Got a gel manicure and it lasted a week before chipping off. I usually go to Loma Spa but I called last minute and they were all booked so I had to book here. Usually my nails always last at least 2 weeks (or more) with a lot of use. The lady that did my nails used some sort of foam to massage my hands after she was finished, which lasted 15 seconds and did not even hydrate my hands. In fact, I would have rather skipped having that foam put on my hands. It felt gross and sticky. Why wouldn't she use lotion?  The service was not great. The price was decent but now I know why. I would recommend Loma Spa located on De Anza. They are incredible. Read Less

Did an acrylic fill in here, flawless shaping done by Ann. Just beware that some colors are see through and your natural nails may show. I posted a picture of mine I hated it then went back and got them repainted. They did charge me for the color change though. Shaping and painting done by Ann. Read Less

This place is a gem in Cupertino. All the ladies here take their time doing their work, making sure that you are satisfied with the end product. $32 is a great deal for a basic manicure/pedicure.  I recommend this place to all my friends. Read Less

Can't beat the price.  Gel was only $25!! BoomI got one of the older ladies, she was rough but quick. She had a very hasty presence to her, definitely pick her if you want it done fast, otherwise if you want to be pampered then don't pick her. (I didn't have a choice, plus it was my first time) she can definitely be a bit more gentle on scraping off the old gel. Anyways, I thought it was going to be a bad job, but turned out pretty good. Since my school program doesn't allow any polish on the nails, I had to have my beloved gel stripped away yesterday. I stopped into Fabulous Nails since it's close to campus and in the same parking lot as a boba place I like (Quickly) and luckily a manicurist was available to take me right away. The shop is fairly outdated and not much for looking at but the gals working are beyond nice and the girl who handled my gel take-off was incredibly thorough and gentle throughout the process. When I told her I didn't have time to do a full mani, she still shaped and filed my nails and took care of a few of my troublemaker cuticles at no extra charge. I probably won't have the occasion to come back here, but I was very grateful to have had such good service.Cannot attest to the quality of the manicures or pedicures, but the location is good and the nail techs are kind. Mina is great at doing nails - I like the holographic chrome gel polish and she has done the best job yet out of 6 or 7 different salons. Some places skimp on the holographic powder (to save a few pennies, I guess) but she really did a wonderful job of applying it so that every part of my nail was covered and they just glow in the sunlight! I don't live locally, but visit often, and I'll be visiting Mina whenever I'm in town. Read Less

Came to get a gel manicure on a Saturday a few months ago. I called in around half an hour before coming in, and there was no problem. The staff are very nice and don't really speak in Viet in front of their customers for those people who worry about them talking smack about them in another language. They had a pretty nice selection of colors for the shellac gel (I chose a baby blue), and Ann is seriously good at her job. My nails were very even, no weird lumps and I got so many compliments on them! They did end up staining black a little after a night out, not sure if that is something that usually happens with gel nails. I wouldn't know because I usually get darker colors. Overall the place is pretty spacious, there were 3 manicurists working when I went. There wasn't a wait but there is a nice little sofa and magazines in the waiting area. Got shellac gel two summers ago no problem. The people were very nice. BUT this time I got my nails done and Ann put a small flower design on my nails for me. I thought she was just being nice. BUT she did not tell me that it was an extra five dollars. I made sure in the beginning I was paying for $25 and they expected me to pay $30. She tried to sneak extra money out of me! I've been coming to Fabulous Nails for over five years. Mina always does my nails--crystal pink and white--to perfection. Occasionally she paints a design on them for the holidays. She's superb. The pedicures are also wonderful, particularly by Thai (although they are all great!  I always get the deluxe with salt scrub and wax on my feet and hands. Luxurious! I find them incredibly reasonable for the price, and everyone there is so friendly and cheerful. Great place to spend a couple hours of pampering. Read Less

The older lady who did my pedicure did a bad job. She didn't clip or clean around the nails, nor did she do any work on the cuticles. Only one layer of polish (might be even fake OPI since it comes off already), also no hardner or protector over it. I wasn't paying attention during the pedicure, my mistake. I just assumed all of this was standard. 30 bucks for this pedicure, I'm definitely not going there again. Read Less

The manicurist (an old woman, persumably in her late 30s) made my finger bleed when she was using the nail filer. She immediately said sorry and said that it was because the nail filer is new (arent you supposed to use a new nail filer for every client tho? Not sure). Nail art is ok from afar but from up close it looks very sloppy. Overall she was a very kind woman but I left the salon feeling unpleasant because my finger bleed. Read Less

If I needed to get super fancy acrylic nails, I wouldn't come here. But if I just need to get my mani pedi routine, which is usually just a solid color without any designs, I like coming here cus last time I checked, a gel shellac mani is cheaper here than other places? And also it's pretty close to my house. However, with the fancier designs I just feel like their skills aren't good enough? Like it looks sloppier than other more expensive nail places that I've been to. So when I just need an regular mani pedi, I come here! And also their pedi spa thing is pretty cheap and very relaxing! I asked multiple times for coffin shaped nails but she cut them way too short and kept reassuring me it would look fine. Of course if u cut one nail too short they're all gonna be short -_- However, she was really good at her job, she did a perfect job at taking her time and kept things cleanAfter she told me the price was 30 when their signs said 20 for gel fill and 18 for regular fills??Wtfffff she gave me some excuse and her coworkers backed her up even tho I kept pointing at the signI never wanna argue with ppl that work at nail salons bc they're busy every day breathing in all those fumes....but I really don't appreciate them lying to me about the price and changing the length on my nails Read Less

I came to this salon by mistake but it was the best mistake, totally love the salon, love the service and especially love my girl Ann or as she says "Sexy Ann" does an awesome job, very sweet and friendly to everyone.  I love that its close to my work. Love coming here for pampering! The deluxe pedicure is a must, the orange salt scrub followed up with a paraffin wax foot treatment leaves my feet like satin. Mina does the very best set of gel nails, they are always perfect and super durable. I often have a hard time deciding on colors and designs, she is so creative and is always willing to try new techniques and styles.Everyone at Fabulous Nails is friendly, helpful and fun. Eh not great but not terrible. The ladies were nice and I was helped right away. Definitively not a 5 star place but it gets the job done when your nails are in an emergency state.It's not a super clean salon. The decor is a little dusty and outdated. The lady that did my nails did little things that reflect their cheaper prices. The nail polish I chose was really low, she got up and added some liquid to it. Even with putting 3 layers, in the sunlight I can see how thin the paint job is. One of my nails was in bad shape and instead of just redoing the whole thing she kept trying to fix the problem with more layers and layers of gel making it chunky and misshaped.The dry machines that they have are old and need to be replaced. I sat there and pressed the start button 7 times because the fan didn't work well.In the end my manicure actually looks good! But the process getting there was a little rough. I'm not a picky person and I might come back. But if you're looking for a deluxe high end salon this isn't it. Read Less

Got a shellac manicure a long with a regular pedicure. It has been a week since I got the shellac done and my nails still look perfect! They have a good variety of colors. The ladies were very friendly and efficient. I really appreciate their attention to detail. The pedicure was very relaxing as well. The reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt a little pressured by the lady about getting a design on my toes. She asked me 4 times if I wanted a design and each time I said no. Even after I said no, she placed the design palette in my lap afterwards.Overall, great experience! I will probably go back. Read Less
