All these studios are perfectly polished! My review is for the flagship studio. I love the aesthetics of the space and custom furnishings and decorations. It's upscale and very elegant- and always clean! I received a friendly welcome and of course enjoyed the complimentary beverages. This time I received 1 glass of champagne. My stylist, Janette Dang, was brilliant and lived up to her IG photos. She started our session by listening to what I wanted (the customer), which I highly value. I've used this salon for nails 5 times and will continue to come back due to the overall experience. The hot bowl for your foot bath is definitely the highlight. The callous treatment is gentle but thorough. They are professionals and do not fluctuate the price by adding $5-$20 onto your treatment. Prices are in black and white. Their spa products for your feet and legs are gentle; I've never experienced an allergy to their cream or scrub. You can buy their product line with fragrance or without. The salon is very clean. I have been getting my nails done here for the last few months and the service is always over the top amazing!I am kindly greeted every single time I walk through the door. I don't have to wait to be acknowledged and am offered a refreshment as I pick out my colors for my services. Austin at the front is personable and super sweet. He even complimented me on those days I was looking a bit rough which really picked up my spirit. Amanda does a spectacular job every. single. time. Even on a busy day there's something very calming about the luxe atmosphere at Polished Perfect. I've been here several times and the nail technicians are always cheerful, good at what they do, and chat with you as much or as little as you want depending on your mood. Great pedicure service! I've been here about 5 times now between this location and the Baker one and every time my pedicure has lasted 4 weeks without any chipping and I only get lacquer not gel! That alone justifies their prices in my opinion. I love the scrub they use for your feet it is super abrasive (which I need!) and smells amazingly fruity and sweet. I have had different technicians every time and they all have been great and have meticulously filed and shaped my toenails. I don't usually get a fancy pedicure accept for special occasions. Unfortunately I have had issues with ingrown toe-nails on my big toes. I called the salon and was able to get in right away. Made an appointment about a week in advance with Janette for a blonde balayage/ombré and was definitely not disappointed with her work at all. She is so talented and knows exactly how light your hair can handle in one session, goes into great detail about what she will be doing to your hair and makes sure to give you what you're looking for. I made an appointment on Saturday to color my white roots on Monday. I was concerned, I'd never been to this salon before and coloring white hair can be tricky but... this Salon looked sleek, modern and CLEAN. JEANETTE was my colorist and aware of my concerns. She studied my color and went to work... Jeanette did an EXCELLENT job. My hair color was rich and beautiful. I was HAPPY to pay the charge. I will definitely return. The only reason I'm giving it one star is for ambience, even though there's hardly ever any customers there in the nail salon side.. One issue is the way they laid out the "overstuffed" nail salon chairs and installed them right against the bowl leaving a small area in order to walk and sit in the chair. I was never shown that you need someone to twist the chair and enter sideways, and got my ankle stuck between the chair and the bowl and twisted it.  It could have broken. I had black bruises on both sides of my ankle for weeks. I thought I'd even give them another chance and went back again as it was a convenient location...giving them the benefit of the doubt. The nail technician with a bad attitude scrubbed the side of my foot absolutely raw and that took 2 weeks to heal..along with the over-scrubbing on the bottom of my feet that left them so rough it hurt. I had heal crack fissures from it that never existed before. And I pay for this?!! The other HUGE issue is the "Twila True" nail polish that they market as being  free of 5 toxic chemicals (out of 7) was anything but!! That nail polish horrendously ate away into my toe nail beds and two of them on my big toes broke in half, halfway down. OUCH! I was astonished at the lack of quality in the polish and someone is not well versed in the toxins that are in polish and have the gall to market theirs as a "safe alternative". It's been 4 months and I'm still healing my toenails from their TOXIC POLISH. Just google toxic nail polish and you'll be shocked at what's in it. Theirs is the worst I've ever experienced and they should be ashamed of branding their name on it and misleading their customers!! Twila's brand is anything but true. Read Less

Pretty disappointed :( I made an apt online to make sure my mani and pedi were done at the same time. when i arrived they were about 15 mins late taking me and no one who was free set up the station ahead of time.  I had to ask both the front desk and my pedicurist for my manicure to be done simultaneously.  No messaging chairs, the foot message was probably less than 1 minute and i didn't get a hand message at all :( I thought those were always included? The disposable slippers immediately broke off my feet so i was barefoot walking to my car!  Even if they were normally priced i wouldn't go back.update-still didn't hear from customer service to discuss my experience despite their comment below. I don't even know where to start. I don't get mani pedis frequently but on a whim I invited my sister and mom to go on Mother's Day. I thought this would be a nice special occasion place. It sells itself as being spa-like. So wrong! We went to the one in Brea. Aside from my girl giving me a papercut along my pinky finger with the nail file, she was okay. Nice enough. But man that damn cut gets! She attempted baseball nail art too but didn't charge me. Which is perfect because... it's very "Pinterest fail" looking. My moms lady was a nightmare. She was so aggressive and rude. I felt so bad for my mom. She just went on and on about the SNS my mom had on her nails. She didn't know exactly what it was but went on and on about how it's not what my mom thinks it is. My mom likes her damn SNS so get over it. My mom just sat there quietly. We should've left. this was all about the removal of it...which had never been a problem anywhere else my mom has gone too. Plus my my mom knew ahead of time they didn't do SNS and decided to do gels but she just kept going on. Also about her menopause, all her jobs in her life, her nails, she complained about the younger staff. My sisters girl seemed pretty cool. We we're the only customers in there. The two girls at the front desk were useless and pretty unprofessional. Some friend if theirs had gels done and just left. Didn't seem to pay. The security guard for la floresta just hung out with them, sitting quite comfortably while I felt held hostage by the most uncomfortable experience. I was offered a mimosa, I said yes! And never got it. My sister mentioned I would like one and they brought me water. At the end I was offered a mimosa again said yes again and the nail tech had to find someone to get it for me. I was done with my mani pedi at this point just waiting for my mom and sister. If the decor didn't look nice I would've thought I was in a real $h!t hole. Well, I gave these guys a second chance today to see if my experience the first time was just a fluke. It wasn't. I have two words for these guys:  PAY ATTENTION. Pay attention to what the notes say on my account, pay attention to what you just asked me TWO SECONDS AGO and follow through with it. Pass the notes on my account on to the technician. I didn't speak up about what was on my account because, I shouldn't have to, and guess what- they didn't notice. I was even offered a coffee, (which I never got) because the kid 'forgot' and ran off to stand around with the two other boys standing around. Come on.. really guys?  I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE FOR NAILS. So the first time I came in I was very rushed and was unable to add extra massage to my pedicure, because she had 'another appointment'. (BTW they were also 15 min late seeing me). I'm sorry, but I didn't have gels to remove or anything so this was unacceptable. Working in tandem, how long DO you allot for a mani-pedi? Just curious. Also that first time, the front desk girl told me my next appointment would be comped (which is very generous) and she would make a note about the extra massage. Well I came in for a second appointment and I didn't get the extra massage AGAIN today and no one noticed the service was comped until I mentioned it. (That was embarrassing). The front desk girl apologized for this. Poor thing. Just pay attention guys; service industry patrons count on your being on point, prompt, and professional. Sadly, I don't think I will be back. Because if they invited me back I would just feel they would be trying too hard and feel really weird. It's not worth the trouble. The people are nice, but no one has their you know what together. Had my hair done last week with Joshua. First time to his new salon there at polished perfect. What a gorgeous salon. The nicest I've ever been to in fact. Can't believe they have a full coffee bar. So Josh did my hair color which looks freakin great! And I also got a Brazilian keratin treatment and omg I am so happy with it! My hair is incredibly smooth and shiny. I just blow dried it for the first time myself last night and it styled perfectly in 10 minutes with no hair product and only a paddle brush. If you're like me with little hair styling skill but like a sleek hair style go see josh and get a great deal on a Brazilian keratin treatment. Only $250 for 4 months of easy hairstyling every day at home. I like that they have a dedicated room for this service with exhaust fans to air it out to help with the fumes. Helped a lot. I've been searching for a new salon for mani / pedis for quite a while now. I thought I'd give Polished Perfect a try. The OC Minx was on my list to try in Laguna Beach but when I called, I found out that Mary Ann had moved to be the manager of the 17th Street location. When I spoke with Mary Ann on the phone, she offered me a discount for my first visit and indicated that it would be notated in the computer system - it was not given to me. The girl that did my manicure, Melissa, did a very nice job. She didn't over file my nails and they looked really nice. Unfortunately, as chance would have it, it was her last day. The girl that did my pedicure did an average job. They looked okay but were not up to my standards. I will say that the mani / pedi lasted a long time - I went on vacation to Cancun and not a chip in sight! Five stars for that!On my next visit, I had to wait until the pedicure was half way completed for the manicurist. Well, not exactly the manicurist. A young girl who approached her job like she'd never given a manicure before came over to remove the gel on my nails. I usually remove it prior to my next manicure but I didn't have time to do so before this appointment. Instead of scuffing the top coat and then using the solution to remove the gel, she proceeded to use an emery board to remove the gel. Needless to say, my nails are now so thin that they began to rip from the sides. My fingernails that were once long and beautiful are now short and thin because I had to cut them to stop the ripping. I DO NOT HAVE THIN NAILS as you can see from the photo.The pedicures are so-so. I have very sensitive feet and I make sure that I indicate tell the receptionist at any salon I use that this is the case. I request a pedicurist that is gentle. The last pedicurist, while thorough, did not have the gentlest of touches. I really cannot recommend this salon.For the amount that this place charges for its services, I would expect more experienced technicians. By the time one tips out, it runs around $85. I don't mind paying for any services whether it's for a hair appointment, a facial, or a mani / pedi. I do; however, expect the services rendered to be exceptional, especially at the prices that are charged.On a side note, on my first visit, a good majority of the technicians were in front of the salon sitting at the little bistro tables smoking. They had a look of disdain on their faces for anyone that parked in front of the salon. As if they were saying: "you're not dressed as fashionably as I" or "You drive a crap car".
