I had my toes done by some lady, I didn’t get the name of either of them but the lady didnt even clean under my toe nails she cut my nails all uneven and didnt even file them right then my nails were done by a chinese guy and he left them all bumby and 2 of them look like chili peppers 😭😭 Update 3 of my nails broke off. A horrible experience. My sister had her nails done her by one of the guys and it looked like a 5 year old did her nails. He kept cuting her skin with the electric drill also.  I made a post yesterday and for some reason it did not get posted.  Her nails were chiping as soon as he was done. To top it off he was talking crap about his previous client to my sister. That is really bad customer service.  She had to get to her next appointment so she could not wait. I took her the very next day and spoke to the manager ana. She said she would take care of it and ask us to come back at 4pm.  They were very busy so we said yeah 4pm is fine. When we came back. Ana had someone still in her chair.  We waiting 25 mins then i told her. You asked us to come back at 4 so u could fix the ugly job your employee did and then make is wait. U knew we were coming in a 4 u should have not taken someone at that point.   We won't be going back to this place. I have never been so upset with the service I received today. Tom was my manicurist at first he seemed nice, but once I told him the color he put on me wasn't the one I wanted he got upset. Then I asked him to fix my nails because they were lumpy, again he got upset and started pulling my hands aggressively. I stood calm and said nothing. Towards the end i didn't like the way my nails were full of bumps so I asked for a discount since he grabbed me with such force I didn't want to stay and get it fixed. He had the nerve to say it wasn't his fault?? He was so rude to me when I just wanted a nice set before my trip. He didn't even apologize or anything. Im new to Ontario so I am looking for a new salon. Now I don't know if it was just my experience but the nail techs here need to be more knowledgeable about their nail polish selection. Some of the swatches on the gel nail set were incorrect for the lighter colors (whites, greys 473-495s) I made it clear to my tech (didn't get her name) that I wanted a whiteish color. She came back with a pink and before I knew it she had put it on my nail. The name on the bottle was the correct one I had asked for but the swatch was drastically different. I told her I didn't want it and continued to ask her to bring other grey samples that I identified on the swatch set but they were all pink in the bottle! I even asked her if it would change color on the UV light and she said maybe yeah and then it didn't.  I got upset and gave into pink childish nails since I was started to kind of make a scene, I should have pushed harder but I'm not that type of person... I left really dissatisfied. The tech didn't even bother to help me actually find a white color she just looked annoyed and said something to the other techs while I frantically searched for options. No one helped. I looked like an idiot. Yes, they are JUST nails but when your paying $50 for something you want your money's worth Oh and they have holographic color nails on their pictures but when I asked if the carried it they looked at me like I was crazy. Probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had, and I've had A LOT!!  I didn't get the gals name, but WOW she was amazing!!  This will be my new GO TO PLACE FOR PEDICURES from now on!!  The staff is great, didn't wait long, the salon is clean, the pedicure chairs are luxurious, and the cost is reasonable.I'm a dude and I get pedicures often, but if you are a dude who is new to pedicures or you are looking for a comfortable environment and good quality work YOU MUST check this place out!! Made an appointment for a Tuesday evening, we got there on time but they took about 20 mins to seat my friend and I. Emily was my tech, I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she proceeded. After she was done shaping my nails (cut me twice) she showed me the colors they had available and none matched the color I showed her in the beginning!When you come here, make sure they have what you want before they start on your nails. This place is packed every time I go. But I get it, they do a good job, and it's inexpensive. There are 3 other shops within less that 100 yards but this place is always full. Today I came for a gel manicure and the nail tech Ivy advised me that my natural nails were long enough for a coffin shape. I have never had that done before. Let me tell you I AM IN LOVE. This is my second time here, I have attempted others but they were too busy. My first gel manicure lasted 3 weeks no chip. The literally have 100's of colors to choose from as well. Best recommendation for service is to come as soon as they open. You will wait even with an appointment. Took one star for overcrowding and general lack of sanitation. Read Less

I have been going to Love Nails for about 3 + years. From the very beginning I have felt welcome. I am never dissatisfied and if there is a flaw with my nails, all I have to do is make a call and the owner will make sure that it is corrected at their expense. Wow ! I have been to this salon 3 times already... & I fall in love with them more and more after every visit!!!! The 2 times I did my nails I was paired with Steven & let me tell you... he is AWESOME! He's been doing acrylics for such a long time and you can tell with the unique technique he uses! I visited the salon with no appointment and waited less than 10 minutes before being seated to have my gel manicure. I was pleasantly surprised that the wait was so short as the salon seemed packed and I had previously read reviews that complained of issues with timeliness.My nail technician was nice. She tried to make a little conversation, but the language barrier made it hard so we mostly just smiled at one another once in a while. I liked that she didn't try to force uncomfortable conversation, but she still was making an effort to be friendly. I didn't catch her name unfortunately.Though I was nervous throughout the manicure as she seemed distracted, (would paint my nail while looking up at other things going on in the salon and make fast jolty movements with my hands), the manicure turned out looking great. I'm not a fan of the Bath & Body Works lotion (Japanese Cherry Blossom) she used on me to finish off the service, but this is just a random personal preference, I suppose. I would recommend a highly quality lotion that truly moisturizes and isn't so overly fragrant smelling. Overall, my experience was positive. My nails look neat, clean, and cute. My technician was kind. My total was $22 dollars though, which is expensive IMO for this very basic manicure and a salon with very little ambience. They do a good job though; you just can't expect anything that's worth raving about. Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. First impression was total hole in the wall that gets CRAZY BUSY! Definitely not an upscale nail spa, but I've been to upscale spas that do mediocre work which is why I was on the search for a new place. Waited about 25 min for a full set and thankfully enough I was set up with Jessica. I wanted a pedicure also but there was no way I was going to get both at the same time with the amount of people there and I was on a little bit of a time crunch. Jessica did a great job on my nails, she listened to exactly what I wanted. Short, almond shape nails. I will definitely try this place again but not on a weekend. Don't get me wrong this is a nice and elegant place to look at but all the good technicians only do acrylic nails I guess doing gel manicures belittles them. I can't wear acrylic due to being in the medical field and wouldn't mind even paying extra, but no they want me to go to someone who doesn't even know how to put polish on correctly. You can't even find someone in this place that knows how to do a decent French manicure without the lines looking like a 3 year old did it for you! Been coming here for 4 years, before they were about the customer and making them feel good about their experience and doing a nice job.
