If you ever go back a couple days after you've done nails with chips they will try to convince you to do nails all over with fees. The owner Michelle gave me bad treatment just for going back, she picked my chipped nails until it ripped my nails, she sanded down super thin and made them sensitive. I told her I can pay to fix since the beginning. I wasn't looking for a freebie:/ The last few times I picked the neutral colors and have had bad luck! Either the nail polish is old or they sold Michelle old colors. According to her, I had acrylic even though I told her several times I have gel and I have been coming here for years. I rarely love my nails when I get them done, but I left La Belle really happy and satisfied! I made an appointment through Yelp for a Friday at 1:30pm. I got there at 1:30 and had to wait a little. If you come on the weekend... I would highly recommend making an appointment! During my time there, the front area was full of people who wanted their nails done. I heard that the wait time was about 45min. Save yourself some time and request an appointment though Yelp. It's fast and easy.I got a gel manicure by Cindy and it turned out great! She shaped my nails the way I wanted and made sure that I liked the way it turned out. She also made sure that I was okay with the color after painting the first nail. It's been a little over two weeks and my manicure is still perfect. No chips. It was $24 for a gel manicure. I didn't have cash so I paid with credit card, which has a $0.50 fee. I'll need to remember to bring cash next time. They only accept tips in cash... I only had a two dollars... but a girl next to me was kind enough to give me some cash after I told her I would venmo her. Read Less

I love Labella Nail !!! I went here abt 4-5 times with my mom ... but I was soooo happy every each time to walk out . The owner Michele is extremely sweet & she take great care abt me & my mom & always make sure that everything is good . I did my manis acrylic powder and I love Lucy , she knows I'm a supa picky wz my nail , she is so patient wz my nail , she goes above and beyond whatever I want , she will do it & do a great job on it . $16 for a spa pedicure. I came here because it was cheap and highly rated. I made an appointment through Yelp which was not necessary because they didn't even ask for my name when I got there. The entire service took 20 mins flat. Customer Service was poor. I felt like the entire service was rushed after she found out I just wanted a regular spa pedicure. When she was "massaging" my calves and feet, she was just staring at the door. What was the point of massaging me? LOL she did not put any pressure at all nor was she paying any attention. It felt so weird. After she finished painting my nails, she told me to sit and wait for my nails to dry. She just left and never came back to check on me. The paint on my toe nails was poorly done. This place is a mad house, it's super busy and based on the other reviews it seems as if that's how it always is. So, keep that in mind before coming here if you're in a rush. The atmosphere was far from what I anticipated compared to my experiences at other nail salons. This place was pretty darn loud and chaotic. The ladies are sweet and all but if you like a simple gel mani/pedi or just mani/pedi than be prepared to be rushed. Looking at other more positive reviews it does seem like they do well with acrylics and take more time with them. But its possible this is true because they are forced to due to the fact that it's a different process.However, my primary compliant is the fact that they rushed and did the basic steps poorly. The cuticle work was very poor on both my feet and hands. So much so my hands looked almost worse. The water in the spa chair was cold. Really good color selection though.Now, I will say that they main lady did seem to be willing to fix any issues that I had. Because she did ask if I was happy. And honestly I did say I was happy. But truthfully I just wanted to get out of there. I am sure you would understand my logic here which is why complain if when you fix it they are just going to bee-ouch about it in another language. It's uncomfortable and I would rather go somewhere where they can do the basics right the first time around. Lastly, the atmosphere here just is too chaotic. My friend and I came to this nail salon last night around 6 o'clock. There was a 35 minute wait which didn't really bother me I assumed it was because it was a great place.. I decided to get gel manicure and pedicure. Everything was going fine. I didn't realize the place closed at 7 and we were one of the last ones being worked on and I couldn't help but feel like the girls helping me started to kind of rush while working on my nails. I ignored it because I was like well they want to get home I came in late whatever, but once they were close to finishing one of the girls (the one doing my manicure) says "Oh are you paying cash so you can tip me now". I said no I'm paying with card. She proceeds to go on about how cash is better because I can tip her before she leaves for the day. This is my first time pampering myself since baby and I didn't want to get badgered about a tip before my nails were even finished... So anyway they finished and I'm waiting for my friend and they said oh just come pay before we leave. Ok fine...my total was 55 dollars at first then she said 59.. THAN she goes oh nevermind 57 ! Like what?!  I give her my card, they asked me several times to just use the ATM so I can tip them. OK I'll use the ATM even though I prefer to use my credit card. After I got cash out, She had changed the price several times and said if I had used my card she'll charge me more........ that bothered me so I used my card regardless. I got cash out of the ATM because I was going to tip no matter how annoyed I was... i hand her a 20 and she gives me 2 10s .... I asked polielty to get it broken down again and she seemed very annoyed. She finally gave me 5s and I tipped them both, they grabbed the money and left for the day. No thank you nothing. From the moment you walk in, you feel very welcomed, they call you by name, very attentive, offer you water and they are very consistent, which is key. I've been to a few different ladies here and most of them have done really well. The prices are competitive and although they are pretty much always busy, they are honest with you about the wait time, unlike other salons that tell you it will only be 10 minutes and you end up waiting a half hour.Also, they do not accept tipping on a credit card which I really don't like because I always forget to bring cash for the tip. Its always hit or miss with this salon you may catch a good nail technician and more times than not u catch one that !$&@ up your nails!! The owner discounted my service my 10dollars but my nails are so $!@*# up i have to go some where else and have them redone and fixed! This time im done with this shop. I am loosing money coming here. I got a pink and white fill! Simple right! No! She said oh there is a new way to do pink and white. We just dip your nails in the powder and that's it. No! La Belle is my favorite nail spa in Costa Mesa. I can count on the quality every time. The ladies are friendly too. There are always people in there which is a good sign.
