DON'T DO IT!  I read the reviews and decided to go anyways. I waited 45 minutes past my appt time(I believe they took a walk in before me) and I  had arrived 7 minutes early. My $30 full set service became $45 when she said she had a "better red for me" than what I picked. It was Gel so it added $15 and she didn't tell me. 10 days later I was at TJ's Salon because 2 nails fell off and it turns out I had fungus under 4 others!!  I needed another full set and started from scratch-WASTE of my time and money. Trendy nails is my favorite place for pedicures! I have been coming here for years and they have only been improving as the years have passed.  The inside decor and the services they provide just keep going uo but not the prices luckily. We come here for their pedicures. The big comfy massage chairs are so relaxing. You just melt away when your here. On the other note I do not get my shellac or acrylics done here. I got them in the past and they were not good. My shellac nails would chip the next day...very disappointing They may have improved by now but I still stay away. Worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. It's been 4 months and I was so looking forward to being able to get them done because School doesn't let me. The male that did my nails was AWFUL. Yanking on my nails and skin like it was the worst job in his life. No care in the world for the customer. I went into this nail salon at 5:30pm on toda. I asked for a fill and pedicure the lady who was working at the first station said they were busy and can't do my nails I said your sign say you close at 7pm, and she said she had clients with appointments coming in. I took another look and noticed nobody waiting to get service, and all 6 nail stylist had a client at there chair and one was heading to the nail drying station and all clients were White.  So I went back to my car and called this place  and changed my voice to sound White because I'm a Black Woman. She answered and I asked in my fake voice do you have time today for another customer, she asked what did I need done I told her the same thing I told her when I walked in (a filled and pedicure).  She said what time can I come I told her 45 minutes. I don't get manicures and pedicures real often. I'm a guy and it's nice to get one once in a while. First this place is very chaotic, they really need someone to be at the front desk. Instead they have people stop your service and go get the phone or help people. Doesn't seem real sanitary to go back and forth. I wear black dress socks at work during the week and it's always hard to get the lint out from under the toe nails, my reason for pedicure. The lady didn't even get the lint out. If I could give this place half a star, I would. I called for an appointment and they told me to come at 2:30. They assured me I could get a gel mani and pedi done at the same time. I came in, and halfway through the pedicure the man tells me he has to do someone else. Still sitting here, an hour later, manicure hasn't started and pedicure unfinished. Honestly, I am extremely displeased with my visit here today. Had to wait a while after my appointment time to get seen- which truly wasn't a huge deal to me. Where it went wrong is the actual manicure job. The color I wanted and had picked out for my shellac manicure from the samples they did not even have. I was then rushed to pick a new color which turned out completely unlike what I wanted. Coat was thin, you can literally still see me nails through it. Also it was not a smooth paint job as there are some bubbles and un-straight lines in the polish itself. It was not clean at all. SO not worth the $30 bill. Will not be returning here in the future. friendly at first, then left me sitting in the pedi chair, with luke warm water, still water i might add.. with the foils on my fingers for almost an hour! my nails started to burn.. i asked them to take them off and the woman had an attitude and insisted on scraping my polish off with her nail. she was sick and blowing her nose constantly in to the paper towels she had covering her tools.. after they were finally ready to paint my nails, they informed the color i had chosen (45 minutes ago at least) wasn't available, so i ended up with the same color they had just removed. never going back here Read Less

Been going to this place 3 years. Owner is an asshole. Tao is great. They say "Walk In's are Welcome," but when you have an appointment and need maybe a pedicure too...they'll make you wait 2 hours. They allow walk-ins and then tell me because i didn't have an appointment I have to wait when my nail tech was starting my pedicure and I'm stuck in a chair the entire time.  I took a long break from this place because of the same thing. Because I am a woman that everything is about time, I need my fill/pedi done at the same time. My former nail salon moved to a smaller location and could no longer do my fill and pedi at the same time. Finding a nail salon that would accommodate my needs seemed harder then I thought but OMG I found Trendy Nail!!! And so close to my home (which is even a bigger plus). I have my fill done by Rose who is beyond my expectations!!! She does a PEEEERRRFECT job EVERY    SINGLE     TIME!!! I LOVE MY NAILS EVERYTIME!! NO FLAWS!!  Sue does my pedi and people....read closely....SHE GIVES THE BEST FOOT MASSAGES EVER!!!! My job requires me to be on my feet all day and to have that amazing massage on my feet just makes me leave so happy and fulfilled! I book with these 2 ladies every other week and look forward to it.The salon is pretty and comfortable. The massage chairs are awesome to me. They do average work, nothing special in my opinion. Twice I've made appt then when I showed up I was told they just took some walk-ins so I would have to wait for about an hr for them to do them first. One of the walk-ins had just sat down when I walked in, they had not started her yet & I was still told I would have to wait. What's the point of making an appt if they won't honor it. LOVE our new nail salon!!! Went in last week to purchase 15 pedicures for the staff at my sons school and the salon is really nice. My mom and I made appointments yesterday. I had a fill and mom had a spa pedi and mani. Rose did my nails and she is just a sweetheart. My nails are absolutely perfect! I have RA and very sore hands/wrists. She was very gentle and I didn't even need to say anything. I asked if she could do some nail art in celebration of my anniversary and she hand painted some pink hearts; adorable! I'll post a picture...She was also really fast! My mom had Mai and she also loved her. Arm massage was her favorite and her pedicure was heaven! Her nails are beautiful! Greeted by the Available esthetician that would be taking care of me and a gentleman at the front desk..asked what i would like today, then escorted to the wall of amazing color. So many i have never even seen before.. then while the lady got everything ready for my pedicure, the gentleman took me to my chair and started the water and made sure i was comfortable. Pedi was fine but the water initially scalded my foot -- way too hot. The pedicurist was a nice gentleman but he had an obvious cold/runny nose which is sort of unnerving.  We waited 15 minutes for a chair and then my daughter waited in a pedi chair at least 20 min longer than that. Meh. Read Less

I am extremely disappointed. I called to schedule an appointment for my son and that same night they were able to get him in! I was pretty impressed. Then the thought crossed my mind. I have been loyal to my salon and stylist for years, and have to book out at least a few weeks. But figured maby she had a cancelation or just a slow week etc. In a crunch, my husband took my son, which has the same style of haircut for the look my son was going for. My husband was very thorough... and told her the guards to us as well. When they walked in I about lost it! His hair was so uneven and hacked. I was so frustrated. I thought it over, but couldn't let it go. I would want to know if my customers were dissatisfied. I decided to phone them the next day. The owner then explained to me the stylist was a jr stylist. Really? That would of been nice to know. Then they asked, What can we do to make it right? Ugh, give me my money back, I thought. But she said we would love the opportunity to make it right and set an appointment with our top senior stylist. I have been a small business owner myself, so I agreed and was glad they "tryed" to make it right. A few weeks later, after my husband cut and fixed their hack job, "I" took my son in. I felt I needed to be very precise on the style and look so I showed her a picture and even pulled up good o'l Pinterest to save the day! Long story short, Pinterest couldn't even save the day! If it was an option I would give this place a 3.5. My mom has been going to this place for a little bit so when I was home to visit she took me here to get our nails done together. The place is very nice inside both decorations and their equipment. I suggest making an appointment so you don't have to wait and can get in quickly and easily. The staff here is very friendly and does a good job on the nails. I will say though that the massage department with your nails is lacking. They are pretty pricey and for their prices you think they would want to give you a better well rounded experience and service. Don't get me wrong, they do a good job on the nails and they have lots of colors in polish and even more in shellac to choose from, but I wasn't too impressed by the place. I did like that they were friendly though. I feel like nail places are a dime a dozen these days and if they do a good job on your nails you are satisfied.
