I can't speak about their manicures because I only had a pedicure but it was wonderful.  We both came in as walk-ins late in the day.  The massage was soothing, the wrap and lotions made my legs and feet soft and the chair was perfectly tailored to relax.  My feet and toes look perfect.  I will definitely return. This place is horrible they have only one person that does any kind of nail art here. I usually get a French mani and pedi and they told me they couldn't do it because my nails were too short. This place is a joke. Came in to get a fill done on my pink and white and I sit down with one lady. She gets up like 3 times and then comes back the last time and makes me go to some other guy. I waited for him for about 15 minutes... I've been here since 4:30 and it is now 5:15 and my nails are half done. I will never come back here again. About halfway through them finishing, they asked me how old my daughter was, and when I said 11, they said that's adult price. I was a walk in, a little busy for a Wednesday afternoon so I thought this was going to be an awesome place to come. I was helped by Annie. I told her I wanted pink on all my fingers and silver holo on my ring finger. After I picked out my polish she kept asking if I wanted gel which I said no. She then turned to my fiancé and asked him to convince me? Hahaha Well my nails looked like crap going in, paint chipping all that. She took it off put a base coat and painted my nails. She painted my ring finger pink instead of leaving it blank for the silver holo. I didn't say anything since I figured maybe it would look better with a base of color underneath. I noticed she didn't cover all the edges of my nail and she probably spent 5 minutes painting them. She said the pink was "eh" on me cause I'm a little tan and when I said I liked how it made me look tan she said "as long as you like it" okay... well she ended up painting all my nails with the glitter while putting two coats of pink only on my left hand. My nails were already filed in a coffin like shape. She was trying to be nice, complimented how long my natural nails were and kept telling my fiancé how he was the boss of me? Again hahaha anyways I paid $7 the top coat she used was not fast drying and she didn't do anything after. So my hands were dry from the acetone and the coverage of glitter over the pink was not even. Also no opportunity to tip with card. I dunno if I would come back. Read Less

Gel pedicure peeled up not even two hours later while I was in bed (literally just laying around) I came back the next day (with the receipt and they didn't remember me coming) The rest of my toe polish was peeling when I took off my shoes so I asked for a refund but was told they would reprint them. They said the reason they peeled was because it was the "sparkle color" I picked (really?!?!) I won't come here anymore. Price isn't that great and the salon was loud and packed.Not relaxing and the inconvenience of having to comeback the next day isn't worth it. Read Less

I do not know where all of the negativity is from. The wife and I have been here at least once a month for several years now. She comes for the works and I come for the pedi. My doctor said it would help with my post stroke blood flow to my lower legs and feet. It works.I have never felt rushed, ignored or unappreciated as a customer. We are treated like friends and family. I do agree the my asian language skills are a bit rusty.Maybe it was time of day or your level of expectations that prevented the enjoyment of your visit. Horrible place i will never ever go back or recommend. I paid $37 for something that looks like i did myself or at a beauty school. The guy kept getting frustrated when i was trying to tell him over and over what i wanted. And if im paying for it them it shouldnt be a problem, or of he didnt understand due to language barrier then maybe should have asked one of the other 10 that were sitting around all talking. And he said something in their language to the others and they all started laughing. I know i was asking for speific things but i was trying to tell him i was only getting them for a wedding and i was going to have to take them off for work. So i didnt want my real nail to be damaged too bad since i will not be keeping them up. when i asked if they do design he no he didnt know how. He didnt even check to see if the length on both sides matched. A few of the nails were a lot longer then the others, and they are bulky. He didnt even ask what i wanted my edges of the nails to look like (square or curved) i should have trusted instinct and walked out as soon as he first showed that he wasnt taking what i wanted into consideration. They rushed us in picking our colors for the manicure and pedicure. And on top of that, I had to pay first before the services was done. What was up with that! My mother and I came here for pedicures and for some general relaxation. We left here feeling like we wasted our money and time. The whole time all of the employees were talking at a very loud volume to each other across the room like it was a social gathering and the lady who worked on my mother was talking on her cell phone for several minutes.  My skin was cut twice enough to produce blood and the lady who was working on me said oh I'm sorry it happens all the time. This was possibly the worst place to get a manicure ever. My daughter Ana gets acrylic nails all the time and when she saw that this place did it for $18 we went in. We didn't find out until after the painful manicure that gel was $12 extra, it wasn't written anywhere and they didn't tell us. The manicure itself looks terrible and they cut her and then painted over the blood. Not only that but we went in 10 minutes before our appointment and the guy didn't start until 30 minutes after our appointment. Today they were friendly and the pedicure was nice. It was relaxing and not sloppy. The price was reasonable. My main concern is that behind each chair is a 'disinfectant log' and the man went around behind each chair and wrote the date, his initials, and time of cleaning at 6:00pm. It was 5pm. When I got up from the chair it was not cleaned. Perhaps they clean them all at 6pm...? But it looked questionable to me. The chair, restroom, floors, etc all looked dirty. I do think that there is a cultural difference between the Vietnamese and main stream American cleanliness level because many of the Vietnamese nail places and restaurants do not look cleaned regularly. Hopefully no one gets any serious infection. I do know people who have ended up in the hospital with staph infections from minor pedicure cuts. It can be scary!! Read Less

I called this salon to schedule an appointment to get acrylic nails but the woman on the other end of the phone seemed to be distracted in some way, as I kept hearing talking and laughing in the background. I told her how I wanted my nails done and she said she scheduled me, and quickly got me off of the phone. When I came in for my appointment, the woman at the counter became very annoyed with me very quickly. Apparently, I had not made it clear enough that I wanted acrylic nails instead of just paint, so she made a point of stomping around the salon to find the right woman for the job. After finally being able to sit down and get my nails done, the women never said a word to me, while chattering to her friends the entire time, and seemed to rush through the job. I went to this salon just to get acrylics done. White tip with an oval (round) top. I went in and while the woman was doing my nails, she barely said a word to me, but kept talking to the other workers in whatever other language they speak. And those other workers just sat around drinking Starbucks and doing nothing, which was very unprofessional. then the woman gave me square nails, when I specifically said rounded. She didn't do a very good job. But it was too late to fix (because the nails would be way too short if I made her fix it) so I just went to pay. They didn't tell me beforehand that their credit card machine was broken, and I had to leave to get gas and go out of town. But no, they made me give them my credit card to keep while I drove all the way home, got cash, and dove all the way back! And I couldn't stop at the gas station on the way because they wouldn't let me keep my credit card (they wanted to keep my drivers license at first, not realizing I had to DRIVE. And then I offered them pretty much everything I had, but it wasn't good enough for them) and I finally got back and asked for a discount because of the gas and how late they made me. But they said no. So I gave them the money and stomped out. Basically, the service was terrible and they don't know what they're doing! Dont go there. Read Less

I had a very bad experience at Fantasy Nails and Spa. The ladies there are rude and unwelcoming, they need to smile and be customer service friendly. Also, I only wanted acrylic on my nails and they charged me a full set price of $26 TOO HIGH!! my nails aren't even long!!! besides the service the acrylic started lifting 1 day later. It is unfortunate that during this tough economy times for everyone people like Fantasy Nails and Spa want to make as much money as they can off of hard working people providing sorry service.
