Looking for a good manicurist or nail shop with a caring philosophy for the health of one's nails is a challenging feat. One that does good qualify work is an added bonus! I was calling around for availabilities as my nails had run its course. I called about 5 near the area of South Chula Vista getting pricing and a sense of the workers' attitude. When I called this establishment, I was greeted with a welcoming sweet, pleasant and caring lady who actually cared about her clientele's nails! I explained my situation that I needed fills for 6 of my fingers as the other four had ripped off painfully before being able to get them taken care of. I asked if I would have to get a full set of acrylics or would it be considered fills. She recommended I come in because they like to try to salvage the nail the best way they can since it's healthier for the nail. I liked her philosophy as she cared about the customers' health of the nail and not just about making $5-10 to remove old acrylics then charge for the full set of acrylics which is costlier than fills. She set me up for an appointment with Jazmine Sanchez at 2:45pm. I later came to discover that the lady on the phone was the owner of the boutique. I was impressed with the fancy elegant chairs you get to sit in, the clean environment and the lack of that awful smell that fumigates a lot of nail salons. The only drawback is that the fancy looking chairs for pedicures do not offer spa pedicures with massages. It is old school but u do feel like a princess sitting in the chairs! I was also impressed by my manicurist's nails which were long stiletto encapsulated nails. Jazmine was nice, relatable, and extremely passionate about her job working on nails. She loves to do them, is quick and knows what she is doing. She has a creative flair and can talk story to you like you've been friends for years! She was patient in taking her time to help select complimentary colors best suited for my hands' skin tone. I felt I received good quality work with a good memorable and enjoyable story and I did not get hurt throughout my time with her, which I often did at other salons. Very nice techs and decent prices! I got there at 7pm and they were due to close at 7:30. They was full when I arrived but the nail tech still took his time to do a great job on my nails and toes. First let me say that it took me a LONG time to find a nail shop that could do what I really like. Renya was very knowledgeable and did exactly what I wanted. I will say that the "upgrades" gel, stones, nail art is a bit pricey and can add up quick but I enjoyed my service and got 5.00 off for being a first time visitor which I appreciated. Jazmine was awesome! Super knowledgeable and personable. Did this full set for 45. I came with out an appointment and was with my nail artist within the hour. I too like many others on here have been following them on IG for a while before making my first appointment! I especially wanted to go to a place where they understand not only english but understand what & how you want it! Reyna is my forever girl when I go there! She is sweet and gentle and knows exactly how to make you feel valued! I chose a gel color that I was unhappy with, texted her later that day & told me there was a 72 hour complimentary color change! I will start off by saying I will never ever ever go to this nail shop again nor will I ever refer them to anyone my experience was horrible.when I initially talked to Valerie to make the appointment she was so nice she had great customer service she spoke so highly of the girls that work at the nail shop and I decided to make the appointment and come in.when I went in there were no prices displayed but I did follow them on Instagram so I was able to go to the website to make an appointment but when I tried to make an appointment they wanted my credit card information so of course I didnt put my credit card information but in the mist of all that I saw their prices and  a full set of 30 and fill was 20 and then little so im thinking OK I'll probably end up paying like maybe 40 bucks, 50. my appointment was with Jasmine I showed her what I wanted off their Instagram and it just so happened that She was the nail artist of the design that I like so I was like cool but I overhear her asking her coworker how to do it that shouldve been my red flag regretfully I didn't Say anything.so I got one now on each hand chromed and the other one with the design that I saw on Instagram she's ringing me up and I'm noticing like damn she's clicking a lot of stuff so by the time she was done the total came to $84 (btw I got my 10-year-old daughter a pedicure and that was $21) AnyWay, im livid but I don't show it I just thanked Jasmine gave her a tip and hesitantly made an appointment for two weeks out.I get in my car and I look at my nails and they look horrible the chrome nail is already chipped the nails with the glass rhinestones were lumpy. I went home and I said you know what I'm just gonna go to my nail shop tomorrow and have my nail lady do it but then I thought about it no I'm going to go back to them so that they can fix my nails because that's unacceptable so I text Valerie and I let Valerie know I sent her pictures. I called her she has the worst customer service ever. she kept throwing other nail shops under the bus she was arguing with me and I wasn't even arguing with her and that made me so mad and I'm just like I want a refund so she went on and on about how they don't give refunds so I said where does it say in the shop that you don't give refunds she said right next to our business license I said excuse me where is that it's right by the register she said I didn't see it so I said I need you to contact the owner and she's like I will send her an email usually takes her two days to reply no it didn't take me two days to get these horrible Nails I decided To give them a SECOND chance I get to the nail shop and I can tell Jasmine is a little irritated but I don't care I just paid you $84 well excuse me I pay $76 because they took some money off of my daughters pedicurebut that's still too much damn money. So as she's drilling my nails I noticed my pinky nail broke... and initially she fix one of my nails that were already broke. she built the nail. the nail didn't look anything like the rest of my nails my friends and coworkers were like what's up with that one nail? why does it stick straight up like that?so I let Valerie know that I want that nail off and I want a tip so anyway Jasmine is not even apologetic about me having to come back because the nails didn't look right they try to blame it on the gel she proceeds to tell me that she's going to have to charge me for the Pinky nail.. that is broke because Valerie didn't tell her about that but Valerie said we had a 72 hour warranty and it was 48 hours but She said "U got a fill I didn't do that nail so you have to pay for it. I got quiet thinking whatever just do my nails. so I'm done with the nail I'm not satisfied with the nails. So when we're done we get to the register and Jasmine's like you're all set and I'm like no where is my $14 refund then she tried to explain some bull crap that didn't make any sense at all. I had the text from valerie stating she would give me a refuNd. When she called Valerie she she tried explaining the same bull crap. I added everything up and it didnt add up to the amount she said so she had no choice to give me a refund. That i still do not see in my account. Read Less

- This place penny pinches every chance they get. Pricing is not posted anywhere. They will ask you to select what you'd like then tell you the cost after everything is said and done. - Scheduling here is an absolute nightmare!- This is doing business with a bunch of young people who have not seemed to grasp the concept of running an actual business. - For the cost they charge I expect exceptional service. The level of service is underwhelming. - They should also warn their customers parking is not ideal here either and could potentially be a problem. There are several other businesses in this tiny strip of shops and depending on the time you come there may not be parking. Read Less

I've been following them on instagram for months and hadnt gone because it's a long drive for me. Well I really wanted nail art for February so I booked an appointed with Reyna. She was awesome at communicating and understood exactly what I wanted. When I got there the staff was very friendly. The decor is cute and they offered complimentary beverages. There were also lil chocolates by the register which I thought was so sweet of them. Reyna did an amazing job with my nails and exceeded my expectations. I love this cute nail salon centrally located in Chula Vista. I get my nails done by nail queen Reyna and she always does beautiful work...Whenever I come in with a nail design idea or inspiration she always makes it come to life. Everyone on the staff there is always very friendly and welcoming and the owner Valeri is very accommodating as well. I've never had much trouble finding parking and I like that they autoclave their tools so I know they care about cleanliness. To keep it short, the nails here look great when you leave, but after a day or two they are a mess. I had a gel manicure that was peeling off within 3 days and a crystal full set that the crystals all popped off or faded within 48hrs, both done by Jasmine. I tried to come in to get them fixed, but they have such a small staff and hours available I couldn't get in and had to go get them fixed at my normal spot around the corner.I like Jasmine as a person and its nice being in there solo without others talking around you, but with high prices for nails that dont last I just have to say I'll never be back.There is one other nail technician... maybe she does a better job. Update: I decided to give this place a second chance after losing my studs the day i got my nails done and having 5 broken nails in a period of a week and a half after my initial visit (in which they did fix 2 but after 3...4.. and 5 I removed the set because I do not have time to be going in every day for that "quick fix")I went in again 4 days ago and got a simple 1 color full set with 3 studs on 2 nails and it came out to $50. I wouldn't mind paying the price if the nails lasted more than a few days. It is extremely expensive and I am very unsatisfied, I have already lost 2 studs and this morning what do you know.... My daughter and I had our nails done by Jazmine Friday night. We were both asked if our nails looked alright and we said yes. However, once I got home I noticed my nails snagging on clothes,blankets,etc. So of course I looked at my nails closely and saw the acrylic was applied uneven, they were not smooth, my thumb is crooked, and my daughter has similar issues with her nails. I contacted the owner Valerie and she said we can come back in to have a couple of nail techs to fix them. I advised, I was not comfortable having anyone at her shop to fix them and would like my refund of $101.00. Per Valerie she will not refund my money for someone else to fix them and it will be a quick fix for them to fix. So now, my daughter and I are unhappy and did not receive $101 quality work.Thank you for your response, however as I stated i do not feel comfortable with having work done at your location. Yes, you did overhear me say I've been to 2 others salons, but you did not hear me say they were not good in quality. I remember advising you my normal nail technician had an emergency and wasn't available to service us that moment. Why would I want to come back and the 1st time is not correct? So I called and made and appointment last minute the girl who answered was super nice and professional, when I got there I was greeted with a smile and a mimosa. They have super cute decor and it's very clean which is a plus. Jasmine was my nail tech today and she took her time and did an absolute fabulous job she definitely made my nails lookWay better then what they had done at a previous place. Great little nail salon!! The girls are really nice and they helped me figure out what happen to one of my nails. They explained how to fix it and treat it and had I gone to one of other Asian salons they probably wouldn't have told me at all. They were so nice to talk to and they did a great job on my nails and my mother-in-laws full gel set. Great Price!! For my fill & nail fix it was $19 AWESOME!! Definitely want to get a pedi next time. MIL's nails were $30 for her full gel set. Excellent Customer Service. Cleanliness I give it 5  Stars! I was greeted with a smile and a Mimosa! Nice way to start off my Saturday morning!:) Reyna assisted me . And she was pleasant and professional. She was detailed and a perfectionist ! Loved that. I like putting my hard earned money to good use.
