HORRIBLE PLACE, UNTRAINED NAIL TECH I had a nasty experience with a nail technician at this salon. I had my nails done, paid extra to get my cuticles, it was a disaster. The lady didn’t know how to do a proper manicure. My nails were really bad and the gel nail polish I paid for was all chipped by the next day. I went back to complain and she kept arguing with me and refusing to redo it. She eventually did it when I insisted but grudgingly. She was so angry that her hands were shaking when she was redoing my nails. She and her colleagues cursed me in their language while she changed the nail polish. Unfortunately I understood them but said nothing to them. It was a horrific experience and I would never want to go back there. As I am writing this, the nail polish has yet peeled off again, it’s unbelievable. I have been fixing my nails done for more than 15yrs and this is my worst experience. We had an OK experience here... Me, my sister and my 6 year old niece came for pedicures and we were seated immediately but no one came and started my water for about 20 minutes of sitting there. Then they filled it and told me the jets didnt work... I would of sat in a different chair! The staff were very nice though! Read Less

This used to be my go to place for my nails. I've had powder dipped nails done twice. The first time was great and they lasted more than 3 weeks. I got the powder dip again on 11/11/17 and the job was awful. They started chipping not even 24 hours later and have continued to do so. Kim, the nail tech, made a remark that hopefully these last till Thanksgiving. They should've lasted well past Thanksgiving since that would even be 2 weeks! I am SO disappointed and feel as though I wasted $35. As it was multiple nails had to be redone during my visit because she filed down the tips of my nails to where you could see bare spots on multiple nails. She said it happened because they are short, but my nails weren't THAT short and they were the same length the last time I had them done by her.  Some of the nails ended up really thick and I'm wondering if that's partly why they are chipping so much. As others have mentioned, the powder dip nails does not include a manicure. I've always had a great experience with pedicures so I'd definitely suggest them for a pedicure but not the powder dips nails for sure. Read Less

Came with my sister and it was kind of uncomfortable seeing her get treated like she didn't know what she wanted (which she did it's not her first time getting her nails done). Also the gentleman seemed to utter stuff under his breath in his native tongue after getting frustrated with my sister. Unprofessional and kind of insulting. Would not recommend. I just recently came back to this shop for the convenience.  It is the same tech's from like 8 years ago when I switched.  I liked that  I can walk-in and usually see someone right away. The all seem very capable to do pedicures, not sure they all do manicures.  12/8/17 Recent update- I upgraded stars- have been getting better service.  Looking up. I am giving them a 3 star only for the poor customer service.  I think because there is a bit of a language barrier, and some do speak English.  Yet, their words can sound sharp and snappish. I hear how they speak to others coming into the shop and it irritates me.  I feel bad for the older ladies, that cannot hear or understand their instructions.  For me, I can deal with it, as I have had good results.  My biggest issue, is that when I use one tech several times, there is a possessive quality to them and I then feel like I need to see that same tech when I am open to any tech.  My buying issue is, I want quick and immediate, and I do not want to have to make an appointment.  My schedule is hard to pin down future times that might be available for an hour mani or pedi.  If they read this, I would suggest a board, written in English as to what some of the choices are and have the customer point.  The do this for the pedicures and I think it helps.  I want to come here, believe me I do!  But I ran years ago for the same reasons,  I am experiencing now.  Also, they do take credit to pay, but you cannot tip with a credit card.  Come with CASH to tip. Stopped here after heading to Costco. I got a manicure and I did the dipping powder. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they really didn't do a full manicure not even my cuticles or anything. Just basically put powder on them and shaped my nails. But I'm very satisfied with how it came out. Despite that, I plan to come back for another manicure or pedicure. They have a lot more color selections than the place I typically go to. Read Less

They put the wax paper under my eyebrows but too low so it was on my eye lid then it was too hot so it burned me and when she pulled it off it hurt worse than what I'm used to. I didn't say anything because it was a new place and I thought they could handle a simple thing and by that time it was to late to tell them. When I finally go up and looked in the mirror I saw that there was a slight indent and a major burning sensation that I have never felt before on my eyes then the next day it scabbed over so that's how we knew i was burned. Now I'm embarrassed everywhere I go and get weird looks. And even when I went to see if I could get my money back all they did was say they were sorry and hugged me. I was furious. Read Less

This is the 4th time I've gone here for my nails/tips/acrylics & so disappointed! Each time doing something different & still have paid for services that I honestly feel like their prices which are not listed are way to high for the poor job the men do... I always get pushed off to the men in here and doing nails is definitely not their forte!! I know it's my choice... An I should take myself elsewhere from now on!! Read Less

I've gotten rockstar nails done twice there. First time, I was absolutely satisfied. I payed $35 with the tip! The second time, however, was done by a different girl. I had rockstar nails done again, but two different colors at the tip. The expierence was painful. She ripped off my acrylics, instead of soaking like you're supposed to do, and used a drill to file my nails. My left pinky hurt the most while she drilled. It burned and stung! I payed $50 without the tip, and I was shocked, because I only payed $30 the last time. On the drive home, I noticed my cuticles were bleeding and torn. I went back the next day to explain the situation, asking for a portion of my money back, and the manager, if that what he is, told me that they provided a service and I cannot request a refund. What kind of crap is that? My fingers are now in pain whenever I get them wet, or do anything with them. Maybe it was the girl that happened to do my nails that time, because I was very happy the first time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if that's how they're going to treat me AND my nails. The first time the service was fair for a late friday night. I paid $27 for white tip french manicure. This second time I went I was shocked. I got a full set with glitter tips done. The clerk did a rushed job even though there was no other customer waiting. There was a point where a nail was unglued. I brought it to the clerks attention. However, the clerk ignored my concern until I had to stand my ground. By this point my nails were nearly done and was waiting to leave. At the end I ended up paying over $44. I feel this shop needs to improve on their customer service and product quality for such an expensive price. Read Less

Every time I need a wax someone is available. Even when I just stop in without an appointment. The waxing is totally efficient and quick! The prices are lower than most by at least $5-$10. Not the most luxurious salon or area but the quality is probably better than I've received at high-end salons! I've got eyebrow, TOTAL FACE (including ears) & underarms all for about $50! I hate facial fuzz and I was baby soft for about a month! I will continue visiting Happiness Spa and I highly recommend their services! Read Less
