Looked like a regular place... but whatever they put on my skin... while I was there my right foot got a couple of drops of something, whatever it was my foot is burning like crazy, like they spilled acid. 30 mins later, still burning and now my hands feel like they got something on it. I am totally bummed out I came in as a walk in but because I have chosen the most affordable pedi/mani I feel like I'm getting a crappy job! Super rushed I don't think a pedicure should be done in 18 minutes flat I asked for the scrubber to do me heels myself. The tech put his hand in my polish and then tried to cover it up with more polish instead of cleaning it off and starting over. My hard earned money was wasted here, and while I remind myself that it's only money (there are far more important things in life) I can't help but regret doing my nails at this place. First of all, I was NOT able to relax at this place. I felt rushed the whole time, the two women (one working on my feet, the other on my hands) were constantly either talking to me or talking amongst themselves in their language (which is very rude since I don't know what they're talking about) in loud voices might I add. They were very sloppy, especially the one who was working on my hands. She went ahead and smeared lotion on my Fitbit while she was massaging my arms and didn't even bother to wipe it so I did it myself. I got a bad vibe from them, maybe because I'm not a regular? One would think they'll want to have a bigger clientele so they'll try and impress me so that I'll go back. If you ask me, I've no clue why anyone would wanna go to a place like this when there are tons in San Diego. I'm not a big fan of this nail salon. Last time I came in, Kim did my nails. Everything seemed fine until a "regular" walked in and after that she seemed to rush her work and half ass everything. She didn't even offer to push back my cuticles. Overall, my nails were decent but definitely over priced. I could tell that she didn't even take her time to add on the tips correctly because not even 24 hours later, one of my nails broke as I was trying to put on my shoe. Spa pedicure $25. Deluxe spa pedicure $32. I decided to treat myself by getting a deluxe pedicure. A bit of a wait... 15 minutes but it was a Saturday afternoon. Parking is average. Prices are a little expensive. Overall I did enjoy my pedicure because she thoroughly cleaned my feet and cleaned up my cuticles.The best part of my service was the hot stone massage. I've never ever had a hot stone foot massage with a pedicure. My pedicure did feel a little rushed. The massage was very brief. I wish it was a little longer. Nevertheless, I can appreciate that they use great quality products and that the salon was clean inside and out. Mostly importantly, I value how they don't charge an extra fee of $1 or $2 for using your debit card like most nail salons do. Read Less

I went to Nails for Sure today with my mom in the morning, and I experienced what has been my worst experience and embarrassment by a business ever in my life.  The two ladies that did my nails were very sweet, my mom waited to get her nails done, as soon as her lady was done with another customer she started working on my moms pedicure, by this time I had finished, I have a Spanish speaking mother that depends on me to translate, so my mom asked me to ask the lady to please get rid of all the excess cuticle my mom had (and by the way I've always done this for my mom and no nail salon or lady as ever had any problem with it ever, they always say yes of course no problem) I then asked the lady if she could please make sure to get rid of all of the extra cuticle my mom had, for she always had a lot, and let me reassure you I said this in a very kind voice, in no way was I mean or at all assertive. I waited a few seconds for my response when the lady looked up at me and said " I know what to do. You don't have to tell me how to do my job, this is my job, I know what I'm doing. You don't have to talk to me like that" I'm a very nice person, I proceeded to try to explain myself, she spoke in such a rude tone, I couldn't believe how rude and mean she was being, her boss was there 2 seats away and no one said anything at all, I felt so embarrassed, I began to feel anxious and excused myself with my mom and told her I had to leave, my mom understood, everyone at the salon looked at me as I walked out trying not to cry. Of course, I'm never returning, but I felt that sharing this was necessary, people go to nail spas to relax and be pampered, not to be yelled at and scolded. Read Less

Moved to California from Hawaii and needed some pampering. Found this nail salon on Yelp, and read a lot of good reviews on Kim. Her customer service was on point, and she works fast!! Overpriced! Ordered the regular pedi and charged for deluxe. I'm sure they misunderstood. I paid anyways but I told her she didn't understand. Not worth the price at all. I just went here yesterday for my 25th birthday. I was a walk in however I would make an appointment next time. They were so nice and friendly and were quick to accommodate. It has taken me 3 months to write this review just in the hopes that they will prove me wrong. I have been coming to this salon since 2007. I didn't really have any issues with anyone. The owner was always very nice but seemed selective on who she worked on. I saw that she had her "regulars ". My issues started 3 months ago when I took my DIL to have her fills done. The lady who started her fills stopped in the middle of the process to get another customer who walked in and have her a gift bag. We waited to see if she would return to finish the job. She didn't. I finish my fills and watched as she ignored my DIL. The only male manicurist there finished the job. Soon after the happened, every time I went in for a fill the had the male manicurist do my nails. I didn't have a problem with it until he started to hurt my hand. Every single time I went in he was in such a rush to complete my nails he sliced and cut me. This last time was the last straw. 2 deep cuts and no freaking apology. He blamed me for having "too round nails". I will no longer return or recommend. Read Less

Meh... needed a place to get my nails done due to the usually place I go was full.   The other reviews are correct as well the customer service is lacking the woman doing my nails never spoke one word to me or ask any questions and was a bit rough.Although my nails did turn out well I'm a little concerned because they're thinner than normal so we will see if I get any breakage in the next two weeks. THE WORST PLACE!! The workers are rude especially the guy. They charged $35 for a FILL!! A fill is $20, NOT $35. I hate this place. Never go!!!! Also the workers, Korean?? Japanese?? Chinese?? I come here because it's down the street from my Grams house & I'm there every weekend.  Every time I come there nice. They do an awesome job every time. I get the deluxe spa Pedicure. They use a warm stone that feels so good on your legs & feet. They prefer cash, so try not to use credit /debit.Kim is the owner & she does nails very good! This used to be my go to place before I discovered other places which are far more better. When you first walk in the owner is sitting beside her table. She's usually doing someone's nails. But other than that she's very loud and can be a bit rude. The place in general doesn't seem like the cleanest. I have to say that when I came here I felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable. I got a full set of acrylics done here. The shape was perfect but the length I asked for was off and the acrylic started to peel like crazy after 3 weeks. The workers are kind but aren't very careful. In general this place isn't the cleanest. Also, I asked for stones vertically across my ring fingers and on one hand they but 6 stones and on the other they put 7  The prices are very normal compared to other salons so it's reasonable.
