This place is gorgeous and the service I received from the owner was excellent. It was my fault for lagging on making an appointment but the owner responded back to my request quickly and I was able to get an appointment at my requested time. I wanted to treat myself. I have dry skin so I opted for the cucumber sensation pedicure. The service included trim, file, cuticle, paraffin wax, callous, massage and polish. All those services costed $45.The lady who did my pedicure was sweet. However, my polishes chipped within 4 days. I'd understand more if it was a regular polish on my hands but polishes on toes shouldn't chip that easily.. It's not like I use my feet like my hands. I'm a little disappointed in the quality. I was so excited to go here, made an appointment and when I got there the receptionist wasn't welcoming at all. I sat down with my nail lady and she also wasn't welcoming. She asked me what color and had not given me color options. So we start and she tells me she won't do my color change past my current gel which is grown out. So I basically paid for nothing. This is by far the finest nail salon I have ever patronized. Having worked in the beauty industry gives me a unique perspective as I have been a service provider, a customer, and a salon owner as well. Glo Nail Bar checks all my boxes. It is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, the staff is engaging and friendly, the atmosphere is professional without being aloof and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality of service. The experience is an amazing departure from your run of the mill nail place. The manicurists focus on their customers, instead of talking with one another throughout your entire service, there are no awkward communications or misunderstandings because of language barriers, and it does not smell like a mom and pop diner(big issue for me...why would anyone want to smell food being cooked while trying to have a pampering experience?).I have seen 3 different manicurist here and all have been highly skilled and professional. So overall an excellent experience! Mary was fantastic and super fun to talk to. She was super particular about my nails which is great because a lot of nail techs are not. They have lots of gel colors to choose from. I got an extra called fairy dusting which looks awesome and have had many compliments. I did not get a pedicure but they have ton to choose from! Ok, so, I walk in and am greeted by this fabulous woman, Demi, who was so sweet and so excited that it was my first time in. She walked me over to get my pedicure and fill and brought me a delightful glass of red wine! So, I get my pedicure done by Kelly and she gave me THE best foot massage! So as I'm getting whisked away to cloud 9, Tanya comes in. TANYA IS MY NAIL HERO! I came in with screwed up, flared, square nails and she turned them into a beautiful Barbie dream! My girlfriend recommended Glo and swore by them, but I was a little thrown off by the prices. I've gone twice now and holy moly it is all worth it. My nails (I just get gel nails and regular pedi) have never looked this good and stayed on so long without lifting or chipping. I will continue visiting Glo exclusively for my nail needs. Read Less

It pains me to write this bc I was hoping for a 5 star experience as I have no problems with paying for quality but $212 for a gel manicure/pedicure.... :-X!!!!??? Not acrylic set folks just my natural nails with gel polish!  Every person who I have shown my nails to and has heard this number is outraged and stupefied by this number, which makes me feel even worse like maybe I got had and shouldn't have paid this much.Why 3 stars?5 for staff, Tracey, ambience-1 star for price-1 star for quality of design work= 3 Stars This nail salon is beautiful and has a lovely ambience. I was looking for a place to go near me and this place was the closest had had wonderful reviews. Tracy the owner got me in same day which was awesome! All of this was great and I was looking forward to relaxing for my birthday so I didn't mind pampering myself.The owner and staff are lovely but I'm blown away by the pricing.  I have gotten gel manicure/pedicure with similar design at nice salons in other locations for 1/3 of the price.  The owner Tracy didn't charge me for the design of the bows on my toes so to think it would be even more expensive is mind numbing.  I felt like some of the additional fees like for callous removal and nail polish removal which I wasn't told about until I looked at my receipt was upsetting.  I was already paying $75 my charcoal spa pedicure plus $20 for gel so a total of $95 plus art.  Ok I guess I mistakenly thought maybe $10 for design work as I'm used to paying $5 a nail for nail art.  Glitter or ombré wasn't considered extra at other places I have been before. I asked which spa pedicure would be good for me and there were several and if I was told the charcoal one was the most deluxe and all inclusive so imagine my surprise to be charged extra for callous removal and nail polish removal.Then my ombré nails which I have done in gel at other places and not charged extra for since it wasn't considered nail art but just technique and 2 nail art designs per hand which involved a simple polka design one one nail and application of a bow on another nail was an extra $30! Not to mention the entire time I couldn't even fully relax bc I had to hold on to the pillows on my legs in top of which my manicure was being done on to keep them from falling into my toes.  Trying to do this with one hand and cross back and forth to cure my nails was a challenge and not at all comfortable.  You would think there would be a better way to do this like doing the services sequentially so I could actually enjoy my pedicure and then get my manicure or Visa Versa.  This is how I have always had mine done.So I paid a $177 and $35 tip, for a total of $212, the most I have ever spent in my life for a gel mani/pedi.  I hope at this price it lasts a long time bc I am no stranger to gel and in fact will show you a comparison of another designs I have gotten in gel complete with glitter, ombré, hand painting, and crystals and have generally paid about $75 with tip total for both gel mani/pedi.  I really wanted to make this my go to mani/pedi place but right now I am unsure bc the quality of work and the price sadly don't match.  You can see my design today compared to my other Minnie nails how unevenly spaced the polka dots here were done and my thumb already has indentations in the gel. If I knew it was going to be like that and not like what I had before I would have just kept the nail plain ombré. It sucks to have paid as much as did and not have nicer polka dot accents... disappointing, especially bc for my birthday I wanted it to be perfect!  The other nails are lovely and are what I wanted.  The bow is really pretty.  Next time I will full inquire about pricing for sure and I recommend you do too so you're not surprised.  I was expecting to pay around $150 today since I knew I was getting extra art and was getting a spa pedicure which is already a lot but this was my first time getting a nail service in this area since I recently moved here.  $212 just seemed like too much my friends who live in this area told me.  They say there are similar quality salons at lower pricing so I will have to try some others out until I find a place right for me.Will see how long this gel lasts for and I will update my review then.  Normally I get a good 3-4 weeks on my fingers and almost 2 months on my toes. GLO Nail Bar is my go-to, not-even-another-option nail bar and I'm so glad to have found it! I've referred more than a handful of friends and I feel confident doing so each time! I have never been to a place before that has such negative energy. The staff are extremely uninviting & extremely rude. I looked around to see if others were having the same experience & every person in the place looked like they had every ounce of happiness drained from their faces. Really depressing atmosphere. My nails were done so terribly that I had to have them fixed. The girl that fixed them was good & i might try a third time just to see if the experience is better. So far the only good thing is that they have amazing decorations for nsils. If you don't need fancy details done then don't waste your time going here. Not only are the G-nail ladies the professional best, their energy is uplifting and catchy! They make my day every time I visit. I've taken my granddaughter there and others in my family.
