Truly questioning the authenticity of these other reviews after my experience. I was so excited to have a nice nail place by my office and really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately it was hands down the worst nail experience ever.I went on Tuesday to a 2PM appt for a full set and pedicure, typically ends up being 1.5 hours... It took over 3 HOURS and I left after 5PM with multiple cuts around my nails.  Valerie is who I requested, as she has great reviews. I always get DIP but she apparently doesn't do it so I settled for Gel because she is supposedly the best. First of all, She sliced my finger open with a nail file, once would have been bad, but THREE TIMES and she over clipped with the cuticle cutter and was very rough pulling my skin away from the nail. After over filing the acrylics, I noticed that the nails on my right hand especially were very crooked and uneven. When I pointed it out, rather than file them correctly (I think because she had already over done it and KNEW it) she proceeded to cut them all off and started grinding them completely down, super painful, especially with the cuts. She had another lady Helen take over. Helen was very nice and much better, but unfortunately the damage had been done. It was one thing after another, they offer so many colors but of course the one I wanted was "on order" so I again settled for one similar. They do not have sunscreen for your hands, (who doesn't anymore?!) very weird for a newer salon. When we finally made it to the gel polish stage, she put the polish on and it came out STREAKY... (I chose a basic light pink, not complicated). At the end, the manager tried to blame me for their incompetence and deny how blatantly bad this situation was. I literally had to point out that if I knew how to do nails I wouldn't be there... it was insanity. I have been getting my nails done for years and years and have never experienced anything like this. I've been religiously rubbing Neosporin into my fingers and cuticles ever since and praying  I don't get any sort of infection. The manager said they use a machine to sterilize their tools but I'm still extremely concerned and don't have any confidence in their practice.I would describe my visit as traumatic. Beware! I came as a walk-in on a weekday afternoon for a gel mani/pedi. They took me in right away as they weren't busy yet! I thought the service was wonderful. I wanted a yellow that wasn't too bright and my lady got 4 different colors and showed me on her nail..I thought that was so nice! The pedicure felt amazing! Didn't talk to much which I sometimes like because that's my relaxing time haha but we're very friendly! They only take cash! So come prepared with some or they have an ATM inside :) Read Less

Went for my first time and was super impressed. Pricing is decent and Kathy did a full set for me and they are so cute. I'm very picky with my full sets and always love when I find a new tech who pays very close attention to detail. It look about an hour and a half but I'd rather have it take too long then have corners cut. I will def be coming back here. I came here with a cousin as we were in the area and it had good reviews we thought we would give it a try. First of all we walked in asked if they could take us we didn't make an appointment as it was unplanned. No one mentioned they only take cash did not see the small sign that said cash only, most places takes cards. When we handed her a card she rudely snorted that they don't take cards, I told her we didn't have cash and she said I guess we can take it this time. Just because you don't want to pay the charges for the card machine doesn't mean you can be rude and maybe mention that to someone when it's their first time there. Especially when you charge $70 for a mani/pedi. The woman who did my pedicure was great wish I remembered her name but she had a great personality did a great on my toes. What I was most disturbed by is that the other woman rolled their eyes and were bothered by her friendly banter. My manicure was a completely different story the woman (who was new) painted my nails unevenly, she had to redo one of my nails three times and it still came out bad. I had my nails done on a Saturday and by Wednesday my nails had started to chip. What's the point of paying for the gel when it doesn't last. Would not recommend this location. It's over priced for rude service from most of the women in there and nails that don't look good. Read Less

This is the best nail salon around! Their attention to detail is unmatched. They really take their time to make sure everything is perfect. This nail salon is located in the flowerhill shopping centre, which has a bunch of great shops and eateries! I visited the nail salon after a long road trip and it was exactly what I needed. Pedicure was only $25 and they had a large selection of nail varnishes to choose from. The place was very clean and nice, the staff was friendly as well. I got a mani pedi at the Del Mar Nail Bar a while ago and was super happy with the services! Everyone in the shop was polite and professional. I went on a Saturday without an appointment and they were still able to accommodate me even though they were very busy. It's been 3 weeks and my shellac mani is still intact, as is my pedicure! I visited the salon for the first time today for a gel mani and feet polish change. The place itself looks great,clean, tons of polishes, and friendly staff. I really wanted to like this place but that wasn't the case. My cuticles were not clipped well or even. Polish is uneven and messy against cuticles. Polish change on feet is also uneven. It's hard to see on the pics but the top coat is very sloppy as well. I really wanted to like this place it's convenient,reasonable prices, but it wasn't worth the end results. Read Less

Clean and pretty salon. LOTS of beautiful colors to choose from. I came in for a gel polish take off and regular manicure. It seems like I can't get a decent plain manicure anywhere. At almost every alson unless I am getting a shellac, my manicure always feel rushed. This salon failed to be different. Although I asked for my nails to be as short as possible, the shape of each nail does not match. Some are square some are round. I will have to refile them myself at home. Also, the polish does not cover my entire nail. The outline is not even and so far from my cuticle, it looks like a week's grow out.  I feel like I've wasted my money. $20 was a decent price, but the quality is lacking. While inspecting my nails as they dried, another employee said "they are not dry yet", i said "I know, but the polish doesn't cover my entire nail....." hoping maybe for a ohhh let me see... or let us fix that... nope nothing. I am so irritated I think I will go home and take it off. I'd rather have them plain and won't be back. bummer. The other customers seemed pleased. There was one regular with 3 employees assisting them on just a gel manicure. I'm sure her nails will look great... Maybe i wasn't worth their time?? This salon was not worth my money. Read Less

GREAT SALON - I love this place! :)) Tranquil and restful setting, especially compared to so many other nail salons where the TVs are on in the background with asinine shows or bad music permeates the air... NOT here at this oasis! A HUGE selection of tasteful nail polish colors to choose from, and also many top brands, including an all natural variety.Kathy does my nails and does a SUPERB job every time! She is one of the only manicurists I have been to over the years who REALLY UNDERSTANDS how to deal with ingrown toenails. Unfortunately, I have been plagued by ingrown toenails all my life - they can be very painful if they are not cut properly. Jenny did my gel manicure and Snow did my pedicure. Both were really great! I showed Jenny a design I wanted on my nails, and she was so patient and precise with it. She took the time to make sure they were perfect. The gel color I picked was super sheer and Jenny made sure I was happy with how it looked.Both Jenny and Snow were super friendly and did great jobs on my nails. What a convenient place to have a nail salon. I go to this plaza almost daily so it's really perfect for me and my schedule.My sister and I went for a pedicure and they had a huge selection of colors with the best polish brands (Essie, OPI, etc).The women working were so nice and friendly. There were little snacks (candy, granola bars) and they offered us water, tea, or juice. Everything was extremely clean. I love going to a salon that brings out a new package of tools for every person- it reassures me that it's clean. And they line the tubs so I know there's no grime leftover from the person before me.So far they're off to a great start! they will definitely be my new go to for pedicures Read Less
