I’ve been coming to Sunrise Nails since I moved into the area a couple years ago. I don’t get my nails done often but when I do I come here. I recently brought my mom and sister here to get our nails done for Mother’s Day and they both raved about how nice everyone was and loved how their nails turned out. This was my best place yet to get my nails and pedicure I was feeling very sad that day but I wanted the works the service there was absolutely fantastic my mother had passed away two years prior it was acually the same time i took my mother before she passed away  i did not want to go where I took her before. I found this new place  I went in and they treated me very kind  when I got my pedicure I just loved  it !!!! This place is terrible! I'm used to do fiber Glass for more than 10 years and this one was the worst one ever!!! It never happened to me!! They did hurt me a lot and as you can see in the picture the finishing was terrible! Undoubtedly they don't have ideia how to do it right!!! I don't recommend this place, waste of money!!! The staff here is amazing. They are kind and accommodating, and they always do an incredible job. The pedicures with the hot stone massage are incredible, and the acrylic full sets last for WEEKS without lifting. I cannot recommend this place enough! Read Less

Very nice and clean nail salon. Stoped here wile traveling through Sacramento. My daughter got a basic mani and pedi while I got a fill and deluxe pedi. The staff was very friendly and were great in accommodating us as a walkin. They treated my young daughter very respectfully and I am very satisfied with my nails. I used to go here allot- then I stopped because my appts. where not being honored. After a year I went back with an appt--but David (owner) kept taking in so many walkins and overbooking that he no chairs for my scheduled pedi. money is all that matters here, not the customer-I paid for my nails even tho he left glue all over my fingers and did not do them how I asked. I didnt even polish them. If you want to waste time, be taken advantage of and unappreciated, go here. Also , if you are with David-expect him to stop working on you at least 10 times during your appt to answer all the calls and book (overbook) allot of appointments...Like most of these shops--they only see GREEN! For the life of me, I cannot understand why this place is so highly rated, other than the fact that they're affordable. My husband and I came here to get pedicures, based on all the great Yelp reviews. Everything about our experience was negative:- The lady on the phone who scheduled our appointments was rushed and rude, as was the lady who "greeted" us when we arrived. - We scheduled an appointment for 2pm on a Saturday, because the reviews mentioned how busy they get. It was all for naught, though, because we had to wait 20 minutes past our appointment time for two chairs to open up. - The filth factor was high in this shop. We watched in horror as they "cleaned" the chair basins before we sat down. They literally just sprayed it briefly with a cleaning product, and swirled a toilet brush around the basin twice, before rinsing (I doubt they actually also use the toilet brush in the toilets, but that's what the cleaning tool was).  It took about 10 seconds, start to finish. - They used the same disgusting dremmel tool on one customer's calluses after another - no cleaning it or swapping out parts.  Super Eew!!!- They were packed, and turned away multiple walk-ins while we were there, over the course of about an hour. This is not the type of place you go to if you want a relaxing spa experience. This is more of an inexpensive sweatshop experience, where you go if you don't care about hygiene. Even my husband was skeeved out by the place, and we left wondering if we'd contracted anything. Anytime my toe itched over the course of the next month, I worried it might be the beginnings of an infection (6 weeks later and I feel like all is well and we're in the clear :))That said, my gel pedicure was cheap and lasted about 5 weeks. Wish I would of found out about this place a lot sooner! The sweetest people ever who took their time with my gel manicure and pedicure. My nail tech took her time making sure that my nails were perfect and I was so happy that both of my services included a luxurious massage that lasted for what seemed like ever!! The good reviews led me here and they DID NOT disappoint!!! I've heard that they are usually busy so I called at open(9am) and was able to get in at 11. I needed an acrylic fill with gel polish and Lee was my nail tech. She listened to my requests as I wanted a shape change. She took her time and shaped them exactly how I wanted them. This place is clean, organized, and although I didn't have one, gives some badass pedicures with leg/foot massages. I watched as one person after another sat down for their pedicure. I LOVE this place! I will for sure be coming back here. I have the best pedicure I have in a long long time. The message was the best part and also I get ingrown toenails on my big toes and Julie was able to get them out for me and my toe nails still look great. Salon is very clean. I have been on the hunt for a new nail salon/ manicurist and I'm pretty sure I've found it today! Stopped in after work with out an appointment ( that's my test on how an annoying walk-in will be treated). The ladies were so sweet and accommodating, they made me feel very welcome. I asked for a pedi to just try the place out. My nail tech was Lee, she was great at her job and gives one hell of a massage. She definitely took her time and pampered my tired little feet. She finished up with a paraffin dip, hot stone massage and a great polish, all for 30$. What a deal!!! The place is clean and well maintained. I noticed they have an autoclave which means sterile tools. Yay! They also have a huge polish selection, which is great for people like me who love be to change things up. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon for more pampering. Read Less

I get excited when I see high yelp reviews. This place was "A-OK." Small place in a Citrus Heights strip mall. Pro's: - They were able to accommodate two pedicures that day (it was my friend's bday)- massage chairs- relatively inexpensive. $20 for a pedicure, $25 for "deluxe" pedicure, etc... - Staff was friendly enough and smiled a bit more than normal places. - Looked like they had a sterilizer to sterilize their tools- They give you disposable slippers to wear after your pedicure and let you sit under a foot dryer thing. Con's: - Could be a bit cleaner. Found the massage table trays sticky and floor around the chairs had hair, etc. - a lot of the colors looked like they were almost out and had been around for awhileI'm not a pedicure expert by any means. We usually only go when a friend has a baby :). So, it's about once a year. This place was fine, better than average, I guess, but just found it could use a good cleaning. We chose the $25 upgraded package. 1) Pick your color2) Foot soak in a large massage chair3) He didn't trim my nails, since they were pretty short4) Trim cuticles (kind of hurt, but maybe they all do)5) Buff area w/ sugar scrub6) upgraded seaweed masque7) upgraded hot stone foot/leg massage. This actually kind of hurt. I've had surgery on my ankle, so maybe that's why (duh!), but I didn't find the pressure of the stones on my bones relaxing. Would probably skip this next time8) Rough towel rub down of feet/legs9) I believe they applied a base coat, but I was busy talking w/ my friend, was wasn't paying attention too much. 10) Nail color, and I believe top coat? Chatting too much! 11) Disposable slippers, then dryer time in the front of the store This place reminds me a bit of a "Happy Day Spa." Not fancy, but it gets the job done. Came here due to Yelp reviews. Called in last minute--a little bit of miscommunication in the beginning. I called and asked if they had any openings for today and she said they had an opening if I came right now. I had said it would take me 15 minutes to get there and that I'd leave in 15 minutes. I got there in 30 minutes like I said but the lady said she expected me 15 minutes ago and didn't have another opening until 2pm, which was about an hour later. I said ok because I could get how she had misunderstood. Luckily I was planning on going to the gym so I did my workout and returned exactly at 2 like promised. Besides the miscommunication she did a great job. I haven't had a manicure in a while and she educated me on how to maintain my nails at home if I went through these long spells without going to the salon. I got a gel French manicure on my real nails and she did a great job--everything was even and symmetric, she filed my nails well too. Cost was $30 and I tipped $10 bc she really was super sweet and was accommodating even with the miscommunication. Definitely will be back! Read Less

I have lived in CH for over 2 years and I wish I tried this place sooner. I think its been about 6-8 months since I started coming here and I LOVE THEM. They do a really good job! I usually get David but am always pleased when any of the girls do my nails too. Quite a few of my gel manis have lasted up to 3 full weeks! (not all but that's awesome)Pedicures are great too!  On one visit I was getting a pedi and get mani, it was so relaxing with soft music and massage that i dozed off!  I have a friend who drives from East Roseville to come here with me because they are the bomb!  Appointments not required but I would recommend making one because they do get busy.
