I needed to kill some time in Davis and I'm so happy I found Anna at G spa! Anna is super sweet and pays really great attention to making nails look as clean as possible, best part is her super detailed polishing to make sure the whole nail was covered, no streaking or mistakes. My Easter nails are perfect, thanks Anna, can't wait to come back for the chrome polish!

I've been to soooo many nail salons and have finally found one I'll be sticking with! They did a fabulous job painting my nails. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. Both of which were great and relaxing. They were able to do both at the same time which was really good for me as I was limited with time. My toe nail polish is still perfect 2 weeks later and my manicure is absolutely chip-less and still perfect after 2 weeks. Just grown out as expected. Will be going back to get them repainted! Great array of color options as well. Photo 1 is my manicure right after I got it done and the second photo is still perfectly painted 2 weeks later! I cannot stress enough of a great job they did with my manicure. I've been too so many places that paint nude colors unevenly. So pleased! The pricing is just about the same as all salons.

We were in town from the Bay Area and wanting a nice manicure for a reasonable price near our hotel. G-nails was perfect! They took us right away, did a great job, had an incredible color selection and were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that G-nails isn't closer to my home town. Thanks G-nails!

G Nails is one of the only remaining salons in Davis to do acrylic nails with improved and healthier products. They also offer gel nail services and a variety of manicure and pedicures. Excellent service and incredible massage during pedicures. Owners Tina and Keith are delightful people.

I tried this place because of their great rating but was extremely disappointed. Keith was very nice and greeted me upon arrival. They did a great job on my nails but the it took over 90 min for my gel manicure. It was not busy at the time and I mentioned several times that I was in my lunch break and in a rush. Since I always go during my break, I cannot risk trying them again. :(

This is my absolute favorite nail place! The technicians are very sweet and extremely knowledgeable. They were so patient with me as I took my time to choose a color. Once the nail polish was on one nail, they checked in to make sure I liked it. They offered to remove it and allow me to choose another color if I didn't. They took their time and made sure my nails were perfect. The tropical pedi was a much needed "spa day" type experience. It includes a nice scrub, massage and hot stones. I've been coming here for a few years and it's always a wonderful experience.

I've been here a couple times now, and I love my nails every time I leave! I almost always make an appointment, and I've never had a problem with timing; though that might be because I usually schedule before 11am. I admit that sometimes they can take a while (the longest I've been here was for a refill for almost 2 hours), but I think it's worth it because I'm obsessed with my nails afterwards. The picture is from the most recent time that I went! The shape is so perfect and consistent, there's 0 bubbles, and I'm really just happy with it overall. I've tried some other places before, usually just whatever is near me at the time, but I think this place is one of my favorites because I feel like they usually put a lot of effort into doing a good job.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here on and off for the past couple of years for my pedi and gel manicures and I always walk out feeling like a superstar. The staff is super friendly and talented, and Keith is absolutely superb. While you're here, take a look at the beautiful photos on the wall -- Keith, in addition to being a fantastic manicurist, is a great photographer, and all the photos were taken by him in Vietnam. So cool!I had to post a review for this place after today -- I got a gel manicure with the special reflective 3D effect and it looks stunning -- I'm so happy with how it came out!

Tina did my gel manicure today and it's by far, the best manicure I've had in FOREVER!!! A lot of times when you're getting gel nail polish, they do a half-ass job on the actual manicure. It looks messy and he gel tends to peel sooner than it should. My nail beds and cuticles look so CLEAN! I'll be back for sure!

I might have had just a fluke experience but it wasn't a good time. I got acrylic nails done by Khoa Nyeun (sitting at the third desk) and he just wasn't very good. He refused to give me oval nails and would only do rounded squares. He kept ripping my skin with the electric nail file. And he got nail polish all over my cuticles and didn't clean it off. Another nail tech ended up taking over (without me even asking) and she was better but made fun of my for wanting matte. It was overall a weird experience and the nails didn't last very long.

I needed to kill some time in Davis and I'm so happy I found Anna at G spa! Anna is super sweet and pays really great attention to making nails look as clean as possible, best part is her super detailed polishing to make sure the whole nail was covered, no streaking or mistakes. Both of which were great and relaxing. They were able to do both at the same time which was really good for me as I was limited with time. I tried this place because of their great rating but was extremely disappointed. Keith was very nice and greeted me upon arrival. They did a great job on my nails but the it took over 90 min for my gel manicure. It was not busy at the time and I mentioned several times that I was in my lunch break and in a rush. I've been here a couple times now, and I love my nails every time I leave! I almost always make an appointment, and I've never had a problem with timing; though that might be because I usually schedule before 11am. This place is amazing! I've been coming here on and off for the past couple of years for my pedi and gel manicures and I always walk out feeling like a superstar. The staff is super friendly and talented, and Keith is absolutely superb. While you're here, take a look at the beautiful photos on the wall -- Keith, in addition to being a fantastic manicurist, is a great photographer, and all the photos were taken by him in Vietnam. I might have had just a fluke experience but it wasn't a good time. I got acrylic nails done by Khoa Nyeun (sitting at the third desk) and he just wasn't very good. He refused to give me oval nails and would only do rounded squares. He kept ripping my skin with the electric nail file. And he got nail polish all over my cuticles and didn't clean it off. Another nail tech ended up taking over (without me even asking) and she was better but made fun of my for wanting matte. It was overall a weird experience and the nails didn't last very long.
