I was visiting Dublin and had some down time so wanted to find a mani/pedi spot and Yelp led me to Dublin Nails. I made a reservation in advance and I haven't looked back - been here 4+ times now! The work is FANTASTIC. Tina has such an eye for nail color. I wanted a white, but she recommended a blend of 2 shades and it was gorgeous! The gel also stays ON. No chips. I am not picky to who I go to but my friend loves going to Tim or Tina for her acrylic sets! They also properly removed my gel polish by filing it and then using the foil method. I've been coming to Dublin Nails for the past 6 years and today was the last day. I came in for my gel manicure and the nail tech spent about 5 minutes filing and buffing them (she normally takes her time) they were rough and uneven so I asked the second technician to fix them. She did an okay job so she began to paint them. As she was painting them the paint began to separate on my nail and it was the WORST paint job I've ever seen. I asked them to redo it with a separate color and at first she said she won't switch the color so I insisted. A new technician came and took over, they turned out just ok. My nails were buffed so raw that by the time I left they hurt. They are priced low but the products are horrible quality (gel won't last more than a week). Sad to say but I will not be returning. Walked in Saturday morning at around 11 and had no wait which was great. I got a guy that didn't speak English which was a little frustrating but turned out okay. He did a pretty average job, main complaint is that he used too much acrylic liquid which causes nails to feel sore for a while which is one of my pet peeves because it kinda hurts and it's really annoying to deal with for a while. Asked if they had an opening for a fill and pedi and they took me right away. The man who started to do my fill was super sweet but i soon found out he had no idea what he was doing. I usually get a french tip with powder, he used a completely different color for my fill which made it look like i still needed a fill! It was my fault for not paying closer attention. The other man who was there told me to come sit at his chair and he would fix it but he seemed very annoyed and short with me so i ended up just leaving. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME!!! MOST AMAZING NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER.  I tried this place for the first time today and I never want to go anywhere else now! ASK FORMIN, best nail tech I've ever encountered. I went in for an acrylic full set with gel polish and a pedicure. As soon as I sat down he felt that my hands were cold and brought out a little heater to warm them while he worked. He checked multiple times to make sure I was happy with the length and thickness as he shaped the acrylics. He listened carefully to my feedback and never got tired of me asking for adjustments. He's EXTREMELY precise and makes sure everything is exactly right as he goes. The whole time he had a friendly and quirky demeanor and made me feel so comfortable! He even kept checking to make sure my pedicure (which someone else was doing) was going smoothly after he finished my hands. It seriously made my day with how invested he was. My new go to! Due to curiosity I've bounced around other nail salons in the area and honestly no one was ever as consistent as this place. I have even gone as far as driving an hour to San Jose but failed to find consistency. My mom, sister and I have been getting our nails done here for years and are never disappointed. All of the staff are friendly and personable, always asking "where/how is your mom/sister today?". The gel color selection is huge and their nail shaping is always perfect. I have been coming to Dublin nails for about 5 years. I get acrylics and have always had a problem with consistency but then I found Teena. I really like that she does a great job and my nails last. I'm a hairstylist and my hands are always in water so before her they would just break or lift. I also like that they put a new bag in the bowl when you're getting a pedi. I've been to a handful of nail salons in Dublin (Luxor, synergy spa, Anu, etc) and this one has VERY good technicians with great precision! 1. First off, they have the TV on which I love cuz there's always that awkward silence at the beginning before you "warm up" during the service...dunno,maybe just me! Lol! 2. I only came in for a basic GEL MANICURE and basic PEDICURE (no fake nails, no fancy jewels or nail designs) 3. The price for the above was $48 ($26-GelMani and $22-pedicure). Most places I've been to charge $30 and $28 for those services 4. Anne did most of my service and Tina did the shaping on my Mani. I told Tina I like long and pointy (even though I had a few nails that were short) she delivered without trimming any of my nails!! 5. Massage on both hands and feet were consistently very good! I was doing research and this place had good ratings so I thought I'd try it out. Incredibly pissed off actually. The guy who did my nails started off filing them then once other ppl started coming in he took off. My thumb was filed incredibly crooked. :/A lady finished filing and painting my toes. I should have just left it and not asked for art. So disappointed. I showed the man who ran off the art I want and told him if its too hard I'll pick something else. Not everyone is familiar with how to do it which is fine. But I'd rather know you can't do it than get a shitty design. He asked if I want the bear to be brown like in the picture. I said yes. Why is it gray? The strawberry looks like a glob. Just say I'm sorry but I'm not good at those or something. First 2 pictures are of what I wanted. The rest are what I got.Update.... I called because I was pretty upset, they said to come in that they will fix it. All they did was take off the art. Now its just plain pink. Also had to come back a 3rd time bc they forgot the gloss :/The nail polish on the thumb is now lumpy. Seems like they don't take pride in what they do, just get ppl in and get ppl out. Was passing through to LA from SF and me n a girlfriend needed some repairs done. I asked for the removal of an acrylic nail set. So the lady proceeded to pry my nails off with a new fake nail. She TORE MY PINKY NAIL BED IN HALF! I showed I was in pain and suddenly she 'had an appointment' after handing my hands for less than a five minutes. I've been a customer for 4 years. Ann is the best nail tech I've found in the area. Min gives the absolute BEST massage/pedicure I have ever had! He gives a deep tissue massage on the legs and feet! I've been coming here for 3 years and won't come anymore. Their service has fallen off and it's so disappointing. Over the last few months I'd come in and leave with nail polish on my nails & fingers and air bubbles in the polish. The last straw was when I went two weeks ago. I showed them a flower design and the woman made it look like a moon. And after 2 days my shellac polish was chipping. By day 5 it looked like I'd had my nails for 2-3 weeks.  Very disappointed. Honestly the best place in town. After getting a terrible cut, that made one side of my hair noticeably shorter than the other - Melissa was able to fix it in a matter of minutes - that was almost two years ago and Ill never go to anyone else again.
