I've been going here since 2014. This WAS my favorite place. HOWEVER, ever since August the service has been terrible. It is always so busy so you either wait for an hour or more or they tell you to come back. Even when I make an appointment I still end up waiting. My nails have come out not how I wanted them. I've been cut by staff several times. And even after they seen me bleeding still tried to go right back and file. They charge for everything. Today I waited 40 minutes and I walked in and it was slow. People who came in after me were seated before me. When I spoke up She said "oh show me who because they had appointments." How uncomfortable would that make other girls in there? so unprofessional. I've even had staff complain to me about how they don't get to eat and they never get to leave when it's closing time. 1. don't complain to a customer. 2. that sucks, you can tell they are worked like slaves there. I’ve been going to Kristine here at Diva Nails for over 2 years. I have visited many other nail shops when I’m away from home, and NOBODY is able to give me the quality that Kristine gives me. She takes her time to shape each nail individually according to the shape of my nail bed. I have wide set fingers and nails, but Kristine manages to make my coffin shape set look just as good as anyone with perfect shape nails. She’s also very kind and gentle. I have rarely picked my own color as she always has a good suggestion of what would look good with my skin tone while keeping my taste in mind. The ONLY reason i gave four stars is because most times I’m unable to be seated at my appropriate appointment time, but it’s always worth the wait for her. I have followed the W nail bar salon IG page for a while now. Looking for another nail place to get my nails done was proving to be a tough challenge. After seeing the pictures and videos of the beautiful work the staff at the W nail bar was doing, I decided the drive from Hilliard was worth it! My nail tech (Cheyanne) was fabulous! I was in the other day to have a manicure before the Thread fashion show. I had never had one before. My manicurist Jee Jee was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and did a great job on my nails despite the fact that i was embarrassed because I'm a nail biter. They look the best they ever had and I've managed to not bite them since because they look too pretty. She also was great working with the time restraint i had. Just started coming here. I love this place, the prices are great! The ladies are fast and still do a good job. I'm not that knowledgeable about nails, nor am I that picky, but I've left happy both times I've been here.I come in the morning because that's what works best for me. My friend tells me that they don't take appointments until after 1pm, although that was on a Saturday, so not sure if it's like that everyday. I went today at like 11am (they open at 10am) and I only had to wait about 5-10 minutes. But i think the wait time depends on what kind of nail design you want and if you're waiting for a particular nail technician. I just take whoever, so I don't have to wait. First time there, got a manicure with gel polish. I had chosen my gel polish, when the lady had finished my mani cuticle cutting & filing. She had NOT even started polishing my nails with gel when I asked her if she had the same color as my toes. She said NO, I'm like 🙄oh my gosh, I know they do. I said to myself, so I say, "Wait a moment please, ama go check ". I came back gave her a gel polish number and said I want a different number better, I repeat the number, and sa...y I want to match my toes. She got so upset golly, I started to feel uncomfortable, as she spoke in her language. After that she continued but I felt her different. Even the hand massage was so lame. I've been going to this Nail Salon for a little over 2 years. It's a nice place...low prices BUT....I have a SERIOUS problem with their service when you make an appointment or need to get a nail repaired. They are VERY busy especially on the weekends. I do not mind waiting 5 or 10 minutes but I've waited 30 minutes & even an hour EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. It seems like they are very incompetent when it comes to meeting their clients appointments. And if you want to re...pair a nail they will make you go to the person that originally did your nails. I know they are in it to make money....it's a business. But they will lose a lot of customers if they continue this. Every time I go in there I have to battle with Haley or the Receptionist. I shouldn't have to. The ONLY reason why I go there still & put up with the crap is because my nail technician is awesome & they have good quality products at low prices. But if my nail tech ever leaves...I'm outa there too!! Diva Nails needs to work on this big time!! I used to go to another nail salon for 10 years loyally until they kept doing things that made me mad. So I dropped them. They got two people working the front & it seems like they can't handle it. Everyone that knows me knows I always have my nails on point all the time and knows I've been going to diva nails for years. Today I finally Put my foot down and say no more! I went there like two days ago and got a fill. Did a marble white and black design. They look real nice, well I had a crack on my index finger nail and they just put acrylic over it. Nothing big well it came back. So I go up there today to get it fixed, they always make the same person fix the nail that... did your nails. Which is understandable whatever!! I waited 40 damn mins for her to tell me she's backed up on her appointments and won't be able to fix it. Me: okay, what do I do... her: put Some glue over it you'll be fine. Me: while I don't want it to get worse and break my own nail and can I make a appointment with her? Her: I don't know when? Me: tomorrow morning her: someone calls her name so she walks off. So I wait there another 15mins while someone finally comes and puts some super glue onit and that was it. I'm so sick of there shity customer service. Even when you have a appointment there or not Your waiting a hour and that's the least of time your gonna wait. The girl up front is so rude oh!! And I forgot, once I walked in she seen me and continued to walk away from the front desk and came back like 5 mins later. Not only that last time i came prob two weeks ago I had a appointment at like 9:30am I think tell me why I waited an hour and no one was at the front desk nor did anyone come to me to ask what I needed and then the girl finally gets there to tell me there not open till 10:30am. So why did I get a appointment at 9:30am and there tons of people in the shop getting service but you guys arent open and no one gets to the front desk till 10:30am. But there's a line of people behind me with appointments too and no one is helping up. I'm just so sick of there shity service I'm gonna start going some where else. DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH!! One of my sisters and I were coming here religiously for 3 years, a cpl years back. The salon started to grow fast and their customer service went down the drain; after this I was never taken for my appointments on time and was made felt like I was being rushed out. I continued to go...until I got a fungus on both my big toes. Both my big toe nails fell off. It was horrid! 1 month later my sister got a fungus on one of her fingers which was eating away at her cuticle. Well that was that. Now, my mother brought my youngest sister here on May 29th, 2017 to get her nails done for prom- not knowing mine and my other sisters experience, of course. Well, the nail tech (Diem H Do- is what's shown on her license) nipped my little sister on her right pointer finger. 1 week after (when her nails started to grow out), her real nail...the one she was nippled on started to lift from her skin, it was yellow, basically growing a nasty fungus. I went in to the shop with my youngest sister, in a calm and cool manner. My only request and intention coming in was to ask for a fungus cream ( they use to sell them there in the past when this was my nail place) and yes I did expect to get it for free (reasonable if you ask me since they caused the nasty fungus). I ask the girl up front if they sold this, she said no. I requested to speak with a manager or owner to make them aware of the incident. I got a manager I pointed out the problem and discussed the obvious. She stated that she would grab the owner to see what he wanted to do. I then got the owner, Danny. Danny was SO disgustingly insensitive, unapologetic  and defensive off the bat. I could hardly comment anything back to him. As I quote him, he said, "it's a he say she say situation", "It's not something I care to deal with". He became so loud and argumentative that I was embarrassed to be in there. I explained to him that I no longer needed to hear his arguments and asked for his insurance information. I am a hairstyling and know the industry very well. I will file a complaint through other sources as well as I cannot believe this is a standing company from these experiences I and my family have had here. Worst place in the world !! Please don't go there for your safety an for your wallet !! I spent 38 dollars for medium length almond shape nails with gel. In 7 days they broke 3 times. Which I paid for the repair. They were rude an immediately talked crap in front of me to one another. It hurt so bad everyone one broke my fingers bled an they made me wait an hour to fix 1 nail. They said it was my fault beacuse I removed the nail polish color. Never heard that before. Then to be nice they said they charge me 20 dollars for a fill to fix them the right way! Ha ! The manager is not even there she spoke to me by phone after the receptionist was rude. Then I sat down to get a fill an after the lady had fixed my nail she said she wasn't doing a fill an that she was confused about how to do her job!! Like wow. Just wow. Super over priced ! Don't know why they always want to send me to this girl that doesn't do my nails right. Gave her an extra chance one day and same mess. My nails even after they were done looked like I already needed a fill. Today I went over at 2pm,my petty cure was done normal time. For my nails they had me wait and I was bounced around from one nail desk to another. All the ladies that came in after me were done with their petty cure and fills. Went there for the first time yesterday with the BFF. The pedicure was nice, she tried to be gentle... made me flinch maybe once or twice when trimming. The manicure was simple and looked nice. Keyword - "looked". A couple hours later I noticed the nail tech didn't really go all the way down the edges of the nail, the nail polish had already started chipping by the cuticle and you can tell where she did the second coat of color that it didn't reach the side edges. BEST nail salon I have found since moving to California 7 years ago. No loose nails, no nails popping off. Nails stayed looking nice between fills. Lots of designs. Friendly, helpful staff. If you want a good pedicure ask for Tina. The only problem I have is deciding which design to pick. I would highly reccomend to anyone wanting a great nail salon.
