They did an absolute chop Shop job on my nails. They told me that I needed a brand new set even though I'd had a brand new set 2 months prior. But I said fine whatever she said it was the same amount as getting a fill anyway. Then it's like she became completely absent and just started making mistakes like I don't like the way they're shaped, I don't like the gel she put on top, it makes it look yellow and odd from the tips. I would rate this place ZERO stars If I could . The lady who did my nails didn't really seem like she knew what she was doing . First off she stared off by supergluing the tips on and then ripping it off THREE times to replace it . Then She cut me with the file extremely bad and I was bleeding a lot . She continued to use the same file with blood all over it and all I could think about was the possibility of her doing that before and using the same file on me . GROSS not to mention my finger was in pain and she added this clear solution that burned the cut extremely badly . I have not gotten my nails done in 10 years I splurge and decided my kids are older and I will get my nails done this place looks great I will try it out. I went and got my nails done and was happy with the way they looked. 3 days after getting my nails done I saw them lifting and growing out. I would never go back to them again they did not want to give me what I asked for and I felt as if I was a burden to them because I wanted my nails a certain way. This was my first time trying this place out, I came in for a fill with gel. They did a good job on the shape. The gel polishes were all old and none looked like the colors on display which upset me a bit. As I went to pay I saw the menu which said 20$ for a gel fill (I also had 2 nails broken that they fixed) my total ended up being 38$. I asked why she charged me so much she said it's because I had 2 broken nails to fix. I guess it costs and extra 18$ to fix 2 nails... I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Read Less

I came here with my family. We had an appt for 3 and got served fast. I had a pedicure and manicure. For my pedicure the woman cut my ingrown nails so harsh one of my toes bled and two days later it still hurts to walk. Definitely won't be going here again. Read Less

Used the Groupon today for the deluxe mani and pedi. Jenny made me feel so comfortable and took her time to make it a relaxing experience. She did such a great job, my toes and fingernails look amazing. My feet and legs received a good massage, hot rocks, heated towel wrap. I can't rave about my experience enough, it was wonderful!! Diane made me appointment on the phone and was so very friendly also. I would highly recommend going there, not only if you have a coupon... they seem to have regular specials. Really really wanted to love this nail salon! It was my first time there and the "spa" part was amazing! Massage feet and legs, hot rocks, hot towels. I'd give that 5 stars. Now I didn't realize until I really looked close at my toenails, I got cut and the polish is not even, honestly I could have done a better job. Not to mention my two thumbnails are already chipped. Spent over 2 hours there and I just really thought it was better. Nice staff but at the same time you can tell they like to chat about or towards you. Mind you the pedicure was done at 130 and by 5 I had a huge chip :( everyone was very nice and it was clean but frustrating my toes didnt last but a few hours . To make this short because I'm on lunch, I will never go here again! I got a gel manicure here about 3-4 weeks ago and it was so good! The girl was really sweet and gentle on my hands! I decided to go back because of the service I received the last time. That is not what I got. The older lady was super rude to not only me but to a girl in there as well. It felt as if they were trying to bully her out of her money! She cut my nails short when I asked for  just the square shape! There are bubbles on my nails and she cut my finger. She didn't say one word to me besides the necessary "what color?" Before I could even grab my purse and get up she says "no you pay here" like I was going to run out or something. My mom and I went to this salon and they treated us like a queen and a princess. They gave us an excellent foot massage and the service was great. They made our toes look so  Elegant and soft. While you are sitting getting your feet massaged with a foot exfoliater and a warm purple goo that makes your feet warm you can get a back massage by a massage chair available to your desire. Sammiy is an amazing nail technician. She has a super adorable picture of her kids at her workspace and will converse with you. I came in with a broken nail and she fixed it without hurting me too much. I absolutely love how she asked if it's okay and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She did a wonderful job on my nails and nothing was uneven. I did get aryclics and she made sure to make them perfect for me. Absolutely love her. I will make more appointments with her. I went here with my husband who took me out to pamper me. Not only was the owner Diane amazingly sweet, she did the most amazing job on my nails. I got a gel fill and i walked out of there loving my nails more than when i walked in. It took a little longer than usual, only by a few minutes but it was well worth it because they are beyond perfect. I just recently discovered this place. My friends birthday was coming up so I figured I could treat her and myself to a nice basic Manicure. What I like about this place is that they offer paraffin wax and hot stone massage along with it. I made an appointment. We go in and they had us sit in totally different areas. I was like I made an appointment, the lady said "I know but everyone busy. She help her on other side." I was disappointed. What's the point of making an appointment if you can't be seated together?On top of that they kept saying "Why do regular manicure when you can do gel manicure. It better and last longer" I was like I know but I wasn't about to spend $50 bucks for two people to get gel manicure.My massage didn't even last long. She put my hands in the wax for less then a minute each then took the stone and some lotion and one minute later she was done with the massage! I was like wtf?!? I will usually bring in a picture of what I want and they are almost always able to replicate it. They have always been polite to me. WOW. Dear Yelpers, if you value your respect, time and dignity, save your money and go to the other 10+ nail salons around this area. I made a Yelp acct to look at reviews a long time ago but now I signed in to write my first review. Iv been going to this place for years and I loved it! I moved to Austin, TX two years ago to go to school and just moved back to Sac. This place has just been a disaster. I went to go get a shellac manicure and the lady was really rude and really rough. I normally don't care because I'm easy going, but she rushed me and I felt the job she did was not worth even the $25. Ladies or gens, trust me when I say this place has gone to ZERO stars! After 4 days, the shellac on my thumbs lifted and of course I'm unhappy. I went back and NICELY asked them to fix the problem. I immediately felt the attitude seeping out of her. She proceeded to ask if I remember the color. The shellac on thumb #1 chipped off at the tip so she removed all of the shellac and proceeded to repaint it. This is a light pink color (named: tickled pink) so you must at least have three coats. She only apply two coats and when I saw her start putting on the clearcoat I asked her if she was going to put on a third (very nicely) because I don't know if she was partially blind or not but you can see the lines of the brush clearly on there. She then huffed and puffed and applied a third layer. For thumb #2, there was no chip but you can clearly see a centimeter of air on the tip of the bail. SHE TOOK THE CLEAR COAT AND JUST PAINTED OVER IT! I was flabbergasted. As soon as I open my mouth to ask if she thought that would fix the air bubble problem, she raised her hand and said, "you no worry, itz fine itz fine no probdem". It's sad because I used to love this place. Sorry, but I'd give this place a NEGATIVE 5  stars if Yelp would kindly offer that option. Oh and did I mention in the middle of everything, an senior African American lady came in with her puppy and asked "are you busy?", the lady who did my nails ignored her (which was absolutely bizarre to me) for at least 40 seconds then proceeded to state, "sorry we buzy". I was shocked! I'm not saying she's a racist but that was no way to treat our senior citizens. The poor lady stumbled out and said, "I understand, thank you." Ewwwwwww is all I have to say to this behavior. Sometimes I read reviews and think people overreact....lets just say I got a taste of their opinions in my own experience. I would NOT go back here. I have gotten several pedicures from here but tonight it was outstanding!   Jackie is amazing, so friendly and helpful!   She went above and beyond whats expected.  2 hours making sure my dry skin, cuticle, shaping my nails and messaging.   I opt for #2 which has perifin dip.  She took her time to paint my nails to perfection.   The message chairs are amazing. Not impressed, my daughter and I went in.I wanted pedi andMy daughter wanted a full set French mani with design she showed the lady and the lady said No problem.  The French tips were great but it came down to  design, my daughter asked for a turtle and THAT'S not what she got.  She also didn't want the full nail colored That's not a French tip.. she didn't even know what to say when they got done.  She was speechless..Myself got a pedicure, I had to ask 3 times for hot water, then the lady barked at me OK I get hot and then another lady when scraping the cuticle jabbed my toes that I said THAT HURTS she look at me crazy and talked some Vietnamese to her co worker.  OVER PRICED AND NOT FRIENDLY..AND NOT IMPRESSED,  The TRIED to push Gel polish at $15 omg WOW I can buy a bottle for that price.  GET OUT OF HERE.. Before about a year sgo, I had never gotten my nails done. I got my first set done at Madison and Kenneth, and they chipped in a week. I went back in, and they gave me a fill (yes, instead of just fixing them) and of course, another week later, my nails were in bad shape. I refused to go back. I had decided that nails must not be for me and abandoned the idea. Then my friend introduced me to Top Star Nails. I have had gel polish put on that lasted three weeks here! And after I told them about my bad experience, they convinced me to go ahead and try another set of nails...so I did. And i am so glad. I have had my nails done by every girl at this shop, except maybe the newest one. I have found that I really love Lisa, and make an appointment with her every time...but that doesn't mean that the others are bad. Lisa just has a style that I like. All of the girls are very nice. Their prices are fair and they have always done a goo job. My nails last me 3 to 4 weeks, and I get them filled when they are too long for me, not because they are falling off. All of the girls make it a point to have a conversation with me, and remember me by first name. They treat you right if you treat them right...just like anywhere else.As far as I'm concerned, this is the best nail place around. Read Less

It was easy to make an appointment and get in, and they do nice work, but I do have a couple of complaints:1) They don't give you the option as to whether they cut or push your cuticles. They just grab the scissors and go to town. (Ow!)2) I had a gorgeous shade of dark red that I wanted as a base with white tips, but instead of giving me what I wanted the lady doing my nails walked away and came back with a brighter color. I don't know how this place has so many stars. I went in for a simple little basic manicure and she walks over with a paraffin wax and hot stone massage. It was very nice, but I didn't ask for it. I just wanted Halloween color on my nails. She did a good job, but 2 days later I had cops on at least half, not just wearing, but big chips of color gone. When I went in to see if I could get them to touch it up, she asked if they were my real nails, yes, real nails chip 2-3 days. And said no.
