My wife has been getting her nails done for 45 years. Always acrylics and she has tried salons all over the United States. Today she says she had the best job today at this easy to access location. She says she would give them a six star rating if she could. She also was able to try the new SNS powder gel coating. It made her nails look just the way she always wished they would. Great Job! I have been coming to this place for years. It is always clean and all the ladies are very friendly. I don't go to the same person ever time because they are all that good. I always get both manicure and pedicure. My schedule is such that I need to go in last minute and they are usually accommodating. Sometimes there is a short wait but worth it if you didn't think ahead to make an appointment like me. Top quality work - FYI I am very particular. Read Less

In my opinion one of the best nail salons in the country and I have visited many. By far the best in Dana Point. Clean and relaxing and they do a good job on my cuticles and the nail polish stays on and looks good for more then 2 days and I do not use jell. A little more money but well worth it. I'm puzzled how this spot can be so busy for the quality of work that's provided. Worst customer service, quality and service I've ever received. Almost to the point of being laughable. The manager seems to be the only person who speaks English or responds when being spoken too. She literally had to show the 2 employees how to dab sparkle on a top coat. I mean  it's not rocket science guys. I actually bled and had pain walking after lol like wtf happened lol The managers husband came in and literally 2 employees came over to me while the 2 people were working on me and huddled facing me and their backs to the manager and talked shit about her and the husband. Like wtf. So awkward. I'll be sure to not recommend or visit again. Not to mention I got my nails done on Friday and it's only Monday! I need my nails done already !!!!!! I noticed when I left they didn't even meet the paint anywhere near the cuticle or the edges of nail lol. Came here on a whim because I was looking for a nail place in the area.  The inside was nice, clean and they had a huge selection of nail colors.  I got a gel mani and my nail technician paid a lot of attention to my nails.  She also applied many coats of the polish.  Service was pleasant and friendly.  Only thing is that after 2 weeks, my thumb nail's polish chipped off.  I like to think this is because the brand they used was different than one I had used before.  In the past I never had my gel nails chip until 4+ weeks went by.  I have very strong nails in general.  The only reason I've had to remove my gel polish before was because my nails had grown out so much.  Still, this is not a bad place if you need a manicure done.  Prices are fair for being close to PCH. Walked in as they were setting up to open and asked if they had availabilities to get 2 pedicures and was told yes. I asked of they needed a few more minutes to get ready and the lady thanked me and said yes please so I told her I would run and grab a coffee and come back. Return only to be told they don't have any room and I need to wait because someone made an appointment even though I was told they'd hold our spots until we returned. Sorry but you've lost my business for good after that. It's not ok yo tell someone they'll keep room for you and then give away your spots like that. Read Less

Such a great first impression. I went to forever nails for years but they started to get more and more expensive and I was never overly impressed by their customer service. I felt like each time I went there they tried to get me to pay a different price for the same service and as a loyal customer it rubbed me the wrong way. I decided to try new salons and after a couple bad experiences I found this one. The salon is super clean, it has a nice environment. I was seated right away for my new set, with gel polish, and pedicure. They did a wonderful job and really took their time to make sure I liked how it looked. The massage chairs were also the most comfortable ones I have ever sat in, it actually feels like you're getting a massage. They also have free bottles of water, candies and a TV with all the useful video clips about how to do make up, hair....(Such a great idea). On top of the cute shop and excellent service, the prices can't be beat for the quality you get. The pedicure is only $25 and manicure is $20. Very Highly Recommend. Read Less

This is possibly the worst nail salon I have ever been too. I got a full set. The lady didn't listen when I asked for them to be shorter and the white tips are all different lengths on each nail. The sides are uneven and one has chipped already. I also asked for an ombré French and got a pink and white nail with a hard white line. On almost every single nail you can see the glue line. I have been to Paradise Nails a few times and most recently realized it is the best place in Dana Point/Monarch Beach. I love how professional the employees are and they create a very calming, relaxing environment for their clients. The salon is very nice, smells good and the pedicure chairs are great. I like the color selections available for polish and the way they apply it and/or the products they use, stay on for a long time. I would highly recommend this salon. It's best to make an appointment but sometimes you can walk-in. In the summer or busy holiday weekends, definitely make an appointment. :) Read Less

Even tough the outcome of my nails looked decent, I was not impressed by how rushed and unskilled the nail tech (Stacy) was with SNS nails. She did not wait for the acetone to penetrate my old sns nails, so the removal process took way longer than necessary and she had to use the drill for a long time, which could have been avoided if she let the acetone sit for more than 2 minutes. Also she did not take her time while shaping my nails and they were all crooked and had to ask multiple times for them to be square and not round. Overall not too impressed for a place that has a nice atmosphere. Take your time with clients that have appointments please. Read Less

I went here particularly because the nail salon touts that all of their implements  are  autoclaved. When my nail tech  presented the packet of implements,  I asked, "Are these autoclaved?"My nail tech said "No not yet." I said, " I want my implements  autoclaved ." So she took the pouch and then left and came back with another pouch with the appropriate indicator marks.   I know that just because the implements are in a sealed packet, that doesn't necessarily mean they are autoclaved.  There are indicator marks on the packet that let you know they have been put through the sanitation process.   The pouch in front of me obviously had not been  through the autoclave process. This may seem insignificant to you, but if you have ever had an infection or a nail fungus, it is everything!!  Especially when a salon says that they autoclave all of their implements and put it in their advertising. Usually the lady helping you doesn't converse much but she knows how to speak with clients. I will definitely see her again. The manager who greeted me was friendly too. I just went here today because I was told they do the SNS dipping powder gels.  This was important because the other copy cat dipping powders are NOT equal or as healthy.   I am sooooo happy I came.  They did a great job and I'm picky. I was doing bio sculpture gels but they just chip or peel.  I heard about this and had it done close to my work and loved. Wanted to find a closer to home location. This salon is super clean.  It's quiet and the people are very nice.  The prices are on par with other places that do SNS.  Gel pedicure was kind of high for what you get.  Any pedi version you have to add $20 on top for gel polish.  Considering one gel polish is $15 for the average person I feel that the pedi price should include any polish but I got the $25 pedi and added the $20 for gel. It lasts longer and they did a good job.  Would have liked a longer massage but you can get that with a higher end spa pedi. I will return to this place. Hope they stay clean and nice. Read Less

I was a guest at the Ritz Carlton and they couldn't accommodate my 2 girls and I for a mother daughter day- that was the 1 yr anniversary of their fathers passing - hence - I found this place, since only the girls were taken. Don't get me wrong - Susan and Nancy are great- but this place- IS putting on the ritz!!! Truly the BEST mani pedi EVER-- and I'm a world traveler. They rolled out the red carpet. They are all very polite and happy - this comes through in their work as well. I had the works done. I look and feel incredible. It was probably better than my kids services, so I'm feeling bad they didn't get to experience. Very clean, and just incredibly professional. This is THE BEST for nails and other services they offer.
