Honestly they've never failed me once with my nails BUT they are super rude. Just as some previous reviewers say, it literally seems like they don't care to have your business when you walk in (which sucks).They're customer service is crappy. They aren't welcoming, plain and simple. So if customer service isn't a big part of your experience then this place will fully satisfy you. Read Less

Worst nails I've ever had done.. very poor service... constantly talking on the phone or on facebook. The lady that did my nails didn't do the style of nail that I wanted I asked multiple times for her to trim them down (I should have just walked out) and most of my nails are uneven and crooked. Worst experience ever!! I was rushed through while he was working on two other clients at the same time and while my nails were being filed he cut the skin on FOUR fingers.....now it's like paper cuts that won't heal and it's been three days. I will NEVER return and suggest that if you want a good job on your nails that you would consider going somewhere else. Pretty good local nail salon in El Monte. They spa pedicures which is a MUST HAVE for me. If I'm treating myself to get my nails done, I might as well be getting a massage right? The worst experience ever. Paid 55$ only to have two shellac nails chip and two fake tips were halfway falling off after only 4 days. I went back and they were very rude, wouldn't refund, we're trying to tell me there is no guarantee. Wanted to argue and fight with me until I was in tears. I have had many many fake tip shellac manis before and this one was terrible and they wouldn't admit it and wanted to fight with me till I cried. I came to Pretty Nails Studio, since I follow them on Instagram. I went to them last Tuesday (10/11) around 5:30, and according to the sign on the door and their Instagram they close at 7. Luckily the weight wasn't long since there were only two/three people when I walked in. Since, I obviously had time, I asked for a "Halloween design". By that, I meant I wanted just black gel nails and on my ring fingers "Candy Corn" nails. The technician that helped me rolled her eyes and started speaking in her native tongue; I disregarded this. Not only did I notice that the tools she was using weren't "new" and didn't seem sanitized, but I was already mid-manicure when I realized this. She was fine and then around 6:00 I noticed they were all rushing to close and had another technician do the Candy Corn design.I being polite, asked if they were closing and she said no, they close at 7, but since it was slow they wanted to leave early and fast. It was OBVIOUS that was their goal bc upon leaving I could tell it was a half assed job. They left spaces between my nail/skin so it looked like I hadn't had a manicure and I had pieces of cuticle. It looked like I tried giving myself a manicure. Not to mention it hasn't even been a week and it already looks like I haven't had my nails done in 3 weeks and my polish is chipping. It's frustrating, and yes, I should have complained but I was so mad I was at a loss for words.Don't be fooled by their Instagram as I was. I was more disappointed by the service and how careless they were and more over the way the tools seemed to lack sanitation.If you want a good nail place and you're in the area, make the effort to drive a bit and go to Sky Nails off of Vincent. After today I will never waste my money here I ARRIVED HERE AT 6:20pm closing time is 7:30pm she wants me to get fills on a month old set of nails bcuz she wants to leave at 7:30pm mind you she left at 6:55pm I WANTED A NEW SET. It's my money my nails not asking for free service.....they are expensive but I don't mind wasting my money's worth! We came last week n the week b4 n she's always saying "we're busy" she just sits in her chair txing not doing anything 5 employees with her n only 2 customers and my sister n myself AND SHES TELLING ME TO GET JUST FILLS!!!
