Absolutely amazing! My nail tech was so sweet and we chatted through my whole appointment! She made me feel very at home and welcomed! I was offered something to drink and whenever my mimosa would get low or hot pillow on my neck was not hot anymore someone would come up and offer me to more to drink or to reheat my pillow! In town for a work trip and had  an afternoon to relax...Stopped by as a walk-in and was able to get an appt within an hour plus a good lunch recommendation while waiting. Was pampered by all the women at Be Polished! It's a beautiful little shop and all of the employees were incredibly charming! This place was amazing. They use copper bowls for the pedicures which is an antibacterial and anti fungal which is huge for me. I luxuriated on a couch with a hot towel on my neck while they cleaned, clipped, buffed and polished my toes. The massage was great and it is very airy and open to the street so the sunny San Diego breeze comes in. And no smell of acrylic nails which was nice. I was in town for business and needed a mani/pedi. Anna was my manicurist and she was AWESOME!!!!  She was very courteous and gentle.  She did an excellent job of making sure I was comfortable.  I loved the layout of the salon and made it a much more relaxing experience than the traditional nail salon. BE polished is a little hidden gem on Coronado island and I am so thankful I found them. Not only is it boutique cute, but the quality of products and services is outstanding without the prices being "Coronado expensive". I love this place! It is so cute, fun, and CLEAN!!! I love how there are no fumes and the salon has big windows. It has adorable antique sofas and crystal chandeliers. The service is always top notch, but the prices are totally reasonable. I also really like how they use copper bowls instead of massage chairs with water jets. I know the water jets in the massage chairs are basically impossible to clean. But bowls are really easy to clean so I made the switch (the massage isn't worth the risk).Ashly and Andrea are amazing (all of the ladies are great actually). My girlfriend planned a nail spa birthday for me here and it was absolutely lovely! They were able to accommodate 8 of us, during 2 appt times. (And they were able to include my daughter who wanted to come along for a last minute TART pedi as well!) Everything was perfect! The morning coffee and mimosas added a special birthday touch. So, I took my daughter for a Mommy and Me mani pedi. On her Birthday. The place is super cute, but they do need to replace those laminate wood floors, it's probably a health violation and they are unsightly. But aside from that....The mani and pedis came out looking good. We got the Queen BE that included a sugar scrub. The ladies were polite and focused on doing a good job. However they never smiled once. Both girls had a very unhappy and somber attitude. They didn't make conversation or even ask how we're doing. They new we were there for daughter's birthday but never even said happy birthday. When they were done they didn't say anything, they just walked away. They never even presented a bill. So weird. We had to find the owner to get the bill. This place had sour and unfriendly attitudes, needs clean floors and wasn't a nice experience. Sorry, I really wanted to love this place. Read Less

Wonderful atmosphere and the decor was beautiful! Each of the items were on sale for purchase as well. This was a perfect spot for a family pedicure day on Labor Day weekend. We were able to book the appointment online the day before and the service was excellent! They took their time and didn't rush in getting the pedicures done. It's shown in the look of the nails. I'm visiting from the Bay Area and my friend took me here for some r&r. While I do get regular pedicures, Be Polished is a completely new experience for me. Their furniture and decor were all very elegant looking and they definitely know how to pamper their customers!Experience and Service: Awesome!We did a walk in and asked if they could take us in. They were pretty booked, but the lady at the front was nice and made sure to accommodate us. She told us to return within 30 minutes. So we walked around the area and got tea. If you're of drinking age, you get offered mimosas, which we happily accepted. You are then guided to a couch and your feet gets soaked inside a golden basin filled with warm water and a mini bath bomb (all handmade I believe). My friend and I got to sit together on the same couch so we were able to still talk to each other. While the couch itself wasn't all that comfortable, they give you a scented should bean bag to help you relax. Jenny took care of me that day. She cleaned, scrubbed, and massaged my feet. I'm usually very ticklish, in which I warned her I might kick (lol), so she was gentle but put in enough pressure to still scrub my feet properly. Then, I was given a lavender scrub (also handmade) which she used to massage on my legs and feet. Felt wonderful after a day of walking! After that, Jenny painted my nails. She was of great help to my friend who is a bit indecisive when she was choosing her nail color. While my nails were drying, my clumsiness stubbed my toe and messed up the paint. Jenny was kind and patient enough to redo my toe. Overall my experience here was really great and relaxing. It's definitely not your typical nail salon where you sit in a row of massage chairs and stations, but their service is great and they take their time to really make you feel like royalty. My favorite nail salon in San Diego County.  For me it's a trek to come down here but worth it.  Everything is so cute and cozy, the girls are sweet at it's the best service at reasonable prices.  I like that they are super clean, copper tubs, bath bombs, no acrylics so there isn't gross dust everywhere.  They have the best selection of shellac and they carry Vynlux (my favorite!).  This is truly a top level nail salon that you typically would see at a day spa or pay $$$$ for. This place just isn't for me. I like the mimosa, and everyone is super friendly and does a good enough job on nails.. but I don't want to sit hunched over on an antique sofa to get my nails done. I prefer a massage chair and something more than a shallow pan of water for my feet to soak in. People must love it though because I'm never able to get in for a walk in. First off Jenny, my nail guru was awesome. Very sweet, and gave me a nice basic pedi. I was a little off put by the set-up. I guess I am too used to the rows of massage chairs with stations. Here you receive your pedi on a couch. It's not super comfy the way it's set up. The decor is very cute, it definitely has an old school vibe with flair. Upon entering this salon, the charming retro decor and music sets the tone (pun intended) for what's to come--- a soothing experience.  Ashley was my manicurist at my first visit here yesterday. Aside from being warm and good humored, she was thoughtful and conscientious about my nail predicament and offered smart suggestions, accordingly.  She even went so far as to say that if her idea did not work, that she would redo the service in an alternate fashion---and on her dime.  Now THAT, is great customer service!  Also, Jessica, the young receptionist, was so adorable and sweet, and offered me a warm neck pillow as well as a beverage of my choice. I love this place. Very very clean and top notch service. Each time I've been, my pedi lasts 3 weeks and you can't beat a place that offers mimosas and a warm neck pillow. I love that there are copper bowls rather than the massage chairs because I have yet to see a local salon that sanitizes each chair correctly by running cleaning solution through the chair (to get anything in the hoses in the chair not just the tub). My husband and I stopped by here after a long day of walking around Coronado, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to relax and be pampered! The owner (I apologize that I didn't get her name) was super sweet and was able to fit us in right away, each for a pedicure. She brought us each a warm neck pillow AND offered complimentary mimosas (which I took her up on!). They do things a little differently here, but it was fun. They have such a charming atmosphere--you sit on couches during the pedicure and your feet are washed in large, clean bowls. It's unlike any other salon I've been to.Jenn and Savannah took great care of us--they were so nice and did such an amazing job; this was the best pedicure I'd ever had! I felt totally ripped off. Had a gel mani and regular pedi. The pedi was fine not great, just fine. The gel mani was terrible. The removal of old gel was rough, my nails were not filed evenly. Had to even out when I got home. The polish was not applied evenly and went over my cuticles. The polish looked sloppy. The whole experience cost $75 and I have had better results at half the price. Be Polished is every girls dream! It's like going to a day spa for a manicure or pedicure but without the high price! You can literally see the ocean from their entrance on Adella Ave right by the Hotel Del and across from Miguelito's. The ambiance here is fantastic and you sit comfortably on a chic couch while they bring a big Grecian style bowl for you to soak your feet into and they give you a pedicure right there. This is a great spot to go with girlfriends because you can literally sit on a couch with them while you get pedicures. They have am amazing selection of colors mostly Butter brand which is such a lux brand! They also offer lash extensions which I saw the owners wearing and they looked subtle but sophisticated....I'll definitely try them next time! Read Less
