The lady I got was judgmental of my race and age. She was very straight forward of her disliking the length of nails that i wanted. She impatient to do my nails that she rushing by brushing it too hard. I show her two styles that I like but she just assume n choose one for me. My worst experience with manicare is this place. I've been coming here on a regular basis since last April. The owners are wonderful people and they will take good care of you. I've been to other nail salons where I end up getting hurt a few times when I get my nails filled. The staff at Villa Nails is very gentle. This place is great! I live out of the area but visit Fresno often. I've had my last two fills at Villa Nails. Once by Doreen and the other time by Sammie. This place has been empty both times and I don't understand why. They do a great job and decent prices. I am two weeks after my last fill and no lifting, nails look great. My mom also got her first pedicure by Doreen who was so sweet (it was mom's first pedicure so it was no easy feat). The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my nail polish looks ok. Other than that the people were very short and somewhat rude to me and my daughter. I told the lady I wanted a pedicure and for my daughter's toes and nails to be paineted.. nothing complicated... and she went on this long rant about how the nail polish wouldn't last long on my daughter so she didn't want to do it and I should go by some stick on nail polish for her. She's a child I know her nail polish isn't going to last long. The lady only ended up painting her toes and not her fingers. The start of my daughter's day was amazing; all her plans were going great!!!   She was getting her nails done; removing a set of acrylics, and getting a gel manicure, and the place well the place along with the reviews led her to believe she was ready for some pampering, but instead of pampering she was brutalized both physically and verbally.  My daughter was beyond upset at what the nail tech did and the things she said; there was no soaking of the nails what she told my daughter was that "this is going to hurt" and "beauty is pain"  I wish she would have left right then.  This nail tech had the nerve to tell my daughter, and I quote, "If you can't take this pain, you won't be able to have a baby."  Since WHEN is having a set of nails removed suppose to hurt like giving birth.  I am thinking about reporting this establishment to the BBB.  Please BEWARE my daughters nails are ripped and torn.  Do not stop here,  What she thought would be a wonderful experience turned out to be a NIGHTMARE!!!!! Villa nails opened the doors at 9:50 am this morning and I was asking for something simple no fake nails just paint them and do something for St. Patrick's Day this guy states they can't to anything for that and that they can only paint the tips of my fingers. I do not recommend this place to anyone!! Poor service and customers service. Unless you want fake nails they can't help you and god forbid you ask for them to paint something on them.
