The salon has a good atmosphere and a water fall inside which makes it comfortable. I got the pedi with the parrafin wax. The manicurist literally left the wax on for a minute.He was in a hurry to get to the next client so I got short changed . It cost me $33 plus a$5 tip. Too much. NEVER again will I go to Aqua Nails again. I Went in for a full set and was not satisfied with my results. I asked for coffin, looked like I got regular shape. The acrylic was stick to my skins underneath the nail. My nails weren’t even filed down. One area was thicker then the other. They didn’t have the colors I wanted . Over all rude. They definitely try to rush on you when they see that they are getting busy! They would do a sloppy job too at times! I do like how they have many varieties, like chrome, dip, and etc! DO NOT GO TO AQUA NAILS! They are rude and very rough. I recently got my nails done at Aqua nails in Clovis on Sunnyside Ave I went in for my usual fill and decided to do nail polish instead or gel. Not only did she burn me while she was buffing my nails out but she was not informative as well that if I switched to polish after having gel that my nails would become brittle and break which is news to me because I have transitioned before. So she failed to inform me. After 4 days two of my nails broke so I called and spoke to the manager he said come in and we will take care of you and fix the problem. When I went in the next day I waited to be seen the manager I spoke to wasn't there. The one there claimed to be aware of the issue, and she argued the point with me and instead of agreeing to what was said on the phone and that they will fix my nails but would have to charge me. The lady who helped me was very snarky and her and the other lady in charge kept going back and fourth in their native tounge shooting looks at me. I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years now and never have felt so disrespected. While fixing my nails she cut the side of my finger open got acrylic all over and around my fingers was not considerate at all about it and still after all of it I decided not to have them finish my nails but still got charged 25$. I am so disappointmented by this nail salon and I will never go back there. For their prices and their sloppy work and talking amongst each other where you can't understand them is rude and not professional. Do not use nail tech Tommy! I had him do an acrylic fill and it was awful. The nail lengths were uneven, some of the nails were not completely covered with polish and underneath it looked like a kindergartner applied it. I had left my glasses at home and didn't realize how bad the job was until after I arrived home. I walked in with my mom, on another visit and they assigned Tommy to give her a gel manicure. I thought he would be able to handle a simple gel application. He cut 2 of her fingers with the nail file, applied the polish sloppily and did not trim her nails as requested. I've been here once before. I didn't care for the pedi. I went back after 2 years or so, hoping for a better experience, since it's so close to my house. This will be the last time. The girl rolled her eyes when I asked for a French gel pedicure...almost like she can't stand doing them. Then she barely scrubbed my feet. really frustrated with this place. I have been a loyal customer here for years, and it's a hit or a miss- today was certainly a miss. the technicians are always great, however the management is generally extremely rude and unhelpful. today I went in to receive a gel pedicure and regular manicure, and was there for almost two hours because my manicure didn't start until my sandals were being put back on which wouldn't have caused a big issue except for the fact that I didn't get the color I requested. I requested the color "orange aura" and when my technition brought it out, she showed me a color that was much more of a bubblegum pink than the mango-pink I was hoping for. I voiced my concern and she told me that it would look better on, so I hesitantly agreed to allow us to continue with that color. after the first coat I once again said that it was too pink, and she told me that it would look better after the second coat, so foolishly I allowed her to continue painting my toes. after she was done they were bright 6-year-old girl pink and when I went up to the counter with the swatch and explained to the receptionist what had happened, she laughed and agreed and told me she would go to get the manager to fix it. The manager refused to comp my pedicure, discount it, or even give me a damn color change which is ALL I was asking for. I just wanted a color change that didn't make my feet look like the Easter Bunny had puked on them. Awful pedicure when it came to the polishing.  They are in such a hurry that they do not allow your polish to dry.  They rush you out and don't care if you mess your toes up on the way out! Went for a gel manicure/pedicure. She first tried to talk me out of the color I chose and then told me they were out of both colors that I wanted but they really weren't. My mani pedi turned out fine but the pedicurist was way too rough and left scratches on my foot! She also made my cuticle bleed. Not fun! Read Less

This was my first time coming to this place. It was open late, I needed a pedicure and a fill, so I gave it a try. It was very hard to understand them and they didn't seem to care. The pedi was fast, looked okay but I wouldn't pay for this service again. After the fast pedi they moved me over to get my fills done,the women who was supposed to do them left so they moved me over to another chair. The women who attended me was a nice lady, offered to stay late, to finish up my nails.I kind of felt like they rushed the whole time and my fills didn't come out how I wanted but it was okay since they did stay later for me. Pampering at its fines! Prices are a bit pricy and the message chair I was in was broken. The location is nice, clean, service is ok, I don't know why I always feel rushed during my manicure and pedicure. If I am paying 60 bucks for a mani/pedi plus a tip I don't want to be rushed out the door and my message was so quick. I came to pamper myself and it did not feel that way! I really loved them, but I quit going after they started charging too much for for my fills. it was $35 for my glitter fills then $40 and last time it was $45. You would think after a person has been going to them loyally for 2 years they wouldn't keep changing the price when it says one thing on the menu and they charge another price. I always went to kimberly and i was told she was going to have a baby but she was working at another place. I have been going to Aqua Nail Spa for about a year, but I will not be going back after my last experience. My mother and I went in to get our nails done. I wanted a gel manicure and my mother got a full set acrylic over her natural nails. The lady that I had was very rough, and she made me bleed when she was cutting my cuticles. I picked a color and then requested silver glitter over the top. When it came time to put the glitter on my nails she had picked gold. I told her that I wanted silver and she kept telling me that I needed gold. I thought she wasn't understanding me so one of the other girls that works there told her that I wanted silver and she still refused to give me the color that I wanted. I ended up just letting her do whatever because I was so frustrated. My mother wanted her nails cut down a little bit and the guy cut them all the way down. He made her bleed and he filed her nail crooked so it was lopsided. When she pointed it out to him, he ignored her.The other thing that is really annoying about this place was the staffs behavior. There will be a group of them sitting at the manicure tables eating and smacking their food and making a mess all over the manicure tables. There was even a lady sitting there picking her nose and wiping it on the table!!!!When we got home, we called the manager and explained what happened. The manager told us to come back in and get our money back. My mother went in a few days later to get the money and he refused to give it to her. He said that he will only give us a portion back and it had to be in a gift card. I called and explained that I didn't want a gift card after our service and I just wanted our money back and he still refused to give it to us.I was so disappointed that we will not be going back at all.
