I asked to color my entire head auburn. I even showed the stylists a picture. she explained what she was going to do and she sounded like she knew what she was talking about. what I ended up with was brown hair with patches of blondish red. i obviously was not pleased I was told by stylist don't get frustrated with me I'm going to fix it. before she started again I asked what are you going to do. i told her I didn't think that would fix the problem. I once again explain...ed to her and the owner what I wanted and my concerns. the owner did not seem concerned and basicly defended her employee. the second attempt had a more even coloring. however my hair is now copper and dark auburn brown. the stylist stated to me well I'm not a magician. it was at this point she tells me your hair was to dark I couldn't have gotten it auburn. this information would have been helpful before she even started. she also did some technique of painting bleach on my hair which I didn't ask for . when I went to pay the owner tried to charge me for the initial coloring and to fix it. $380. I said I'm not paying for the stylist mistake. she took the second coloring off. I paid 240 which is rediculious. the stylist was unprofessional and the owner well I don't know how she's in business. I cant tell you how happy i am to fine such a great nail salon. It is amazing, they all know my name and are so sweet. They are all happy to see me when I walk in and you feel so comfortable. Ok lets talk about their work, it is awesome! All the girls do great work, I have sent my friends there and they are so happy also. I go to Hilary and she devotes her time to me, not in a hurry or take someone else at the same time, like the last shop I went to. It is all about me and I am happy. I went here for my first time today with two friends. I asked to get my eyebrows done and I told the lady who was going to do them that my eyebrows a very thick and I'm very particular about them. She seemed like she understood but when she was done I was left with this. My two friends got their toes and nails done and they looked great. My eyebrows not so much and I showed one of the ladies and another employee and they both agreed that they were uneven and asked if I wanted her to fix them and I said no. I was scared she would mess them up even more. I still had to pay 8 dollars which it doesn't matter but the one who did them didn't even say anything and she knew. It's a shame cause they did a great job on my friends nails and were very friendly. I usually like to go get my nails and eyebrows done at the same place. I don't think I'll come back to tic tac. Maggie's Salon was absolutely amazing organizing many hair and makeup appointments for my wedding day! We were able to bring breakfast and spend the morning there and all my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I came in without an appointment to get a pedicure so it was nice I was able to be fit in. The Downside was she convinced me to do gel on my toe nails and when I told her what color I wanted she went to go get it, I guess apparently they were out of that color so she picks her own color of her liking and tells me she is going to put that one on me, I'm very polite so I said ok because I don't like to make waves but I wasn't happy with the fact that she didn't ask me to pick a new color of my choosing. I went to Maggie's Salon last Friday after waiting for an appointment with Maggie herself for two months. And frankly, all the NY and Westchester salons that I have been to in my life none have ever gotten my hair right!!!!!!! Maggie is as amazing as everyone says she is. She listened to me talk about my hair, about what it will do and won't do and what I can't do (hold a dryer and brush for 10 minutes) any more due to arthritis. My hair wasn't always naturally curly but it is now and on MV with the humidity I just have to run with the curls. I've never had a professional stylist get it as right as Maggie did. Pros they were able to fit me in without an appt and the woman doing my gel mani was very sweet. Cons the woman doing my gel pedi cut me twice! Not awesome, to the extent that she had to keep applying pressure to one of my toes to try and stop the bleeding but it didn't work.My nails started chipping 3 days later.  What a waste.  I was traveling and had to get them done again. I had made a 9:30 appointment and ended up having to wait until 9:55 to actually be seen. Right when they opened there was only one lady there to work while two other women showed up after me to get their nails done. They did not have an appointment and the lady who was working there set them up before myself. I let her know I was in somewhat of a hurry due to work and she said someone would be right in. I had me feet soaking for thirty minutes while waiting for the other ladies to arrive. Two ladies then came and helped me out with my mani/pedi. The one who did my pedicure did a fantastic job and finished in a timely matter. However, the women who was working on my manicure did a horrendous job and because she took so long I couldn't ask her to fix it. She did not apply the nail polish to my full nails and did not even cut my cuticles down. The next day four of my fingers were already chipped.I usually have a great experience at this place, but man did this time suck. They should be ready for a busy start when opening up and if they cant be ready then they need to not take appointments for that time. Read Less

I love this place. I live walking distance and have been coming here for several years. Top notch service. I get manicures (gel nails), pedicures every couple weeks and eyebrow waxing once in a while. They always do an amazing job and you can tell they take pride in their work. If I could have Jenny as a technician every time, I would give this place a better review. There is another technician that I happen to get once in awhile and every time it is horrible. She is inconvenienced, rude and actually tried to pick a fight with me yesterday when I was in there. I usually spend around $50 when I go in. I choose an item from the menu and most people are happy to just serve it up. This time, the gal said, "We don't do it that way here" even though I didn't request a certain method. Pointed to the menu for a pedicure and she said that was only for manicures! Last time she worked on my hands, she made me bleed. This time, my foot was just short of bleeding and today it is very sore. She uses cuticle remover instead of callus remover, massage was about 2 minutes. Then she disappeared in the back for around 7 minutes. After that, she said something very negative in her native language causing the other technicians to look at me in horror! After two years going here, I regret that I am going to be forced to find a new salon. Very unfortunate that one person can cause so much havoc and cause the place to lose customers. Read Less

$28 for Regular Mani/\Pedi's We were out on vacation near Dana Point/Laguna Beach area and I wanted to spoil myself with a mani/pedi. I normally do my own nails but I hate cleaning the nails and cuticles. Its so hard to do it on both hands - I'm not so ambi :P Pro's: No waiting: we called in prior to arriving but they had plently of techs on hand to help with walk in'sClean salon - they were even installing brand new chairs when I arrived. I got to sit in one of the new ones. Friendly ladies - They were complimenting me on my nail art and jeweleryExceptional job cleaning the nail bed and cuticle area - I had an ingrown toenail and the lady working on me was really careful not to dig in too deep. Great 5 min massage on my neck and shoulders Comfy Experience overall - i was very relaxed until they started painting my nails Con's: Nail Polish application needs improvement - maybe it's because I have super high expectations when it comes to nail art and application but I have yet to find a place that will do what I can do to my own nails. They applied my nail color all goopy and stuff and missed some sides of my nails.  Top coat didn't "seal" all the edges and sides. I had to wave my hands outside of the car to our next destination for almost 25 mins before I was comfortable digging for things out of my bag. I went in for $28 mani pedi and was charged $41 - not sure how the math worked out because I had my soak off nail polish removed which should be $5 and flowers on my big toes for another $5. Plus I had some callus removal work done... $4? All in All: I might come again or try out another one of the billions in this area. If you see someone with exceptional nail art, keep in mind of their high expectations and everything is gonna have to be perfect.. At least now I can do my own nails again without having to do all that prep work. :) Read Less

I love Tic Tac Nails Salon!  They are very professional and carry the latest gel and spa products. Jenny is the owner and she is so down to earth and sees you are well pampered.  Some of the other girl's are Hanna, Mimi, Kim and Lonnie. There are more girl's there as well to assist you if you are a walk in or make an appointment.  They do permanent eyelashes, waxing and massages besides manicures, pedicures and full sets.  Several of my friends and myself have been going to Jenny for year's! The girls are great here! Jenny does the best facials! I just also got my lashes done by her and OMG! Will load photos in a second! My first set was literally half off of other places i've called. Call and ask or go there...its affordable and amazing I'll be loading a photo of it in a second! There was this lady that was raving about her facials by Jen and of course, everyone does but seriously, I got a Euro facial and Jen was very thorough with extracting all the nasty stuff that you get when you dont remove your makeup all hte way and build up.  It was the most thorough massage and facial I've ever received. She uses Dermologica so if your skin is sensitive like mine, you can't go wrong.Angelica was new and first did my nails. Anyone there that has done my pedicure was awesome! This location is clean and hidden there on a one way street on both sides so you can easily miss it. It is located in the same plaza as Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. Clean, friendly staff, some do not speak English but thats common at some of these nail places. The prices are just what you expect but they always have coupon specials and flyers. I like this place and glad that it is just less than 5 minutes from my house! They are closed on Sundays.Oh, and Jenny was sweet enough to take in the business and stay pass the time of closing.
