I have been coming here for 2 years now...and the past few months have been a little disappointing. First let me say Mika, cares about her clients...thats why i keep coming back. However, some of the nail techs need EXTRA training! I have had to come back (different occassions)& get my gel manicure redone after it chipping after less than 7 days! (It wasn't just one nail,either).  The techs that are creative with the designs,etc. don't stay long which sucks because they rock! Sadly, I think it may be  time for me to find a new salon. Got a great pedicure after a not so great one the day before and booked a same day short notice appointment to get my very first eyelash extensions & it went amazing!I absolutely love them . Usually it's a bit awkward around technicians when they're working on you but Maika was awesome. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and a conversation never feels forced with her. I made an appointment via phone for a Monday evening gel manicure. They were really nice and professional on the phone which I appreciated. Upon showing up, I could tell that all the tables were filled but they still greeted me warmly and asked me to choose a color. There were a lot of colors to choose from and I was able to find one that I ideally wanted. I had Wendy and she did an incredible job. She worked quickly but with precision. She would occasionally pause and ask me if something was okay, which is nice because not a lot of manicurists do that. The interior was nice and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. Came in 20 minutes before closing, and the staff was kind enough to stay and help out me and my fiance with a mani-pedi.  The interior looks very clean and the customer service is top notch. All of their staff are bilingual in Vietnamese and English making communication much easier. The staff was friendly and professional, and their prices are not over the top. Decided to try this salon after it was recommended to me by a friend. I had my acrylics poorly removed at another salon, thankfully that was no challenge for Lana. I did SNS nails for the first time and she was kind enough to explain the whole process to me, as I had no clue what to expect from SNS. I love coming here. My mother goes to Brenda and has been going to Brenda for 15+ years now. Lana does my nails. BEST. MANICURE. EVER. She takes her time, so if you like a speedy manicure go to someone else. Lana is meticulous and will make sure your nails are perfection. She specializes in gel and dipping powder. Hats off to Clarissa Nails! I had my own natural nails painted recently by a lovely lady at Clarissa Nails ahead of my wedding the following day. I didn’t get the lady’s name, but she did such a fantastic job and I was so, so happy with them! I had an ombre take on the French Polish and it was amazing, so much nicer than a classic French Polish, she did a feature nail on my ring fingers with a lovely cute hand painted design and a tiny bit of sparkle – they were very clas...sy for a wedding and I loved them!! I don’t come from the area otherwise I would definitely come back to have my nails done again and again. I’ve tried to get a similar polish done locally since returning home, but was told they don’t do it……don’t or can’t I’m not sure! I love love love my nails. Went in, showed themA picture of what I wanted, they had ran out of the material. They tried their best to make it right, but it didn't really look right. They redid it until I loved it and I could not be more happy. I think I found my new nail place. Thank you to Mica for my ring finger and I believe Wendy or something with a W, I'm horrible with names. UPDATE: I had got my nails done on Friday, today is Monday and all of my acrylics have fallen off. I am disappointed because I leave for a trip and will no longer have them done. Really awesome service! Maika prepped my nails and put the base coat on. Wendy did the design. Both were absolutely amazing. I don't usually get my nails done, but I will definitely be back! I adored how meticulous Wendy was. I told her the design was beautiful, but she insisted she could do better and redid it. They take pride in their work!! My only complaint was that the filing was a little rough for me and I got knicked on my middle finger (no open skin, more like slight bruising). Didn't think it was a big deal at the moment so I didn't say anything, but now it's hurting a bit D: I tend to have more sensitive hands and I was asked how I felt, so not a fault of the salon at all. I will just have to communicate better. My thumb also had some bubbles on the base coat, but they disappeared after the design. Really love how positive everyone is!! I went to pure bliss nails to fix a broken nail and instead of using acrylic, they used dip powder. It was totally new to me as I haven't done my nails in 3 years (I used to get them done religiously but after the rugrat was born, I stopped.) I was very intrigued by this new system and told my friend about it. She said she was doing it for awhile and loves it. I've had this done three times now and I have to say I do like this A LOT better than acrylic and gel manicure. Acrylic ruins your nails and the gel just didn't stay long on me, I would break a nail or the gel's shininess would dull. Between washing my hands and using a crap ton of cleaners to clean, it just didn't hold up. (Ok I know... I can wear gloves to protect my nails but I'm too lazy dammit) the dip powder maintains it shininess until my next fill. The first time I had it done with May (I think that's her name) and she did a pretty good job, although my nails were a bit thick for my liking. The last time and my current one, I had it done by a Tracy. She's super nice and keeps asking if everything is to my liking. She does a great job and I'll keep coming back to her! I was looking more of a pinky nude color but they didn't have one. And I thought the color I chose would be more muted than bright. I have a pink ombré with white sparkles and glitter on the ring finger and white glitter for thumb. Read Less

It's really hard finding a nail salon I can trust and I'm so glad I found this place.I came in for a pedi and my nail manicurist, Lana gave me one of the best pedi I've had since moving to LA. I got a basic pedi which cost ($20). It came with a citrus scrub, nail polish, cuticle remover and foot scrub. She has a really strong grip when it came to my foot massage which a lot of people would like, but my feet couldn't handle it, LOL. I really like how Lana paid very close attention to my nails and made sure I was satisfied with my pedi. I do recommend coming and seeing her. I forgot to write a review after my visit, but thought that they deserved 5 stars. It was my first time here; the lady that did my nails spent a lot of time shaping them. You can tell that she was very precise with her work. I originally was going to just get regular polish on a full set, but after seeing how pretty their unicorn powder was, I got that on gel. The only complaint I have is that she made my nails very thick; I'm not a fan of chunky nails. However, the shape and design of my set is so nice that I'm willing to overlook that. Nice and clean nail place, service is pretty fast . Usually no wait when I go which is a plus. Not compared to other places, when you make appt's they take in other clients. Chairs actually work and aren't cracked and broken which is another plus.Read Less
