I'm recently relocated to the city and was looking for a new Nail salon to make my new spot. I was very satisfied with the services at Double OO Nails & Spa. I wanted a simple ombré full set and pedicure before going into labor.They listen and really took their time to  give me exactly what I wanted. My favorite part of the pedicure was the hot stone massage which is included in their basic package. My nails still look flawless and labor ready a couple weeks after my appointment. I would suggest making an appointment and not walking in because it does get busy in there & I was there on a Monday, but after being there I understand why! Great service!  Eddie did my SNS and it was done quickly and nicely.  Not as much attention to detail as might be found in other salons, but a guarantee of their work for 2 weeks which is very nice.  Lots of colors to choose from, but many were an up-charge which was disappointing. Read Less

Made an appointment, I get there they tell me technician I made an appointment with is running 30 minutes behind because shes doing a design. They offer me another person and I am hesitant because that's the whole reason I stopped coming here. My last visit here consisted of the same scenario and I left with bleeding toes. Naturally, I was upset when given the news that I have to wait or switch tech. I asked if I would get a discount or a redo if I did not like the service and Andrew answers were not concrete. He then stood up upset saying I wasn't fair and he was going to have to refuse service to me. So not in line with the way Ty treats his customers. That's too bad I started coming here from when they were just one space and none of the new Deco was here. It's really sad when a business starts getting greedy and do not care about their customers. All this could have been easily avoided with a common courtesy call "Hello, we value your time the technician you booked is running behind, would you mind coming in a bit later?" I came here because I heard so many great things about this place. So initially I booked my appointment with ty. Unfortunately he was unavailable that day and had to reschedule me with another tech, Tiffany. I came in  thinking I wouldn't like the work since I didn't get who I wanted but I instantly blown away by Tiffany's work ! She is my go to person for now on and did exactly what I asked for and wanted what I loved most is that she took her time and made sure I like my nails! A good friend recommended me this place. Came since probably 8-10 months ago, every month! I always get the SNS service and they do amazing job! The very first time I came to see Tye and he's so talented, but I tried other people there too like Duy, Michelle, Phoebe and Megan, all of them excellent and very talented! The service is excellent since they pick up the phone when ur trying to make an appointment. The owner is usually the one picking up the phone and he always very friendly he tries to help you to find the best time for you to come. I came the first time and liked it enough to come again. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure and fill but was only given a fill. No pedicure. Also an hour and a half for the fill. The tech spent a really long time fixing my nails telling me the shape was different and all this. Okay cool. He paints the nails and I really don't like how two came out, they looked sloppy so I ask him to fix it. He tells me he has customers waiting. Last I checked, I'm still a customer. I asked if someone else can do it, he looks annoyed then said he can do it. I'm over it. I drove all the way from LA out here because I have the WORST luck with nail salons and thought I had found a good one. Wrong. The manager guy was nice and tried to make it up but honestly I hate my time wasted and I hate bad attitudes. A lot. So I bounced. He charged me $20 but I'm kind of an idiot and believe that people's time matters and even if this guy did a bad job on the polish he did a solid job on the shape so I paid $40 which is what it should have been. . It's really unfortunate that they lost all future business because another customer was waiting while I was still technically a customer. Terrible. Sloppy. Unsanitary.I have a high pain tolerance and the nail tech was basically Edward Scissorhands. He cut my cuticles to the point of gushing, and he couldn't get it to stop the entire time so he just kept going. I took the pic once I got home- still bleeding. I didn't see him clean any of the instruments that he used on me afterward. I got dip powder in lieu of gel and I'm assuming it isn't a one time usage thing. I'm grossed out by the thought of other people using the powder that previously contained my bleeding fingers. The shape is questionable and the powder is 4 layers thick. I prefer nail techs that take pride in their work and go the extra mile of refining their technique. This place is not for me. Read Less

So I heard about this place through a co worker who always has the most gorgeous and crazy fun nails depending on where she's going. She told me that it's SNS that she does and that's what keeps her nails nice. I've been looking for an alternative to acrylics since I went somewhere a year ago that made a nail fall off. I've been putting off coming just because I didn't want to hurt my nails but I did miss getting them done with things that don't chip off so fast. I had called to make an appointment but no one answered so I followed the phone prompt and left a message to have them call me back. A few minutes later I got the call back and they were able to take me in 15 minutes which was perfect. When I got in it was a nice set up. Very clean and relaxing, it had two sides that allowed it to look less crowded and it had a great variety in music (not the classical elevator music you usually find). I signed in and the took me straight to a seat to get started. Little by little my guard and hesitation was going away. My nail tech was amazing!!! He was so polite and very aware of what looks good on different people. I told him what I like to do but was wanting to be more spunky and less boring. He asked all the right questions about shape and length and recommended some great options all the while reassuring me that it's what I will be happy and comfortable with no matter how simple it is. Well a couple great conversations later. I got the most beautiful set I could have imagined! I'm so in love, we went for a navy blue base with chrome finishes in different colors. My favorite was something new he tried on my index finger where he ombréd 3 different colors vertically. Coolest transition ever. It looks blue then purple then green. Double OO Nail, I chose to try this place because of their star rating on Yelp. I used waze for direction. My first impression from pulling in the parking lot was its one of the most unlikely places for a nail shop. I questioned whether to go in or not. There isnt much else in the this semi vacant shopping center. Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised. The interior in very bright, with a light airy feel. The decor is very boutiquish.   I was asked to sign in and after about 5min .  I was assigned a spa chair. I was asked to pick a color. Their color selections are limited. Primarily a variations of pinks and reds. After another five minutes. my nail technician, Kelly introduce herself. Pedicure: Options: $25, $34 or $47 plus a list of add-on's. I opted for the 25.00 pedicure. What's included. Callus remover and hot stone massage. Kelly was good and careful not to cut me she also has firm hands. So the massage was affective. My only cons are the lack of a color selections and the use of an electric file instead of emeryboard. Read Less

This salon is so great, third time coming here. They are so attentive, always making sure you're comfortable, or if you want something to drink. The work the techs do is amazing! Also, they have an abundance of colors! It's so hard to choose, I want them all! I always look forward to getting my next color! My nails last so long, I can go about a month with my SNS. This place is so hidden, thank goodness for Yelp or I would've never found this gem. I got my last sns mani with Tiffany, and she did such a great job and made sure I was happy throughout. This is the best place for SNS nails...I love everyone here they remember you by name and truly do everything they can to make sure you're satisfied. Only problem is I only really prefer two people here to do my nails and they are alllllllllways busy because people have mentioned them here on yelp. I had been to this nail salon about a year ago with a friend, and remember really enjoying it. However, my visit today was very different from what I remember. Upon first walking inside, it is very nicely decorated, and reminds me of a higher end nail boutique. However, after first glance, you will notice that they are definitely letting quality fall short. For example: there are dirty rags all over the place, most of the TVs are not in working order and my massage chair would not recline or move back. Additionally, i had to wait 25 minutes once seated in the spa chair before I was acknowledged by my manicurist, who seemed extremely unenthused by me being there (probably since I was "just getting a basic pedicure"). Cherry on top? I had to wait 5 minutes to pay at the front while everyone ignored me (even though I was obviously staring them down so that i could end my visit).Pros: very thorough when cleaning up my nails. And they cleanly applied the nail polish. Hot stones are included (but not sure if just placing them on my legs and rubbing them up and down with minimal pressure is really the technique you're supposed to use... see cons below).Cons: one of the laziest massages I've ever received (she literally cleaned her tools in the foot bath while "rubbing"). Overpriced ($25 for the basic pedicure). Poor "bedside" manner. TV was stuck on loading "friends" on Netflix at 28% my entire visit. I had to ask for sandals even though my converse and socks were sitting in plain site. Cold foot bath water and no one asked how the temperature was. I could really go on and on.In conclusion: eff this place. Go to Orchard Nails instead. At least they have wine. Read Less

It's been a while yelp but I'm glad to be back and give you yet another fabulous reviewSo yesterday I got it in my head that I wanted to get my nails done for my 22nd birthday today, so of course I started looking at reviews. And guess what? the pictures do not lie about the quality of these masterpieces they create! I was skeptical because I have had really awful experiences but here I was treated like a princess :') the nail tech listen to me every step of the way! yes Cindy did mess up with my ring finger but I think the white really complemented the glitter and I've never had SNS so I said why not try it? fuck it lol and honestly I really liked it. it's a tad expensive yes as my nails did come out to $63 with a tip included but so worth it the length is amazing the shape is beautiful and I thought I would have a hard time at work but I managed not to break a nail hahahaha I know exactly where I'll be coming to from now and on a positive Note they have a stamp card for every $20 you spent they give you stamp tip not included so please make sure you spend just enough so you get that stampMy only downside is that after going in the pool yesterday my white tips look yellow so I'm not sure if the paint doesn't sit well with salt water? and I mean if you can fix it that be great thank you so much guys!Be sure to come and visit them!! I've been going to Double OO nails for over a year. I've been doing SNS nails for about three years total, and nobody does it as good as Double OO. All of their technicians are well-versed on how to administer the SNS, which is not something I would usually find a different nail salons. Usually salons have A few nail techs to do it, but Double OO seems to specialize in SNS, so everyone does it. They also have the largest SNS color collection I've ever seen! They always have a movie on to watch, and I have never had an awkward, forced conversation with a technician before. unfortunately, I just moved out of the area. I am so disappointed that I have to find a new nail place. Double OO is going to be very difficult to replace, and I will miss them! Read Less

My Nail Heaven!!I left my nail Salon of 7 years for this new found gem. The inside is very nice, clean and roomy. You would never guess from the outside. The SNS nails are long lasting and beautiful. Both Tye and Judy have done my SNS and they come out amazing each time. They last me about three weeks. This place is by far the best quality and the service is always great and quick. Sooo I love this place! I first came her about a month ago. I saw the reviews and I wanted a place with more variety of colors. When I first came in it was very, very nice looking. I got sns done on my nails which I have done before but at a different nail salon. I also got a pedicure. The pedi felt so nice because they used hot rocks to massage your leg. It was amazing. The manager also offered me sparkling water so it was very nice and not what I was used to. Once every thing was done it looked amazing!! I loved my mani and my pedi. Everything came out to about $60 with out tip. Which was not what I was used to paying BUT it was worth every penny because I didn't have to come back to get my nails redone till about 3 1/2 weeks later. I could have gone sooner but they were still in good condition. And I got compliments everyday about my nails.The second time I came was with my friend. I got gel done, since my nails grew sooo much from the sns from before. I did a nude nail with ombre glitter and it came out amazing. Cindy did my nails that time.I came again a few weeks later got gel again and I  only did my ring finger ombre glitter. After a few days my nails started to chip so I went back and they agreed to do my nails All over again free of charge. I wanted sns instead so they did that for me and gave me a discount since gel and sns are to separate styles of nail.Over all I loved my outcome and I still love this place.
