I came here on a friends recommendation, and got a gel manicure and pedicure. Less than a week after that my gel manicure started chipping away and decided to contact the salon. The technician who I spoke to said I could come in and get it fixed free of charge, but after getting the nails fixed decided to charge me "because I didn't specify it to my technician it was just a fix," despite telling the group of girls who checked me in that I had called earlier about my disappointment in the manicure I got. I am very upset as although the chipping problem is now gone, my nails STILL have bubbles present in the polish. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here. Read Less

The Quality of personal service is gone,  Disappointed in my service , went in for gel manicure , the girl just went through the motions , when she cut and trimmed the cuticles she pulled and torn verses cutting, only gave me 2 coats 1bas and 1clear verses the 3 normally , she didn't clean the  nails after sanding so you see all the bumps in the gel and the sides of the nails where the nail meets the skin , filled with dust and then polished I've . The ladies talk sh*t on customers like crazy. They sat there talking sh*t to my face thinking I wouldn't understand but understood every single word they said. No one should ever be treated with such disrespect regardless of what race, age, etc. They clearly do not have anything else better to talk about than about their customers. I am really sad about having to give this place such a horrible review. I had such high hopes for them. I have been getting acrylics by the same person for 20 years. My nails NEVER break.I was going on vacation and thought what the heck I will try something fun and new. My daughter and I traveled over an hour on Bart from Richmond to Fremont and then spent over $10 to uber to the shop. I spent $95 for a set of gel nails that were supposed to glow with two crystals on each nai...l. This was on 8/25. When I got to Cancun my first nail completely came off on8/30. On 8/31 the second came off. I am not talking breaking I am talking completly coming off. I did message them and they asked me to send them a pic to "diagnose" the problem. By the time I feft Mexico (i was there a total of 6 days) I had a total of 5 nails come completely fall off and 3 lift. Iasked them to return my $95. I don't feel as if that was a lot to ask. They gave me some crap about me maybe not being able to being used to the product they use and that they would fix my foul nails and gice me 20% off a service. That to me is unacceptable. I was on vacation and walked around a jazz festival with famous nail performers with ghetto nails. Why would I want to travel all that way to basically have them fix my nails only to take the chance to have the same thing happen again. No thank you. In the message to me they made some offensive remark to me about needing to learn to treat my nails as jewels and not tools. I was on vacation how much could I have been doing. I was barely in the water due to the tropica l rain. Unfortunately these ladies need some education on running a successful business. I understand things can happen but when you pay $95 for a set of nails they should last at least 2 weeks. My daughter had her done the same day and had 4 of hers break within a week and by the time I came home from vacation she had already went somehwere else to have them redone. I guess this is what Iget for straying away from the best nail artist ever that had been doing my nails for 20 years. Be warned if you go here be prepared to be happy when you leave but good luck with what you end up with in a week. And don't think they will do right by you and return your money. I don't get my nails done, but I accompany my girlfriend to her appointments at Pamper. If I did, Janelle (@janelleodakura) is the girl to go to! I don't mind how long it takes because it shows how much they want YOU to be satisfied with your nails, as well as how much they love what they do. They are extremely accommodating to what you want done, and will always give you 110%. Patience is a virtue, and is worth it in the end. Not only are they extremely talented, but all ar...ound chill people. I love hanging out all day chatting and laughing with Janelle, Vivian, and Leah (or any of the other Pamper ladies), while I sit and wait. It makes the time we spend there fly by. There has not been a boring experience with Pamper, and I always look forward to my girlfriend's next appointments! I used to looove, really love getting my nails and pedi done here. Ruby was always the best for both gel and acrylic services. I recently went back and noticed they are completely under staffed and some technicians are new. I still decided to get my fill and pedi done during lunch while I was at work. With 2 people working on me I didn't expect them to take 3.5 hours.. you heard it.. 3.5 hours. A regular pedi and full... not new set, not gel takeoff, or even a manicure. I want to say the guy whoDid my fill was named Daniel or David... well my fill was horrible. I'm looking at them now and still they are so thick and raised that I'm ready to goTo my regular lady to fix. She will probably kill me for going elsewhere. I have an acrylic overlay on my real nails which are pretty long. I definitely suggest looking elsewhere. No so friendly staffed and one of the ladies hurried the girl doing my pedi soShe can get started on a new customer waiting. I'm sorry if they are doing services that your paying for there should t be a rush or interruption. To top it off... It is the hottest salon in the Bay there art is unbelievable!! it is all hand painted but one must understand that perfection takes time so if you are not a person that is not patience for perfection then this is not the salon for you this is a salon where you are meant to be pampered all day if needed they have excellent service and great art skills no tips are added to your nails everything is sculpture meaning everything is started from scratch the way things are suppose to be but one must go see for themselves but let me assure you lady's you will be in luv!!what are you waiting for go pamper your self lady's?!?! This is my first time back in a while and I now remember why I had stopped coming. I had my nails done by an older man, who cut my cuticles too deep and both my thumbs bled. Then without asking, all of the sudden he comes out with this open pill and dumps some powder on my nail to "stop the bleeding". This is not a pill that they keep for emergencies, he tells me that it's something his dr gave him for one of his cuts! Not to mention, my nails turned out horribly. They are missing polish on almost all of the sides and the polish is uneven. I used to have my nails done by Sody, who does an okay job. Regardless, the salon is so dirty and they always have their employees food and snacks laying around on the nail bar. I won't be coming here again. Read Less

I love this place! I get my nails done with Denise and my pedicure done by Julie or Emily. The quality is awesome and they take their time. I always get compliments on my nails and toes. I've sent a few referrals as well and all are happy. I recommend making an appointment if you have your fave people there because they are busy most of the time. I am a loyal customer for over 4 years and will continue to be a loyal customer. I make the drive from Alta Loma every two weeks because it's worth it!! Read Less

I decided to get my nails done here, on a whim, and I am soo sad that I did. I informed the gentleman that I wanted a full set with gel polish. Prior to him beginning to shape my nails, I told him that I wanted them almond shaped. He huffed and told me that it was too much work and would cost $10 extra. Since he seemed bothered with doing it, I simply asked for him to slightly round my nails. Needless to say the shape was horrible and they were more square than anything. During the filing process, he filed so hard into my skin, that I had a gash on the side of my middle finger, which immediately started bleeding. Using his own finger (without gloves on), he applied direct pressure to where it was bleeding and said " oh sorry". He then proceeded to try to file that same nail. I had to request that he stop filing it because it was hurting. He then poured some alcohol or something on it. I unfortunately allowed him to finish my nails, but looking back, I wish that I hadn't. I should have said something at the time and been more assertive, but I didn't want to be "that customer causing a scene". My nails were extremely mis-shaped and they started lifting within days. The greatest upset came when I decided to take the nails off, to discover that two of my nails ( including the one that was cut) are now green. I am sorely disgusted and honestly would never come here again. I can't tell anyone where to go or how to handle their business, but it's quite clear that there are not sanitary practices going on here. Went to get my nails done with pedicure. Was asked while I was waiting what color I wanted and was Thrown a color palette for gels. Told them I wanted a French tip then a woman named sody I believe said well what kind of French tip with an attitude. I wasn't aware of how many kinds their were lol. Then while I am sitting at the chair apparently she gets angry that my water bottle is in her way she literally slams the pillow on me and throws my water bottle in the chair next to me. I was shocked but decided to just let it go. She was having a bad day or something. She then does my nails EXTREMELY rough and goes relax I won't cut you, literally a second later she cuts my thumb cuticle and it hurt really bad. Now I have a big gash on my thumb that looks and feels awful. Also she didn't even press back my cuticles they look HORRIBLE. It literally looked like I got some press on nails at Walmart and out them on. I noticed that Sody had many people saying hi to her and she was oh so nice to them, maybe she only treats regulars or people she knows with respect because to me she was rude, very rough, and did a terrible job on my nails. She also kept Rolling her eyes like I was doing her an inconvenience of just being there getting my nails done. A lady named sherry did my toes and she did an excellent job and I really liked them. I am secure enough in my masculinity to admit that I like some "me" time every now and again. I love getting massages, and other spa treatments. I have to admit, it has taken awhile to find a place that feels okay for a guy to walk into. I mean honestly, There have been times where I've walked into places, it goes dead quiet, and everyone turn around to look at me. You know what I mean? Just like in the movies, except this was real life. It wasn't that way at Red Persimmon. I mean, some of the female customers looked at me like I accidentally walked into the ladies room, but the staff made me feel completely welcome. They have awesome massage chairs, a really friendly staff, and the work they do is top notch.  If you don't order any extras, you can walk out of there with a spa pedicure with warm lotion leg and foot massage for $20, including tip. Honestly, it's the best deal in town.The only thing that would make it better is if they had a bar. Like really, I can't think of a better time that doing shots of Jack while getting a pedicure. I had a manicure and pedicure. Both ladies proceeded to take off my skin with the emery boards as they were removing my gel nail polish. Both ladies drew blood from both my fingers and toes. I had my nails done at Red Persimmon a few times. In the beginning, the quality of the services was satisfactory; however, it has gone down significantly. The last time I went there, the manicurist did a horrible job. When I went back to get a nail fixed a few days later, everybody was too busy to help me, and the receptionist was very rude. I would not recommend the place to anybody. There are many nail salons in the Chino Hills/Chino area that care about their customers, so there is no need to do business with Red Persimmon. Read Less
