5/5 service and 5/5 results!!My lashes have never looked so beautiful or so long! The basic lash lift look less than an hour (maybe 45 minutes?) and left me looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! As someone with "cow eyelashes", as I call them, my lashes naturally face downwards rather than up or even straight. By getting the lash lift, my eyes look bigger and brighter, and my lashes stand out loud and proud! Had a lash lift done back in April by Dez. Although I really enjoyed her professionalism, I just have had the worst post lift experience. When she first met me, she was a little surprised at how long my lashes were. Not sure if my natural length had anything to do with the outcome, but it seemed like she was a little uncertain with how to proceed. Nonetheless at first, they looked gorgeous! A few lashes were bent and out of shape but the rest looked amazing. Such a bummer that within no time my lashes started to fall out and bend worse/in weird shapes once they started to grow. I really wish I saw more  reviews before committing to the lift (my fault) because I don't want anyone else to experience losing/damaging their natural lashes. It's so disheartening :/She wasn't very timely with her response but she did eventually get back to me and offer some suggestions, although they haven't helped. Last resort they do offer a relaxing treatment, but given the lessened amount of lashes I have left, not sure if taking that chance is worth it. Really hope others have a better experience with their lashes once they start growing post lift. The first photo was taken in May- still had some fullness but notice the shapes. I got a lash lift done. The first week I loved it. My lashes looked amazing. And then they started curling weird. They said I come back get it fixed but I had an emergency and couldn't make it. Now 3 weeks out, they are just a complete mess! The curl is super funky. And the new lashes growing in are obviously straight but you can't curl them with a lash curler because it makes the ones already curled even worse. Also side note. I like to wear eye liner and was not able to wear any this whole process. Anyways I do not think I'll be going back which is to bad I was hoping it would be something I was going to be happy with. Let me start by saying that this was my first lash treatment ever! I have extremely oily eyelids and mascara gets all over them so I wanted to try something different. After searing yelp and IG I came across pop lash and I'm so happy I did! When I first got to the location I saw a sign that said Pop Society downstairs(super cute in there btw). I had a feeling it wasn't the right place when I walked in, but the girl inside told me where to go (they're in the back of the building) and I had no problems after that. Today got the keratin lash perm and tiny with Jammy (spelling?) and it was AMAZING. Worth every single penny! I usually am super fidgety when I get my eyes done, or my back hurts from the table or chair, but today I almost fell asleep! The place is beautiful, so chic inside and VERY CLEAN. LOVE THE LASH LIFT!!!I had been getting lash extensions for a little over a year, which looked fabulous but the maintenance/upkeep just became too much (time & money) + it was taking a toll on the health of my lashes (became shorter & straighter from the weight of the extensions). So I was OVERJOYED to discover lash lifts courtesy of Dez's amazing Instagram page (@dezjulianminel for fab lash inspiration). My inner monologue was like:YOUR REAL LASHES COULD LOOK PERFECTLY CURLED AND AMAZING?! Sign me up! The experience at POP Lash was great--very clean and serene. All in all it took about an hour, and with your eyes closed the whole time it's basically an adult nap time! I want to give Pop Lash 5 stars; however, it took the third time for me to go there to get the perfect service and outcome. My first time I went, I waited about twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I got classic lashes done & was explained the process of the different lashes such as volume & classic. Also, they fully cleaned my lashes before applying the extensions! So I decided to book another appointment, sadly the girl I wanted was booked. The second time I came back made me upset with the overall service. This time it was a different girl. She did NOT clean my lashes at all, she asked me if I had already cleaned them but I told her that I had a hard time taking some of my glitter off. She probably just swabbed a q-tip on my eyelashes but it wasn't as thorough as the first time I got them. Secondly, she kept stabbing me with the tweezers or messing up, it hurt so much. And the finish product was not appealing at all.. she hardly applied anything or maybe it was her technique because it fell off during the first week. Lastly, she told me the bill was $65. I was told that it would be $60 for a touch up, assuming maybe the price went up I gave her $65 & when I looked at the online receipt it said $55.. like was she trying to scam me.. the receipt doesn't even show how much cash I gave so it felt useless to confront her. FINALLY, the savior & why I love pop lash, because of DEZ!! She was perfect, she gave me some tips on how to grow my lashes, she thoroughly cleaned my lashes (I love you for that), and they came out PERFECT. Exactly what I wanted and she was super sweet. I've never really heard about lash lifts before until I saw one of my girl friends recently do it. I would usually just get lash extensions but it isn't really practical for me at the moment since I've just been studying for my exams and I haven't really been going out. Don't get me wrong..I LOVE the look of lash extensions but there's just no point for me right now since I've just been going on dates with my textbooks everyday. I personally have pretty long lashes for an asian, but it never stays fully curled after an eyelash curler. I've tried everything from holding the lash curler longer and harder to even heating the curler up with a blowdryer. The mascara would always weigh it down so deciding to try this lash lift was literally the best decision EVER! Lash lifts usually last around 6-9 weeks (or 12 weeks I think? if you get the Keratin treatment) whereas lash extensions last around 3-4 weeks. I definitely have to give my girl Mylene a HUGEE shoutout for doing such a spectacular job on my lashes! The process itself did not take a long time and it was pain free. She's seriously the sweetest and would ask me if I was doing alright during the process or if I was feeling any discomfort. My lashes have never looked so long and full and I'm constantly getting compliments on them. Will definitely be back to try the Keratin eyelash treatment next time! Read Less
