I went to Nails for Sure today with my mom in the morning, and I experienced what has been my worst experience and embarrassment by a business ever in my life. The two ladies that did my nails were very sweet, my mom waited to get her nails done, as soon as her lady was done with another customer she started working on my moms pedicure, by this time I had finished, I have a Spanish speaking mother that depends on me to translate, so my mom asked me to ask the lady to please get rid of all the excess cuticle my mom had (and by the way I've always done this for my mom and no nail salon or lady as ever had any problem with it ever, they always say yes of course no problem) I then asked the lady if she could please make sure to get rid of all of the extra cuticle my mom had, for she always had a lot, and let me reassure you I said this in a very kind voice, in no way was I mean or at all assertive. I waited a few seconds for my response when the lady looked up at me and said " I know what to do. You don't have to tell me how to do my job, this is my job, I know what I'm doing. You don't have to talk to me like that" I'm a very nice person, I proceeded to try to explain myself, she spoke in such a rude tone, I couldn't believe how rude and mean she was being, her boss was there 2 seats away and no one said anything at all, I felt so embarrassed, I began to feel anxious and excused myself with my mom and told her I had to leave, my mom understood, everyone at the salon looked at me as I walked out trying not to cry. Of course, I'm never returning, but I felt that sharing this was necessary, people go to nail spas to relax and be pampered, not to be yelled at and scolded. Read Less
