Absolutely LOVEEEEE this place. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to how my nails look and feel and Michelle nails it every time!! (Lol no pun intended)The attention to detail she has is astounding. And she doesn't charge for every little thing like taking an old set off and putting a new one on and trimming the cuticles like all the other nail salons that try to gouge its customers for every little thing. I always come in with different designs and colors and she does her best to match them if they don't have the actual color. She even mixed 2 shades of purple for me to get as close as possible to the shade I wanted. It's the little things that can make or break the experience and determine if you return. All of the techs here are great and so nice and accommodating but Michelle and her brother (sorry I don't know his name!) are by far my favorite. I usually ask that he does my pedicure because of his attention to detail and the fact that he puts hydrating lotion on your feet after wiping the massage oil and lotion off. Oh! And he gives grrreeeaattt massages which is, honestly, THE best part of getting (and one of the main reasons I get) a pedicure. Overall they are a great salon and more people should come here for all their nail needs and wants. I haven't tried waxing here yet only because I'm waiting for my eyebrows to grow a little bit thicker before I get them waxed again (had a bad experience from an old salon I used to go to and half of one of my brows fell out and wouldn't grow back).  They have so many colors and are always getting new things in like beautiful predestined tips.  Also, almost forgot! I asked Michelle once if she could do a special shaped pink and white (the one where the white tip is in a V instead of just French) and the next time I came in to get my nails done she had a whole hand mannequin of practice the tip I requested.  She was ready to do them for my appointment and they came out great! Whenever there is something one can't do they work together as a team to make sure the client is always satisfied. They don't just try once and tell you no; they work hard to please their customers which you don't see at other nails salons. I was charged more than what I was quoted!  I decided to give Orchid's a try after calling a few salons for a quote. I was debating on going to a fancier salon in Hacienda but I didn't want to make the drive. When I was done, the older lady who did my nails said my gel mani and basic pedi was $40 instead of $37. She explained their weekday special was $22 for gel and $18 for pedi which still doesn't make sense of the $37 the other lady had told me. I paid anyway and left a decent tip cause I was tired and wanted to leave. The older lady was nice but a little rough. My nails were filed coarsely and unevenly. Had nail polish all over my fingers when I left. I wish I had told her not to cut my cuticles. There were literally ripped out and the skin around my nails look ugly. An extra star cause they line their tubs and service is friendly. I hate to give small family businesses a poor rating and usually just skip to review it altogether but at that price, I could of went to the newest salon in DB and would of done a better job!
