that looks good and not good.
